When Shizuku-chan heard my words, she tightly squeezed my hand back.

“Hurst-san, um. . .”

“Please, follow Shina-sama’s heart.”

I know because I’m holding it.

Shizuku-chan’s hands are very cold.

It’s been trembling all this time.

I want to relieve that tension even just a little if possible.

That’s why, when I looked up at Hurst-san, wanting to sit down some place where we could relax, he nodded that it was okay.

So, I’m sorry for the special squad, but I’m going to take Shizuku-chan with me.

“Thruster-san, please take care of the rest.”

If it’s Thruster-san authority, I’m sure he’ll do something about it.

Thinking that, when I asked, Thruster-san laughed softly.

Then, in the next moment, he was kicked by Ryleigh-kun. . .

“Response?”

“Yes, certainly, as you wish.”

Yes. Brotherly love, brotherly love.

“Shizuku-chan, you must be tired, so let’s go somewhere where you can sit and relax.”

“. . . Yes.”

Everything can be solved by the brothers’ power, so I’ll leave it to them and talk to Shizuku-chan.

Shizuku-chan nodded slightly at my words and answered.

“I wonder if the place is my room. . . It’s okay, I’m not scared.”

While trying to be as gently as possible, I held Shizuku-chan’s hand and slowly started walking.

I heard the special squad commander’s voice behind me, but Thruster-san seemed to say something back.

So, without worrying about it, I took Shizuku-chan and walked to the wooden dormitory.

Hurst-san, Ryleigh-kun, and Zezgard-san also accompanied us.

“It’s nice weather today.”

“. . . Yes.”

“The wind feels good.”

“. . . Yes.”

While walking, I continued the casual conversation.

There dis a lot of silence, but that doesn’t matter.

I’m just talking to Shizuku-chan so that she doesn’t feel uneasy.

This is the first time I’ve met Shizuku-chan, but I can see that she is worried about a lot of things.

That’s why, the first most important thing is to calm Shizuku-chan’s heart.

. . . I was prepared to accept all of her anxiety.

It is [Isarai Shina’s (Resolution Form)].

The form is a change.

If it had horns, the color would change.

And what I can do is. . .

* * *

[Summon Kitchen!]

Chant and welcome. Yes, this is the usual kitchen.

“. . . I couldn’t think of anything else.”

While I’m in the kitchen, Shizuku-chan is waiting in the room with Hurst-san, Ryleigh-kun, and Zezgard-san.

She might be uneasy alone, but I’m sure she knows Zezgard-san, and Ryleigh-kun isn’t the type to give you a sense of tension, so it should be fine.

It might be better if I stayed by her side all the time and just talked to her.

But I thought it would be a good idea to get Shizuku-chan to eat something to ease her nervousness.

“When I was alone, eating bacon and eggs made me feel better. . .”

Yes. I was summoned to another world and put at the edge of the royal palace.

I was told that I couldn’t go home, so I had no choice.

. . . At that time, I ate a warm meal.

Thick yolk and fragrantly grilled bacon.

Hot bacon and eggs made me smile.

And that’s what connected me and Hurst-san. . .

. . . Food has the power to connect people.

I believe that.

“Okay! Let’s make it!”

What I can do is put my heart into making food.

Shizuku-chan must have been served gorgeous food all the time at the royal palace, but there shouldn’t have been anything like what she ate in Japan.

“First, the ingredients. . .”

Look at the liquid crystal and choose the ingredients to exchange.

“Fried tofu, fish cake, white onion, Chinese cabbage, carrot, radish, salted kelp.”

Japan.

Choose such ingredients, and finally. . .

“. . . Udon!”

It’s a familiar thing that you can find anywhere in Japan.

Shizuku-chan has definitely eaten it too.

“After that, mentsuyu and. . .”

It might be better to make the broth properly, but this time I thought it would be good to have a taste that everyone has eaten at least once, so I decided to use mentsuyu.

“I guess it’s a colander and vegetable cutter.”

Not only ingredients, but also cooking utensils.

These two things are important here.

“Exchange, and so on.”

I traded a lot of things, but I don’t really care about the points.

After coming to the Northern Knights, I have been cooking more meals in the kitchen, so my experience points are accumulating more and more.

It’s more efficient to use my skill, but if I make enough for about 30 people at once, I’ll still accumulate a lot.

Then, when I operated the liquid crystal, the kitchen table shined as usual, and the exchanged items appeared.

“Vegetables first.”

I headed to the countertop and placed a large cutting board while avoiding the ingredients on it.

And then, a holy sword. . . no, I held a kitchen knife in my hand.

This is to make the necessary amount of ingredients.

Reserve only what I will use and store the rest in the refrigerator.

Then I cut the ingredients.

Cut the fried tofu into strips. Cut the fish cake and carrots into round slices.

Cut the white onion diagonally and cut the Chinese cabbage.

Vegetables are changing shape on the cutting board.

“And make carrots into the shape of flowers. . .”

The vegetable cutters I exchanged earlier were flower-shaped.

Hold it tightly on top of the carrot sliced into round slices and put your weight on it.

When I put my weight on the carrot at first, there was some resistance, but when I crossed the middle, it suddenly fell through to the bottom at once.

