The gray knight strength is nearly comparable to Shadowslash so lifting him up isn't hard but Shadowslash wouldn't just let him do it, his tails moves at incredible speed slapping the gray knight away.
Shadowslash actually wanted to use his Illusion but the gray knight seems to be immune in this type of attack so he could only resort to physical attacks.
The gray knight was overwhelmed not because of Shadowslash's strength but because of his attack patterns unlike him his opponent wasn't restricted to only 4 limbs.
He cannot defend the combination of the attacks that Shadowslash dish out to him, he was hit numerous of times and because his opponent wouldn't let him get some distance he was now slowly being beaten senseless.

Without hesitation he flees but before he was able to numerous other insects started coming out from the cracks of the sky and they started flying in swarms.
Shadowslash became confused but quickly he was informed by Hentai that this situation might be disastrous for the entire world so without hesitation he used the power of the tablet inside his body to repair the broken sky.
The sky starts to repair at a rapid pace and after a couple of seconds it finally closed down but there were at least 300 insects that managed to enter this realm.
Shadowslash snorted as he opens his mouth and fired a dragon breath towards the incoming insects but before the attack reached the insects they opened their mouth and devoured his attack.
Immediately he realised that he was fighting against beings that is similar to his scarabs but have a much horrifying ability to absorb attacks and have much higher cultivation too.
Without hesitation he also ran away the direction he was running away was the same direction as the gray knight he wanted to lead these insects towards the location of the base of the chaos beasts.
The insects sensed his aura and their eyes flashes with greed they quickly chases after him, their swarm is like a representation of death everywhere they passed the entire surrounding would become dull and colorless.
His speed is much faster than the gray knight only their reaction speed is the same, without any surprises he managed to catch up to the gray knight after just a couple of minutes.
Sensing someone was following him the gray knight looks back and his eyes widen in shock as he saw his earlier opponent chasing after him but upon seeing what was chasing from behind he couldn't help but tremble in fear as he desperately increases his speed.
Shadowslash arrives beside him, he quickly said "I know that both of us are enemies but we need to put aside our difference and help each other if we want to survive."
