The next day when I woke up in the morning, everyone was already preparing breakfast in the dining room.
It seems that morning in this village comes earlier than expected.
It might be better not to stay up late too often.

“Now, Reno. Go and apologize.”

Prompted by Kili, Reno runs towards me.

When Reno arrives in front of me, she bows and says so.
Unlike yesterday, she was as quiet as a borrowed cat.

When I call out to Reno, she becomes stiff in surprise.

“If Reno is still willing to learn magic, I’m fine with teaching you.”
It was a little weird hearing honorifics which Reno had never attached to my name before.
“Ha ha ha. No need for honorifics. You can call me however you like.”
“!! Yeah, I want to learn! I want to learn magic from Lain nii-chan!!”
Reno looks up at me with glittering eyes.
Well, if Reno sees me as her brother, I can only respond to her request in return.
Though I’m not sure how far I can take that.
“Are you really fine with that?”
Kili asks me that worriedly.
Milia and Aria were also looking towards me.
“As long as the fact that you can use magic doesn’t slip out.”
“If Lain is fine with that, I won’t stop it but…”
Kili didn’t seem fully convinced as of yet, but still agrees to it.
I put my hand on Reno’s head, who was looking up at me with hopeful eyes.
“Kili has also given her permission, so I’ll teach you. Though you won’t be able to use it like me right off the bat, alright?”
“Yayy—!!”
Reno was happily jumping in celebration.
As I was looking at Reno with a smile, my clothes are pulled from behind.
I turn around to see a girl pulling on my clothes.
“I too, will learn, magic.”
“Was it Sui? Does Sui too want to learn magic from me?”
To my question, Sui nods.
“I’m fine with that. An increase of one or two won’t make a difference anyways.”
“Thank you. Lain.”
For the time being, I’ll put together various things in order to teach them.

“To make sure you don’t do anything perverted to these two!”
After that, when I talked about teaching magic to them, Aria, Milia, and Kiri stopped me with all my might.
It seems that magic is something taught only by family members and relatives.
It seems that those who do not have a magician in their family have to pay a terrifyingly high amount of money to become the disciple of a famous magician.
As a result, only aristocrats and wealthy merchants are able to use magic.
This isn’t a statement made in worry for me who’s teaching them for free, but instead magicians who ask women stuff like- “let’s become a family, heh heh” and make them do dirty things.

If I wanted to take a disciple, I had to apply with the state first.
This country was pretty lose with those rules though.
Though that only makes things easier for the teacher.

I had never heard about the Astra Kingdom, so it seems that I’ve come a pretty long way.
I don’t have any intentions of returning to my home country though, so I guess it doesn’t matter where this is.

However, they couldn’t manage to wipe the surprise from their faces.
I was planning to use a more expensive one sooner or later, but will they be okay like this?
“Aria and Milia don’t seem to intimidated at all though.”

“I can use some magic if it’s beginner level.”

“Good question. Magic and magic tools can be activated using the magical power of humans. But if you just live normally, you can’t feel that magical power inside you, right?”

“Which is why, I gave you this magic tool. To use a magic tool, means to use magic. From there, I’ll have your bodies remember the feeling of using magical power. If you do this for two or three days, you should be able to get a feel for it.”

“I’m fine with that. An increase of one or two won’t make a difference anyways.”
