At the Main Palace of the Royal Palace grounds, a family of five had just completed their silent breakfast.

At the head of the table sat the King and at his two sides sat the two Princes of the Kingdom.

Draco Roschester sat on his right while Fritzen Rosenhyde sat on his left.

The star of today's event, the birthday girl sat next to her precious uncle, and on the other side of the table sat the Queen of the land with her son by her side.

Thus the family of five was all together which was an extremely rare sight to behold.

Today's breakfast was prepared as per the King's wishes and had everything that his daughter liked.

King Ophire glanced to the right and smiled when he saw the happy face of his little girl who turned a year older today.

Princess Felicia was bursting with joy as everyone had taken time out of their busy schedules to eat breakfast with her.

She was especially happy that her mother was also present to join her on this special day.

She had least expected her mother's presence as she would often avoid her on her birthdays.

The Princess had not seen the sight of her mother on her birthday ever since she could make sense of her surroundings.

Hence, this was a special birthday where she could meet the mother who had given birth to her on this very day, six years ago.

Felicia then turned to her left where she could see her father smiling at her and then to the person sitting next to her.

'Uncle is also here!' She exclaimed that he had not disappeared like usual and had made it a point to be here.

She then ignored the other boy at the table due to yesterday's events and then turned her sights back to the elegant lady sitting before her.

Queen Zena could sense the curious glimpses that the little girl was shooting her way but she did not let it show that she had noticed it a long time ago.

She had been planning to remain in her Palace like every other birthday that the little girl celebrated but was ordered to rethink her decision.

Every year, King Ophire would let her do as she pleased but this time, he had hinted that he wanted her to make an appearance no matter what the situation might be.

This caused her to feel wronged at first but when she realized that her husband rarely ever asked anything of her, she chose to respect his wishes and come over along with him.

King Ophire felt his Queen staring at him and raised his eyes to take a look at her.

A smile escaped his lips when he made eye contact with his pretty bride and there was love which increased when he recalled that she had come over today because of his words.

'This might not look like a big thing for others but for her, this is a huge blessing.' He sneaked a peek at his daughter who was beaming widely.

While everyone was lost in their own thoughts, Draco's eyes were fixed on the boy who was seated opposite him.

'What are you so anxious about? I told you that you shouldn't have said those things but you were sure that she wouldn't mind.' He rolled his eyes and alternated his gaze between the two siblings from the younger generation.

Yesterday while the two boys were sparring, Fritzen had narrated what had taken place at Felicia's pavilion.

After listening to everything, the wise uncle only had one thing to say to his nephew.

'You better be prepared to receive her cold shoulder.' He warned the younger boy who did not take these words seriously.

Now looking at Fritzen's anxious face, Draco could not stop his victorious smirk from appearing.

Prince Fritzen noticed the gloating look on his uncle's face and pouted further.

Not wanting to make him feel worse, Draco decided to drop this matter right here and even thought about how to fix the issue between the siblings.

"Shall we bring out the presents?" He inquired while scanning everyone's faces.

His brother, the King gave an eager nod as he never said no to his little brother if it was about matters which weren't harmful to him.

The Prince had a lukewarm reaction at first but when he glimpsed at Draco's eyes darting at Felicia before looking back at him, he understood the message hidden in those movements.

'My gift will certainly make her talk to me again!' Fritzen exclaimed in confidence at his preparation and smiled in gratitude to his uncle's quick thinking.

Draco then glanced at his sister-in-law, Queen Zena who nodded as well which meant that she had also prepared a present for her daughter.

Though he was surprised, he did not let it appear on his face and finally looked at his niece who had turned six today.

"What do you say?" He questioned while rubbing his chin as though he was contemplating whether to give her presents or not.

"Yes, please!" Princess Felicia nodded repeatedly and was just short of bouncing in her seat due to her immense excitement.

The family members chuckled at her adorable actions while the Queen did her best to not chide her as this would cause her husband's mood to sour which she would not like as well.

Thus the gifts session was set to begin with the biggest person in the room.

King Ophire chuckled at the sight of his daughter who was glancing at the door, waiting for a servant to arrive with the present her father had prepared for her.

However, even after a few seconds, she found no one entering the room which made her turn towards the King.

'Now you know that I am the one giving the present and not the one bringing it?' He curled his lips while pressing down on the urge to roll his eyes.

"Your present isn't here." He announced which caused them to widen their eyes.

He watched as Felicia's excitement was replaced by a sullen look as she lowered her head.

'Father did not prepare a gift for me…' Her thoughts were evident to everyone right after taking a single glance at her.

Draco once again glanced at his brother and gave him a disapproving shake of the head when he saw the King snickering in silence at the prank he had played on his daughter.

'What? She looks so cute when she pouts!' King Ophire defended his actions after catching sight of his brother's stern face.

This caused the young Prince Draco to sigh as he agreed that she indeed looked very cute when she pouted.

"Don't tease her too much now, Big Brother." He whispered in favor of his adorable niece whose shoulders seemed to be drooping with each second.

King Ophire nodded because he could never refuse his beloved brother's request and then cleared his throat to get the little girl's attention.

"Your gift isn't here because it hasn't been made yet." He corrected the misunderstanding which only made things worse.

"Father forgot about my birthday, didn't he?" Felicia's sniffles filled the room, making everyone panic as they shot condemning glares at the man who had caused this.

The King felt flustered when he saw everyone glaring at him, this also included his Queen who showed a rare impatient face which she had never directed at him before this day.

As though she could sense the King's surprise, Queen Zena coughed and looked away as she returned to sipping her warm tea.

'I can discuss that later, now I need to cheer her up first!' King Ophire decided and looked at his gloomy child.

"My present for Princess Felicia to commemorate her sixth birthday is the construction of a new greenhouse in the Rose Palace for her personal use." He announced why he had said that the gift hasn't been made yet.

This brought surprised expressions on their faces which soon turned to appreciation for his thoughtful present.

Princess Felicia's demeanor which was drooping was now back to the high-spirited nature as she smiled widely at her father.

"Felly will take good care of the flowers that will be planted in it!" She promised and bowed her head in gratitude to her father.

King Ophire smiled in complacency as he had already set the bar very high for those who would present their gifts after him.

'Childish!' Prince Draco scoffed while smiling at his elder brother's behavior.