Gyusuton.

Gyusuton.

Repeat this several times to make flower-shaped carrots.

And when it’s done, the kitchen table lights up. . .

“. . . A clay pot for one person!!”

Yes. What appeared was a clay pot. It’s also for one person.

The plump shape and soft gray glaze are very cute.

“As expected. . . Thank you. . .”

The kitchen table is so crowded that there is not place to rub it, so I rubbed the hinged door under the countertop.

Already. . . You can see my feelings in the kitchen. . .

“I like it. . .”

Rub and stroke.

“If the clay pot is brand new, it will need to be prepared, but it will probably be fine.”

I’m sure. It’s ideal.

A brand new clay pot has to boil in the water used to wash rice and wait for a while, but it seems that part is already over.

So, when I put the clay pot on the stove, I added mentsuyu and water to it.

The mentsuyu is three times more concentrated, with a ratio of mentsuyu:water of 1:7.

After mixing it with chopsticks, add the core of Chinese cabbage, white onion, and flower-shaped carrots.

Then light the stove and wait for it to boil.

“Okay, next task.”

What’s left on the kitchen table is a half radish.

Hold it and peel off the skin first.

Then, put a colander on top of the bowl, and finally switch the kitchen knife to a grater. . .

“Grated radish!”

When you move the radish, it will be grated while making a shori shori shori sound.

This time I need a lot of grated radish, so be quick, but be careful not to get hurt.

Radish has a lot of water, so it will grow steadily without putting much effort into it.

Then, after grating all the half of the radish that was cut into pieces, there will be radish with plenty of water in the colander.

That state also looks very delicious, but I rinsed the colander and squeezed the water tightly.

When I pressed it with my palm, the water flowed out of the colander into the bowl.

“Oh, it’s boiling.”

While I was doing that, the Udon soup in the clay pot was boiling.

So, the colander with the squeezed grated radish is in the bowl. Then, I put frozen udon noodles in the clay pot.

Because the frozen udon noodles were added, the temperature of the udon soup dropped, and the bubbly boiling subsided.

Add Chinese cabbage leaves and fried tofu and bring to a boil!

“Hm. . . It smells good. . .”

Once the udon soup is boiled, it is baked on the surface of the clay pot and makes a crackling sound.

From there, a fragrant smell rose up and tickled my nostrils.

This scent is also important for nabeyaki udon. . .

“Well then, the finishing touches!”

This time it’s not just nabeyaki udon.

Now comes the important point.

Put energy into it and lift half of the drained grated radish by hand.

And round out the shape. . .

“First, the body. . . then make the front legs. . . yeah, okay.”

While muttering, I changed the shape of the round lump of grated radish.

“. . . It’s a bit like making a snowman.”

Yes. I feel that the work of collecting white fluffy things is the same as making a snowman or a snow rabbit. Unlike snow, it’s not cold

The work is similar to clay work.

The grated radish, which was just a circle, changed into a body with two front legs sticking out slightly.

I put it on the cutting board and picked up the remaining grated radish left in the colander.

“Also, the head. . . the ears are perfectly round. . . put a little forward here so that the nose can be attached. . .”

Just like before, make a circle first.

From there, try sticking the ears out and sticking the nose forward.

“. . . three-dimensional modeling is difficult.”

It’s not flat, so I changed the angle and arranged it so that it looks good from any angle.

Then, place the completed head part on the body that was on the cutting board, and gently stroke the seams with the tip of the chopsticks to join them together.

Using chopsticks, I was able to smooth out the details that were difficult to do with just my fingers.

“Yeah, I might have done it well.”

Drained grated radish sticks firmly and is stable.

Right now it’s just a white model, but if I add a facial expression to it, it will be cute.

“The rest is detailed work.”

I put my heart into it and take out a little bit of salted kelp from the bag.

The face is made from this salted kelp.

First, cut the salted kelp into the right size with a knife.

I made it into the pattern of the toes of the front feet, eyes, nose, mouth, etc.

Finally, grate the carrots parts that have been removed with the flower mold.

And if I use it for the pattern the ears and the redness on the cheeks. . .

“Polar bear grated radish!”

I can’t help but smile with satisfaction.

Some people may not like to decorate their meals like this, but this time I tried to make it cute because it’s Shizuku-chan, a high school girl.

. . . Cold hands. Because I want to warm those small trembling hands.

Then, while I was making the polar bear, the clay pot was boiling, the frozen udon noodles were loosened, and the vegetables were cooked well.

The next step is to arrange the udon noodles and ingredients so that the polar bear does not sink, and creates a base in the center.

After butting the fish cake on it, if you put the polar bear with its upper body and two front legs in the middle, it looks like a polar bear is taking a bath. . .

. . . Polar Bear Nabeyaki Udon.

“It’s done!”

Mentsuyu is noodle soup base. I hope Shina’s sincerity is conveyed to Shizuku from this meal, and that Shizuku will feel a little better and release some of her stress after eating it. I wonder what is going on in Shizuku’s mind. She seems like she’s terrified of something. Is it just because she can’t go home? The stress of being the saint? The fact she can’t use her skills? Or is it something else?
