The third reason is the peaceful state that the city has, while the entire world was filled with monsters and chaos, the surrounding territories around New Dawn City were surprisingly peaceful making everyone envious and curious.
Finally, the last reason was the rumour of a living god, of course, all of them first felt that this was just a hoax, that is until they finally meet with Shadowslash.
While everyone is panicking about Shadowslash, Ivy arrives at her destination, her expression becomes solemn as she faces off against a wild Griffin.
It was a peak Gold Rank monster that could suppress lower life forms with just its aura, unfortunately for it, the beings it was currently facing are capable of defeating it.
The horse underneath Ivy lets out a neigh, it sounded like a thunderclap in the ears of the Griffin, its mind became disoriented, Ivy uses this opportunity to throw her spear at it.
The spear seems to gain sentience, it turns into bright purple light, the speed was too fast for the disoriented griffin to dodge, the spear easily pierces through the Griffin’s body.

*Skree!* The sharp pain made the Griffin snap out of its disoriented state, unfortunately for it, one of its wings was pierced by the spear and it can no longer fly.
Before it started falling, it still managed to release hundreds of wind blades at Ivy, the horse snorted and a powerful aura burst out of its body, easily destroying the wind blades.
The horse then dives down, the Griffin instantly senses the threat coming from its opponent, it opens its mouth and lets out a supersonic cry.
“Thunderblast!” Ivy’s spear flies back to her hand and with a loud cry, electricity sparks out of the tip of the spear.
She controls the electrical current, the two attacks collide and with a loud explosion, the two sides were even, actually, if the horse did not disperse the remnant of the supersonic cry, Ivy would have taken some damage.
In a direct confrontation, she lost entirely, her battle experience was too little and her control over her strength isn’t up to par with her current rank.
Her strength is only comparable to a normal peak Silver Ranker even though her current rank is at Gold Rank, the only saving grace for this weakness is the fact that her companion has the strength of a peak Gold Ranker but with an experience comparable to that of a Saint.
Bang! Even after falling from hundreds of meters from the sky, the Griffin still manages to survive, it struggles to stand up but because of the injuries from its fall, its current state was vulnerable.
Ivy was not going to give it mercy, she once again threw her spear and without fail, it killed the helpless Griffin, after it died, it became motifs of lights and flew towards her body.

They quickly decided to inform their lord about their discovery, meanwhile, in the capital city of Preintos, a mass of refugees have been gathering towards it, all of them were victims of dungeon outbreaks.
The Preintos Kingdom was actually quite lucky because they at least have New Dawn City, the other territories have to fend for themselves against the monsters pouring out of the dungeon.
Seeing a flying creature approaching the city, multiple refugees immediately panicked, large flying creatures were already tied with dungeon monsters in their minds.
The knights quickly reacted, they all took out their weapons, the ones that are the most nervous were those that were wielding bows, they can’t just shoot their arrows as there are multiple civilians around them.
Their leader saw their hesitation and shouted at them “What the hell are you waiting for?! Do you want that creature to munch your bones?! Fire!!!”
They could only grit their teeth and fire, Ivy who was approaching the capital city felt multiple objects flying towards her direction.
She snorted and with one thought, her companion easily destroyed all the arrows shot towards them, she became furious, she shouted at the people below “How dare all of you try to attack me!”
Her enraged voice could be heard by everyone below her, they were stunned because her voice sounded like a little girl, their expression became strange.
Ivy then descends and when they all see her appearance, they are dumbfounded, Ivy does not care about their reaction, she shouts at the top of her lungs “Bring me to Zlander!”
The expression of the knights became serious, their leader who looks like a person that belongs to the noble circle shouted at Ivy “Little girl, how dare you casually say the name of our great prince?!”
Ivy ignores him, he turns to the refugees and asks “Was he the one that ordered for me to be shot?”
Her voice was calm but all the refugees instantly felt immense pressure descending into them, without hesitation, all of them nodded.
Ivy shot an electric ball towards the head knight and he was immediately electrocuted, he trembled in shock as the electrical current ran throughout his body.
Seeing this, every knight felt a chill gripping their hearts, especially the archers but Ivy did not punish them, she only ordered them “Bring Zlander here, tell him that our almighty lord wanted to discuss something important with him.”
Suddenly, one of the children on the side of the refugees asks “Are you god?”
Ivy was startled, she shakes her head and answers “I am not god, I am just his messenger.”
The little child was shocked, he then asked “Would god save us from this disaster?”
Ivy shakes her head “God said that the current event is happening because this world was about to get destroyed, the destruction would have killed all living beings in this world, he bargains with this universe, the monsters that are wreaking havoc everywhere are beings sent by this universe to test us.”
Everyone was shocked, what she had just said was simply unbelievable, the child asked “What is the universe?”
Ivy could not help but smile “That is also my question, then I received a shocking answer but considering your feeble mind, I do not think that you are capable of understanding it.”
A voice sounded out “The universe is what we are now standing upon, it consists of billions of worlds and uncountable living beings, this world is just a speck of dust in the grand scheme of things, we should be grateful that our beloved god gave this world a chance of survival.”
Everyone turns towards the source of the voice and sees Zlander walking towards Ivy, he kneels, shocking everyone present “Lady Ivy, it is a pleasure to meet you, I have heard from one of my men that our beloved lord is looking for me.”
Ivy nodded, she sighs “Our almighty lord seems to be weeping for the loss of lives in this world but because the expansion of New Dawn City is quite slow, he cannot save as much as he wanted to, the monsters are our tribulation, he will just be a guide not the saviour.”
Zlander nodded “So my lord wants to discuss how to save more lives, as expected of him, he is truly benevolent and kind, do not worry, I will immediately go there.”
He takes out the orb that Shadowslash gave to him and a white sagely dragon appears, its aura makes everyone breathless.
He looks at the refugees and says “Those that are seeking safety, head west, there you will find the kingdom of heaven, if you want to get revenge or obtain power, only in that location would you be able to achieve or obtain it.”
