Amongst the four masked men, one of them held a dagger; he appeared to be the leader. “If Miss Yu is willing to cooperate, then we will not make things difficult for you,” he said as he looked at Yu Gangan.
He then stretched out a hand welcomingly, “This way please, Miss Yu.”
“Where are we going and what are we doing? Don’t you think you should tell me?”
Since they knew her name, who sent them?
“Miss Yu, you simply have to follow us. You will know when you arrive,” the man said as he played with his dagger.
In the dark of the night, the dagger flickered a cold light while Yu Gangan clenched her fists. She appeared normal on the surface, but her heart was racing and an uncontrollable fear was building deep inside her.
She wasn’t leaving with these men; she couldn’t leave with them.
“Men, there are many ways to make money. One way is to risk your life making money, another is to make money lying down. No matter how much money you’ve been offered, I can give you double. One of the men pulled out a handkerchief and Yu Gangan knew straight away that it was covered with ether: a chemical used as an anesthetic.
Yu Gangan fell into a panic. She was scared.
A cold face suddenly came to mind. He had previously protected her domineeringly in his arms, telling her that she would never get hurt with him around.

“Fang Zhihan…” She didn’t know why, but she suddenly called this name.
The four men were a little stunned as Yu Gangan tried to escape. But, as soon as she turned the corner, she fell on the ground.
At that moment, a blinding light shone towards them, lighting up the dark alleyway.
Everyone subconsciously squinted their eyes.
By the time they managed to respond, a black jeep skidded over and stopped in front of them.
The car door opened and two men stepped out. As they were standing in the light, it was hard to see their faces. But, it was apparent that they were wearing suits and their bodies were tall and built.
Before the four masked men reacted, one of them charged forward and kicked the man with the dagger.
The man went flying into a nearby rubbish bin and fell on the ground, his forehead and lips covered in blood and his dagger lying on the floor.
The other man that had stepped out of the Jeep said in amusement, “Mr. Fang, don’t you think your kick was too strong? You might frighten the pretty lady.”
The man ignored him as he kicked the man with the dagger into a ditch and walked over to Yu Gangan.
Yu Gangan watched as the man approached her. His handsome face was cold as usual and his eyes were like ice, emanating a sense of danger.

Fang Zhihan took wide steps towards her and pulled her into his arms before she got a chance to react. He then covered her eyes with his hands, “Don’t be afraid, I’m here!”
