The demons' onslaught bases through thousands of troops.
Parts of the main army rush to Rena's territory.
"Pass the order! Everyone at the backline, stomp your feet in quick intervals!" Rena says.

Thousands of steps tremble. Mother nature shivers
Skunges stop in place and shake in confusion. It jumps, moving haphazardly.
"Fuck! What's happening?!" a demon riding a skunge says. Their advantage turns against them. The disorientation allowed Rena's subordinate to overpower the attacking force quickly.
Skunge does not have eyes or ears, the sense it relies on is "touch". It sends out a strong vibration wave to ascertain its location. Interrupt that vibration and it sends them into a perplexed state.
On the other hand, it requires a lot of people to "interrupt" the wave. This strategy isn't viable when alone.
Rena turns to Radz. Radz uses sheer power to destroy the invaders. One swing of his large sword emitted a shockwave capable of blasting out the mass of land around him.
"Radz, I will pass command to you," she says and leaps away.
"What?! So suddenly?!" Radz cries out. "Where are you going?"
Rena ignores Radz and jumps ahead.
She arrives at the main defence fending off the hordes. Cannons and catapults fire at every attempt, raining the battle with explosive firepower.
On the wall surrounding Ikas, rows of marksman shoot continuously providing as much cover as possible.
A large burly man wearing huge chunks of armour commands the troops. He can take on four enemies at once by efficiently defending and attacking with his large shield and sword.
"Sir Aldan!" Rena jumps to the large burly man.
Aldan cuts down two demons at once and turns to Rena. "You are the...rising star Rena? Why are you here? Go back to your position!"
A beast pounces at Rena, and without looking, Rena slashes the beast in two. "Where is Marte?"
"What do you mean?" Aldan says. "He is..."
Aldan looks back and notices Marte gone along with some other executives.
"What..." He mumbles. "Did they...abandon us?"
In the midst dilemma, evil arises and steals their attention.
A few flying demons look down upon the battlefield.
"Alright~ that's enough sacrifices to gauge their strength, bring the big guys in!" says one of the demons soaring.
"Big guys?" Rena says.
A wave of cries befalls the battlefield. Much larger demons, beastman, and monsters emerge from the snowy white dust.
"So what we fought was a warm-up huh..." Aldan says. "Get back to your position, we will find Marte later."
Rena nods and leaves.
Aldan notices the confidence of his soldiers plummeting.
"Do not fret! We are the empire's greatest warriors! Victory will be in our hands! JAGEN!"
"JAGEN!"
Following Aldan's lead, the soldiers charge toward the invaders.
A demon attacks Rena. Rena ducks to avoid a slash and thrust her sword at his chest. However, the demon barely blocked that and is pushed back.
"You are strong!" the demon says.
Rena clicks her tongue and appears behind the demon, decapitating him. It's definitely harder now.
The enemies she faced before were young demons, inexperienced beastman and low beasts. Right now, it's a real war. However, the sacrifices' siege drained a significant amount of stamina from the army.
She decides to join her subordinates and kill as many as possible.
The defence starts to crumble. Accounting for wide gaps in physique and strength, a one-on-one fight against a demon will most likely result in death. In addition, the unknown number of invaders made everyone anxious.
Aldan's sword glows bright yellow, it is light mana. He zooms forward and throws two crescent slashes of energy, one vertically and one horizontally. He ends the combo with the leap in the air crushing back down; Truly a force to be reckoned with. His explosive power parts oceans of bodies into a red sea. The guts and fear of his enemies splash onto Aldan.
Suddenly, Aldan is forcefully teleported to the mountains away from Ikas.
"My my...why not fight someone your size." A flying demon says and grins. The mischievous look on his face pissed Aldan off. Wearing a simple black coat and an inner white shirt with blue shorts, the young playful demon flies around Aldan, his white hair and eyes camouflaged within the snowflakes.
Aldan jumps up and throws a slash at the playful demon.
"Woah! Calm down!" The demon says, easily avoiding that strike. "Let's introduce ourselves, shall we? I am Lei-"
Aldan's aura explodes, jacking his muscles. His speed erupts throwing himself at Lei.

Sparks and shockwaves shatter. Aldan's sword was about to touch Lei when someone interfered. His sword, now trembling, was blocked by an arm.
"Lei, what the hell are you doing?" says the man blocking the attack.
"Tch...who are you to butt in, Kai?" says Lei.
Kai is a demon with long messy brown hair wearing a simple ragged cloth and straw hat. He looks like a human beggar on the exterior but emits intense demonic energy.
Aldan jumps back by instinct. Another demon soaring above gazes at Aldan.
"Don't interfere. He is mine," says Lei and pushes Kai aside.
He walks to Aldan with a bright smile, the previous annoyance nowhere to be seen. "let's start where we left off alright?"
Lei's hand starts to glow in black mana. Aldan charges at Lei with his sword to his waist. When he swings, Lei simply teleports behind Aldan and throws a punch.
Aldan is able to react in time, turning into a parry and another slash.
Lei swipes his hand up leaving behind black trails of mana. Aldan's attack seeps into the black mana. A stripe of black hole appears behind Aldan, his strike now releases behind him and hits Aldan.
"Wha-...Spatial magic?" says Aldan.
Lei smiles in delight. "Yes!"
"Ugh..."
Aldan had countless fights against magicians but not one against spatial magic, notorious for its profound insight. Not to mention Kai and the last demon, Aldan knows he cannot win. Even so, he plans to go down with one of them.
When Lei sees Aldan's defensive stance, he takes it as an invitation and attacks. Several warp holes appear around Aldan and miscellaneous nature pours out. Snow and rocks obstructed Aldan's view. Out of nowhere, Lei appears from the fog and throws a jab. Aldan blocks it with his sword but is thrown back.

Black mana materializes behind Aldan and he falls through. The next moment, Aldan is in the sky and sees a foot.
*BOOM!*
Lei kicks Aldan's face and forces him into another warp hole. A black hole unzips above Lei and Aldan falls out, receiving another kick from Lei into another warp hole. Warp holes haphazardly appear around the sky as Aldan flies everywhere; The sound of the rhythmic impact explodes throughout the air.
Finally, Lei ends by punching Aldan into the snow.
*BOOOOOOOOOM!*
Torrents of snow shoot up.
"ACK...NGH...cough cough..." Aldan grasps his head as he spits out blood. His left arm is twisted into a purple twirl.
"You are more durable than I thought." Says Lei who descends to Aldan. "I-"

"H-Huh?..." Lei mumbles. A sword pierces his body from behind.
Rena pulls the sword upwards and slashes Lei into two. "The only way to kill a spatial magician is to ambush," Rena says.
