Dina's face turned as white as a sheet. The tension between her and Ray was so thick that it could be sliced with a knife. She clenched her fists tightly. Her body was shaking as was her voice when she opened her mouth to speak. "You... What do you want?"
'What do I want?' Ray thought.
'From the moment Dina decided to lie to me, she should have seen this coming. There are going to be dire consequences and she should have known that.'
He had his hands wrapped around her throat—he was choking her. He tightened his grip. At that moment, his handsome face was contorted into a scary one as he asked, "Where's Emily?"
Dina started to have difficulty breathing. Her face was starting to lose color. Then, she pressed her long fingernails into Ray's arms. Suddenly, blood gushed out from his arm.
"Where's Emily?"
Anger filled his dark eyes as he asked Dina again, his voice hoarse and deep. Instinctively, he tightened his grip around Dina's neck so hard that she almost fainted.
"I... I..."
Dina said, rasping for breath. She knew Ray would just continue strangling her if she didn't give him what he wanted.
Ray only let go of Dina when it looked like she was about to say something. Cold air rushed through her sore throat, making her cough violently. "Ahem, ahem, ahem... Ahem, ahem, ahem..."
Ray merely glared at Dina and then said coldly, "Tell me all you know!"
"This is not the right place to talk. Follow me," Dina said. When she had calmed down, she discreetly shot a glance towards where Darren was. However, it was way out of reach and way out of earshot, so there was no way he'd heard anything.
As a matter of fact, Darren didn't completely trust Dina and she knew that. However, she was already immensely enjoying the comfortable life she had now. So even though she kept on cheating, she told herself that as long as she still had some use to Darren, he wouldn't leave her.

She'd already feared for her life earlier when Ray had put his hands around her throat, and here she was again in the same situation. She put her hands on Ray's arm as she nodded her head. She was shaking.
"Darren loves Rita but I really don't know where Rita is. I was fighting with Darren just now because I found out he still had feelings for her. Please trust me. I really don't know where Rita is,"
Dina said as tears fell down her face. She was trembling in fear.
Ray believed Dina because he saw the sincerity in her eyes. He slowly let go of her neck, a bit disappointed. He was just worried about Emily, Rita, and the kids, which was why he had lost his temper.
He didn't care whether Darren loved Rita or not. What he was worried about was Emily's safety. 'Is she safe now?' Ray thought.
He had tried his best but he still couldn't get anything useful out of Dina. Emily was still nowhere be found. 'At least, I know now that Rita and the kids are safe, which is also good for Emily, I guess, ' Ray thought to himself.
