When I woke up 5 days ago, I discovered myself inside a prison cell, albeit a relatively clean one.
As a prisoner, the prison guards scorned me but only went as far as to use verbal insults. Odd.
I tried taunting their presence with a condescending sneer but to no avail. They would always try to hold themselves back.
There is a rule stating that prison guards cannot abuse the prisoners but it will be fine as long as nobody reports it to the higher-ups.
They are neither afraid of me nor the punishment. The only conclusion I can come up with is my background. They are afraid of my family.

The more I think about it, the more I can align my existence with Arsto. 3 days ago, one prison guard was close to blowing his top until his colleague stopped him.
His colleague said "Don't mess with the Turner family! Do you want to die!?"

The prison guard grits his teeth. "Sir William Fon Turner," he said.

After the meal, I have other visitors. A mage, two knights and Rena herself. The mage takes a crystal ball and asks me to put my hand on it. Afterwards, he channels mana through it. The crystal ball transfers the mana into my body and produced the desired report back to the mage himself.
The mage gets up and shakes his head. "Sir Turner does not have any energy core. In addition, his physical body is very weak for a knight."
Ah...I see. I know what is going on.
Rena sighs and nods to the knights. The knight releases the chain tied to my limbs.
I get up and brush the dirt off the leather tunic.
Rena walks off.
"Follow the captain." the knight says.
I did as instructed and walk behind Rena.
"Perhaps, did you think that I kidnapped the lady?" I ask.
"Impressive for a scoundrel, you can even read minds now," says Rena.

Rows of buildings at different heights, pathways engulfed by snow, deciduous bare trees occasionally scattered between snow-covered buildings, and children running and laughing in the snow as their parents watch from afar. In the middle of a plaza is a giant statue of a man wielding a sword.
I'm in the capital of the Kingdom of Elvis.
