Chapter 466: That‘s My Baby

Jack quickly pulled Emily and the baby behind him without a second thought. The woman missed them by a hair and fell over to the floor. She wobbled back on her feet, swaying a little from the dizziness.
Eventually, the guards all came forward and subdued her, but she was still whipping her arms around trying to reach for Emily and the baby.
"My baby! I want my baby! Give him back to me! Why are you taking him away?"
Raven black hair devoured the woman's face like a nest of spiders, as she screamed her lungs out. Her skin scraped against the floor and she started bleeding from various places. However, in her frenzied state, she completely disregarded her own condition and shouted hysterically at Emily.
Emily was terrified by her behavior. She was so shaken up with this crazy woman that she couldn't think straight. 'Is she crazy? Why is she looking at me like that? Why is she looking at the baby like that?
The Baby? What does she want to do with the baby?'
The woman's shrill voice made Jack's hair stand up on the back of his neck. A sudden rush of blood to the head made Jack lash out. "Take...take her down! Get her out of here! What are you waiting for? Move it!" he anxiously ordered the guards.
"My baby, I want my ba…" Before the woman could finish her words, she was gagged by the guards and dragged away. Only the woman's deadly glare lingered as she locked her sights on Emily, like she was trying to kill her with her eyes.
The baby woke up and started crying because of all the commotion. Emily tried to put him back to sleep so she lowered her head and coddled on the baby in her arms. All of a sudden, the woman broke free from the guards and jumped onto Emily. "My baby is crying! He needs me!"
"Shit! Someone stop this mad woman!" Jack jumped in between them to protect Emily and the baby. The woman dug her long nails into Jack's face and almost scratched his eyes out, birthing a deep and long scar across his face.
In the blink of an eye, she reached out her hands towards Emily and rushed to her. Everything was happening so fast that Emily didn't have the chance to react. She held the baby in her arms tightly and closed her eyes, but the room suddenly went silent. When Emily fluttered her eyes open, she found the woman lying on the floor, spitting blood from her mouth. Fortunately, Jack was able to kick the woman away from Emily before she could reach her.
"Jack?! What did you do?" When Emily final

Emily was barely herself now. She couldn't process what she had just heard and her head throbbed so hard that she thought her brain was going to explode. "Is this true? Are you telling the truth?"
Jack tried to hold her hand but she pushed him away.
The man nodded without hesitation and said, "I am telling the truth. We actually came to the hospital today to look for our baby."
Jack was eager to cut in and stop him when an old lady rushed out and went straight to Jade. She scolded Jade in front of everyone in a rude manner, "Who do you think you are? You have brought nothing but shame to this family. I should have objected to this marriage..."
She then grabbed her son to the side and tried to reason with him, but she changed her attitude the second she saw Jack's face. "Oh, it's you. Sir, I am really sorry. This stupid son of mine has lost his mind. Don't listen to him. The baby is yours, and we will never take him back."
