The sound of knocking on the wooden door came closer and closer from afar. Dana, who was asleep, opened her eyes and woke up.

“Oh…”

When the blanket covering the body was pulled down, a reddish naked body was revealed. In the meantime, someone kept knocking. Dana covered her body again completely, and made a small noise.

“Come on in.”

The door opened, and the maid came in. She was a little nervous, but it was not yesterday’s maid. She put a neat, clean dress at the end of the bed and bowed politely.

“How would you like to eat?”

This maid’s attitude was very polite compared to the one from yesterday.

“Uh, I…”

“If you want, I’ll bring it here. You can come out and eat as well. His Grace is already in the dining room.”

Dana hesitated for a moment and nodded. “Please bring it here. First, I have to change, so please go out.”

The command naturally popped out of Dana. The the maid went out of the door at her request without hesitation.

Dana put down her blanket again awkwardly and looked at her body. Even after the fuss last night, the skin was dry. Even between the legs she was clean. Of course, the traces of red marks left in several places remained the same.

“Who… Is that person?”’

Dana carefully rose with a red face and picked up the clothes that the maid had left behind. It had a simple design, but it was made of smooth material with a high-quality luster. Only then did she raise her head and look at the room.

“It’s not an ordinary house…”

As she was conscious, she finally noticed it. Starting with the bed where she was sitting, the furniture, wallpaper, and even the doorknob looked flawless.

Dana got out of bed and began to put on the dress. Relying on memories she didn’t know where she got, she fumbled only a little, wearing a complicated dress alone quickly.

In fact, when she first came here, she couldn’t even do something so straightforward because she couldn’t say anything and all her memories were lost.

‘I was like a complete fool.’

It got better gradually, but she was still in a hurry because she couldn’t speak for long.

Her mouth opened at a really random time—the memory of yesterday, which came to mind, made her blush.

She went in front of the mirror and combed her hair to control her shame. It reminded her of what she had said last night.

‘I like you. Will you let me stay by your side?’

It would have been unbelievable, and that was natural. But for some reason, if she said it at that time, she thought he would be shaken.

‘Usually, such a person is thirsty for blind affection.’

She tied her hair together and finally made eye contact with herself in the mirror. The blue eyes were now shining quite clearly.

* * *

After eating in the room, Dana left the door on her own for the first time. While going down to the lobby, the maids she met bowed and passed by without making eye contact with her.

Was it because she spent the night with their master? She went out of the castle, speculating.

When she opened the door leading outside, the cold air of spring was still blowing, and her blonde hair flew. Her body curved into itself because she didn’t have outerwear, but it wasn’t bad. She felt like the cold wind was clearing her mind.

It was not until she walked a little further that she could see the building as a whole. The magnificent and huge mansion looked like a castle.

“Somehow… I’m used to it.”

She tried to reflect on her memory, but it was useless. She sighed in frustration and touched her stinging forehead with her hands.

‘How long do I have to be in this state?’

Some things came to mind. Such as the texture of the dress she touched one day, the shape of the jewelry she liked, and the scenery of an unknown street.

However, important things were missing.

“Who am I?”

Dana stared at the pattern of the insignia hanging in front of the main gate for a moment. She muttered to herself. She patted the growing grass under her feet with her toes, and she began to circle slowly around her castle again.

‘I was saved. And I lost my memory… Before that, I didn’t hear where I was found or what condition I was in.’

It was only natural. It hasn’t been long since she started talking, and she wasn’t in a situation to have a proper conversation.

Caw-

At the end of the spire soaring high in the sky, a crow sat and cried sadly. The sound of crows and cold wind swirled into the hole in the heart.

Dana became terribly anxious and lonely, hugging her shoulders with both hands. It was lonely to have no memories.

“It’s cold.”

At that time, she was surprised by the feeling she felt on her back. A man’s jacket was draped over her shoulders, and Leon was behind her.
