On the other end of the call, Sybil kept silent for a long time. Then she sneered, "Hey, is it Miss Wang? What are Your Excellency's orders?"

Her voice dripped with sarcasm. Estelle curled her lips and replied in a cold voice, "Cut the crap. Come here and open the door!" There seemed to be a laugh sounding from Sybil, and then she fell silent. After a while, the call was ended.

Estelle knew that Sybil would never come out to open the door for her.

She gritted her teeth and dialed Sybil several more times, but no one answered. Sybil just completely ignored her.

"You don't want to answer my call?" Estelle murmured to herself. "Okay, then I'll climb over the wall and break down the door!" Then, she rolled up her sleeves and began to scale the wall.

However, no matter how hard she struggled in her attempt to climb over the wall, she made little progress. Suddenly, a little boy came out of the house with a ball in his hands. He looked at Estelle, stupefied. Ten seconds later, he seemed to realize what was happening, and then he burst into tears.

Estelle was frightened, and she quickly jumped off the wall. She lost her balance and landed on the ground.

Somehow, when she saw the little boy crying, her own raw emotions were triggered, and a lump formed in her throat. She started crying, wailing even louder than the little boy.

At that moment, the door behind the little boy suddenly opened again. A middle-aged couple came out.

The man picked up the little boy and looked at Estelle in confusion. As for the woman, she opened the door, went to Estelle, and pulled her up from the ground.

The woman looked at Estelle nervously and asked, "Ouch, you're crying so sadly! Did you get hurt?"

Hearing her words, Estelle couldn't speak for a while. She had even forgotten why she was crying. She sniffed and shook off the woman's hands. She took a few steps back, and then looked at her family home, pointed at the house, and asked, "Is this your home?"

"Yes!" the woman replied.

"So, have you been living here for a long time?" Estelle asked the woman, unwilling to give up.

The woman shook her head and looked to the man for support. He immediately walked forward with the boy in his arms.

His piercing eyes looked Estelle up and down. Estelle shrank back fearfully. This man's gaze was just too fierce.

The boy had stopped crying in the man's arms, and he looked at Estelle curiously. Estelle mustered up some courage then and asked again, "Excuse me, have you been living here for a long time?"

The man's reply was curt and to the point. "No."

"Really?" Estelle's eyes reddened again. She looked at the woman, wanting to ask for more details.

After a short pause, the woman looked back at the house and said, "We bought it three days ago."

"All right!" Estelle suddenly smiled, though there w

.

"Estelle, how are you feeling now? Are you in any pain?" He looked her over so many times, wanting to confirm that she was all right. When he was sure that she was unharmed except for her pale face, he felt a sense of relief flood his heart.

Estelle didn't reply to him. When she turned away, she saw Emily and the other girl. Her eyes lit up at first but then became gloomy.

Bonnie sensed the strain and awkwardness between the three people, so she explained, "The doctor said that she is fine. But her blood pressure is too low, and she has suffered an emotional crisis. That's why she fainted all of a sudden. She'll be fine after some rest."

"Emotional crisis?"

Ethan couldn't help thinking of what had happened before. He scratched his head in regret and appealed in a low tone, "Estelle, I'm sorry! Please come home with me!"

For the first time, Estelle realized that Ethan could lower himself to even beg her in front of other people regardless of the situation. However, she was still angry because of the recent events, so she said coldly, "Ethan, just go. I want to be alone."

"Estelle, don't be childish. Where else could you go at this late hour?" Ethan pleaded.

"Estelle..." he called her name repeatedly.

However, Estelle didn't want to see him anymore, and she closed her eyes, ignoring how desperately Ethan pleaded with her.

Emily watched the scene in front of her and guessed that the two of them had quarreled. Otherwise, Estelle wouldn't have been so distraught that she hadn't even looked at the traffic light.

The corners of her lips raised slightly. She didn't intend to continue watching this soap opera. "Ethan, since you're here, we'll be leaving now." Then, she took Bonnie's hand, intending to leave.

Estelle finally plucked up the courage to call to her. "Emily." She wanted to say something but hesitated as she fought her inner turmoil.
