An earth-shaking boom resounded from the punch, as it even overshadowed the sound of the falling tree.
With his eyes wide open, Noah watched in shock, as a whole, as big as a soccer ball, opened in the middle of the wolf's body, where he had punched. Its body flew for a few meters, before hitting a tree and coming to a stop.
Everything seemed to happen in slow motion, though it did.
Noah stood there for a full minute. His right arm still stretched outwards after he had thrown the punch.
Though he eventually lowered his arm and started staring at his fist, and back at the body of the wolf that had stopped moving.
He did that for a few seconds before the appearance of a panel made him snap out of his stupor.

"Well that explains why it didn't change, though I wonder what level I'll undergo my first evolution," he said.
He knew what Mach was since he was taught about it in his former world.
Mach was used in representing the speed about that of sound (343m/s), or (761mph). So since his current speed was Mach 1, that meant he was just as fast as sound.
He wasn't sure if the world he was in following the same rules as his former one, but since the system classified it as such he believed they were the same.
After all that, he glanced around, seeing the broken tree, he simply ignored it and walked towards the body of the wolf.
On getting to it, he couldn't help but still be shocked, the hole he made through it was massive. Due to that, the singular thought that ran through his mind was 'Damn I am really strong.'
After a few minutes of admiring his newfound strength, he heard another sound that sounded like a growl, but now it wasn't a beast, it was his hungry stomach!.
Now that he thought of it, he hadn't eaten anything since he had gotten to this world, and he also didn't know what to eat.
After some seconds of deliberation, he decided that since the wolf was dead, at least he could get some meat, but he had a problem. He didn't know how to cook or carry it, he had never learned how to start a fire using unconventional means.
He was a city boy. Things like that were considered a waste of time, but now he wished he had learned some outdoor survival skills, though about the issue of carrying it, he simply thought of wanting it to appear in his inventory, and to his surprise, the wolf's dead body disappeared.
With one problem out of the picture, he started walking away from the fight scene. While navigating his way through the forest. Although he still hoped to find a settlement of some sort.

After about two hours, or so of walking, and continuous rumbling of his stomach, he found a small clearing that looked like it was done artificially.
Moving closer, he saw a few tents, exactly three in number, and a fire.
Moving even closer, he began to hear voices, that sounded like those of men.
They seemed to be coming from the other side of the tents. Walking even closer, Noah failed to notice the two men stationed near the entrance to the clearing. They were on trees opposite each other.
One of them immediately shouted some words, when they noticed Noah's figure. At that point, Noah finally looked up and noticed them.
He immediately froze right on his spot, while still looking up at the duo. By then the man shouted something again.
At first, Noah didn't understand what the man was saying, since he seemed to be speaking in a different language. Still unsure of what to do, a panel popped up.

Surprised by how useful the system was, Noah thanked the gods or whoever granted him the system.
Unbeknownst to him, the two men who were tasked to guard their camp alerted their comrades of the suspicious man who had appeared from inside the deadly forest.
More men came out of the tents and stood in front of Noah, they all readied their weapons including the men on top of the trees, at him.
At that Noah became aware of his surroundings, and saw at least 10 men, who were pointing their weapons at him.
He was about to say something when a man walked out of their midst. Raising his hand, the men all lowered their weapons albeit a little.
The man. Who seemed to be the leader walked forward, and said In the now understandable language.
"Who are you? and what were you doing in the woods, so late in the night all alone."
After that, the man looked at Noah's figure suspiciously, waiting for an answer, Noah didn't make him wait long.
"My name is Noah, and I am lost," Noah answered.
The man looked at him even more suspiciously, seemingly not satisfied with his answer, but still said, "My name is Gerald, and these are my men. We are a hunting group.
You say you are lost, but how did you get this deep into the forest. Only a fool would venture this deep into the forest without a group," he explained. At the last remark, the men of the hunting group chuckled.
At that point, Noah didn't know what to say, the man named Gerald was right.
Who in their right minds, would stay in a forest, that had monsters, like the wolf he had recently killed, all alone. Though he had an idea.
"Ah... My group had abandoned me due to a monster we stumbled into," Noah said, while he watched his expression of Gerald, and saw that it flicked when he was done with his words.
Gerald seemed to think about something, before he asked, "What type of monster did you find?" at that the eyes of the whole group were on Noah.
"We had stumbled into a wolf monster," he replied.
At those words, the men of the hunting group gasped, though for some reason Gerald did not.
"A wolf monster?" Gerald asked with surprise, albeit just a little.
"Yes a wolf monster, though it seemed to be injured," Noah replied.
Gerald looked at him for a while before he opened his mouth to talk, "Can you lead us to it?" he said, looking at Noah with expectations in his eyes.
Noah wondered why the man needed to find the wolf, but before he could say
anything, Gerald continued, "We will give you food and shelter till we are out of the woods. We just need to find, and kill the wolf,"
Noah praised the gods again for his strength.
The other men from the group didn't seem that strong, and he was sure that none of them would be able to kill such a beast by themselves as he had done. Although together they were capable of that feat.
About the question, Noah decided to surprise them, so he answered, "I killed it."
Everything went silent for a few seconds, before Gerald and his men burst into laughter, they were laughing as if they had just heard the best joke on the planet. Noah even heard a few of them mock him.
He didn't lose his cool and simply acted. Though he wasn't sure if others had the system.
Nevertheless, he simply made the wolf's dead body appear right in front of him!!.
