On the road leading to the Embroidery class, Emma felt as if something had fallen on her from above.
After what felt like a brief pause, she heard a piercing cry come from behind her.
With that one cry as the trigger, the young ladies, who landed their eyes on Emma, let out a scream one after another and started running away.
As she looked blankly at the big panic which had suddenly broken out, Emma picked up one of the blackish ‘things’ which had fallen onto her body in her hand.
“Kyaa~~ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪”
And amongst the panic, one cry of joy was unmistakably mixed among the agonizing cries of the young ladies.
“Tanzanian~ giant tailless~ whip scorpion~♪♪♪♪♪”
Emma spewed out some Japanese from excitement.
It was the world’s most disgusting insect, which she had the chance to see in her past life.
During her time as Minato, that insect would often appear in the mangas and movies which she knew. She had also one searched it up online out of curiosity. And now, that very mysterious form she had once seen on a screen was right there in her hands.
Pedipalps which looked like unnaturally huge arms.
A flat body that would make Emma think, ‘D-Did it get stepped on?!’ in distress.
And the light green babies (larvas) attached closely to its back after hatching from the egg.
“Kyaa~♪ How disgusting♪ Ugh, how cute♪ What’s thiss~♪ Kyaa~~♪.“
‘Ufu, ufufufufufu. I have to bring all of these home without leaving a single one behind!’ thought Emma happily.
She slowly lowered her body to kneel at her current spot while paying attention not to crush the tailless whip scorpions.
“Ah, don’t! If you move over there, I’ll accidentally step on you. Come here, come here. Just take shelter here for now. Yeah, just like that. This way.“
Emma started to gather the tailless whip scorpions into her skirt one after another.
Tailless whip scorpions would cut their own legs if they sensed danger, so Emma had to be extra careful as she guided them gently into her skirt.
Right when the last one entered her skirt, Emma saw Joshua, George, and William running towards her.
“Emma-samaa—! Are you alright?”
Joshua fell on his knees in front of Emma, gasping for breath.
Arriving only a step late behind Joshua, George and William also gathered directly around Emma as they raised vigilance against their surroundings.
“Emma, what happened?!”
When George looked at the scene around him, he was completely stupefied.
Around a dozen or so young ladies were lying on the ground unconscious, and several young ladies stood motionless in shock. In the middle of that, some young ladies were struggling to run from the place while enduring the pain of the wound they had gotten from tripping over the unconscious bodies.
It was a picture of hell.
“Nee-sama, is it a monster?! Is it a local barrier hazard?!”
“Huh?”
After being too immersed in her own world for a while, Emma finally looked at her surroundings after William’s words snapped her back to reality.
“Eh? What happened… to everyone?”
“That’s what we are asking here!!!” William screamed. Why, why must my older sister be the only one spacing out in this situation?!
“Emma-sama, are you injured? Does it hurt anywhere?”
Joshua supported Emma’s body to help her stand up, but she wouldn’t budge.

Even William and George, who were already used to being around insects, screamed after seeing the tailless whip scorpion. Its appearance was that special.
“A lot of Tanzanian giant tailless whip scorpions♪ suddenly fell from above when I was walking, you see. It’s great that I was able to collect them all in my skirt, but if I stand up too forcefully, they’ll fall out… I definitely must take them all home with me without leaving a single one behind!”

If a large quantity of this insect fell from above, the noble daughters would, of course, be so shocked that they fainted.
