Ozul next opened his eyes when he felt the unusual increase of Mana.

In front of his eyes, a small wave of light blue Mana was released from Blaze's body as the crystal on his forehead shined bright enough to be seen from the headband.

After a while, the waves coming out of Blaze stopped, and the crystal also stopped glowing.

During this whole process, Blaze did not even shift in his position. With his eyes still closed, he again started to focus on separating the essence from the moving Mana outside his Core.

Ozul was well aware that this phenomenon that had just occurred was the indication of Blaze advancing through to the next Rank!

He was already an End stage Rank-5 Mage. So the waves of chilling Mana signaled the breakthrough to Rank-6!

Although Blaze could not jump in happiness, he was nonetheless ecstatic due to the breakthrough. But he could not express it since he still had a ton of Mana revolving around his Core that could probably explode if his connection to the Elemental Seed was cut off.

Because of the chilling Mana waves, a few Mages outside the tent were curious, but the experienced ones immediately realized that someone had broken through to the next Rank.

These people could only glance at the tent with envy as they realized that it must have been because of the Elemental Seeds.

Back inside the tent, Ozul deeply gazed at Raven to look for any changes. But it seemed that even the smaller stages in the Rank-6 took time to overcome.

However, he did not have to wait for long before winds began to blow again, and this time, it was because of Raven. Only an hour had passed, and both Blaze and Raven had broken through!

Just a few days ago, she had advanced to the Initial stage of Rank-6, and today she broke through to the Middle stage!

It spoke volumes of how useful the essence and Mana provided from the Drakes were while using them together with the Elemental Seeds.

Their Cores would immediately absorb all the Mana from which the duo had separated the essence from. And this was precisely the reason for their monstrous speed in cultivation.

Moreover, they would keep this pace at least until they had the Mana.

Hours began to pass while the duo did not take any breaks in the middle. Even after such a long time, they looked in perfect condition from their appearance.

It was all because even when they had been cultivating for hours, they did not have to put much effort into it. The duo separated the essence at their own pace since it seemed that the Seeds almost had unlimited energy.

Ozul had read that the Elemental Seeds were supposed to last at least until a Rank-2 Mage became a Rank-8 Mage!

Although Clive wasn't aware of the details, Rufus knew everything about the Elemental Seeds.

His position was only under the Emperor of the Silverbird Kingdom, so there wasn't much information that was hidden from him.

In usual case, he would've instantly abandoned the mission and forced the person to give up the Seeds. However, he wasn't sure if he could win in a fight with Ozul in the first place. So doing fighting Ozul here in the middle of this forest was nothing short of stupid.

He could only wait to find a place to communicate with his Majesty and tell him about the Seeds. Until then, he decided to only keep a watch around Ozul.

When he felt the breakthroughs inside Ozul's tent, he instantly realized that they must be using the Seeds already. However, he could only observe from afar.

He wanted to stop the trio from using them since he was sure that his Majesty would like him to get the Seeds for himself.

Since a few hours had passed already, the outside had gotten dark. Clive had also checked the surroundings after the talk with Rufus.

As he returned, he gave some instructions here and there and went into his own tent as he was mentally exhausted.

Inside the trio's tent, Ozul sat cross-legged before a pitch-black cube. This cube contained the rest of the 7 Elemental Seeds.

The expressions on his face were rather difficult to read. At this time, he was contemplating what to do with the rest of these Seeds.

He had already given Raven and Blaze their respective Seeds, and the others wouldn't be of any use to them either. So the question remained on what to do with the remaining Seeds.

"Should I find other people?" Ozul muttered to himself. He thought if he should find more people to work under him.

Just then, he glanced at the duo who were meditating at a distance from him, "...Maybe not."

Even just the two of them required so much of his attention that Ozul did not think that he could groom another seven people like this. Not to mention, finding such men to work under him would prove to be even more difficult.

So he quickly abandoned the idea of recruiting more men directly under him.

Although that way, Ozul could have more trustworthy people under him in the future, the trouble just wasn't worth the result to him.

"Oh! How could I forget about Irvin and Haley!?" Ozul suddenly remembered that Irvin and Haley worked under him as well.

"Hm... Irvin was a Lightning Mage while Haley had Water Element," Ozul remembered the day when he had cured the old couple.

"Okay, another two down. Now, what about the rest 5?" Ozul separated the two Seeds of Lightning and Water Element from the rest.

*Zzzzzzz*

Ozul stared at the cube containing the for a couple of minutes, but he just couldn't think of any other use except for selling them or using them for himself.

"Ah, whatever!" he suddenly stood up and went near the duo.

Since there was nothing else he could do, Ozul decided that instead of letting them go to waste, he would use them himself.

He placed his hands over the duo's backs and closed his eyes. Ozul wanted to know how much Mana was left around their Core.

Although the duo felt the cold metallic hands touch their backs, they did not react and kept their focus on cultivating.

"Hm. Not yet," Ozul muttered before he stood up and went back to his position.

He did not want to use the Seeds on himself for a simple reason. It was because they would be totally wasted on him!

And it was not because he was trying to be humble or anything. It was just that his body filtered every type of energy that he had ever absorbed.

More than 90 percent of the energy would automatically be released from his body.

While the Seeds were only used to control the Mana, they contained a significant amount of energy themselves. But Ozul did not have any Mana inside his body to handle anyway. So the only way that he could use the Elemental Seeds was to eat them — as he did with almost everything that had a considerable amount of energy.

However, the problem in all of this was about the actual use of the Elemental Seeds. Turning such precious treasures into just energy reserves was a total waste. Moreover, he was at a stage where almost nothing seemed to give his prowess a decent boost.

But since there was nothing else, he could only use it on himself. Anyways, he would still be getting stronger by using them, so it was not really a complete waste.

And as for that 90 percent of the extra Mana released from his body after filtering? He had just thought of a new way to make good use of that.

He planned to let Raven and Blaze absorb that excess amount of Mana!

Usually, a Mage was not able to absorb Mana that was not from the atmosphere. However, Ozul noticed that the Seeds let even the foreign Mana from the Drakes get absorbed by the duo, so it shouldn't be a problem for his excess Mana too.

The only downside of the Elemental Seeds was that the Mages did not have enough Mana to keep the process. The naturally absorbed Mana was too low in quantity.

However, with this method, not only would Ozul get a boost in his powers, but the duo would be able to use the excess Mana as well.

Ozul estimated that the Raven and Blaze would at least be able to reach the End stage of Rank-6 with this!

The only tricky part in this whole plan was for Ozul to efficiently transfer all the excess Mana to Raven and Blaze without letting any of it disperse in the air.

He planned to surround himself with a thin layer of Ball of Purity and then quickly wrap the excess Mana just as it is released from him. After that, it was easy to transfer it into the duo's body.

He had just checked, but there was still some Mana left for the duo to absorb.

So Ozul came back to his spot and decided to rest until they finished absorbing everything. He thought about reading the book in the meantime, but sleep won in the end.
