The clock on the wall showed it was already 3 pm, and Emily had unknowingly fallen asleep for over an hour now. Emily stood up and stretched.

"What do you want to eat, Dr. Fang? I will go to buy some afternoon tea for you now."

Since it was 3 pm, it was too late for lunch and too early for dinner. The perfect thing to have at this time was some afternoon tea. Having some alone time with Emily made Tyron excited.

"I'll go with you," Tyron offered with a faint glimmer of joy in his eyes.

"Actually, I think I'd better go by myself," Emily turned down casually without a second thought.

It was said that doctors had the most exhausting career, so it was quite normal for them to be extremely busy in the hospital. However, why did Tyron have so much spare time?

The corners of Tyron's mouth turned down slightly. "Why?" he asked, looking up at Emily through his lashes. "Am I annoying you? Haven't you just invited me to an afternoon tea. Do you regret it now?"

With a nervous laugh, Emily waved her hands at Tyron. "No, of course not," she explained, afraid that he misunderstood her. "I was just thinking that you might be busy with work. I just don't want to disturb you. If you go with me, it will occupy too much of your time."

In truth, his schedule depended on his own discretion. Tyron had the freedom to choose whether or not he was busy. Since Emily was here, he squeezed some time even though he was quite busy. With that, Tyron took out his cellphone and pretended to take a look at his schedule.

"I don't have any patients this afternoon," Tyron said as he slipped his phone back inside his pocket. "I'm completely free."

"Alright. I'm going to tell mom that we're heading out first. Then we can go," replied Emily with a nod. She figured it was better not to say anything more.

After telling Carol their plan, Emily left the hospital together with Tyron.

The sunshine in the afternoon was still quite blazing. As soon as Emily walked out the hospital, she could feel a heat wave hit her face like an invisible wall. Raising her hand, she protected her eyes from the harsh sunlight.

Just then, she was suddenly under a cool shade. Turning around, Emily was surprised to see Tyron holding a black parasol over their heads.

"You brought a parasol, Dr. Fang!"

Staring at Emily's rosy face, Tyron gave a slight nod. "Yeah. I saw that it was sunny outside so I grabbed one before we went out. This heat isn't good for you."

In truth, Tyron didn't have a habit to take a parasol with him when he w

but turn to Tyron with a curious look on her face. "Do you usually come here?" she asked.

From her observations, Tyron wasn't only familiar with the shop owner, but also the menu. Emily noticed that all the food he had ordered were the specialties of this milk tea shop.

"Not that much," he replied, leaning back on his seat. "The owner used to have an asthma relapse at the door of his shop and his medicine was used out. It just so happened that I was passing by and was able to help him just in time,"

Tyron explained matter-of-factly, like it was the most natural thing in the world. However, Emily thought it was a cool thing for him saving other people's life.

"Wow! Really? That's so great! How come you know how to heal just about anything?"

From her previous injury to Carol's accident, Tyron was able to supply proper treatments. Emily regarded Tyron as a versatile doctor because he seemed to know almost everything there was a doctor could know.

It was rare to hear praise from Emily, and so Tyron couldn't help but show a proud smile on his face.

"Actually, I'm not as talented as you think. I just learned more than others," Tyron said as he pushed his spectacles up the bridge of his nose, hiding the fact that his eyes were overfilled with joy.

"I think you're as talented as Sean..." added Emily, suddenly remembering Sean.

When she was about to give birth to Beryl, she was about to lose her. But thanks to Sean's excellent medical skills, it turned out to be a successful pregnancy.

"Well.. We're still pretty different from each other,"

said Tyron, feeling a bit taken aback. 'I'm not like him...' he thought to himself as he gritted his teeth.
