Chapter 119

I squinted my eyes into the camp. Although it looks similar to human NPC camps in the past timeline, this camp they erected seems very grandiose and has the airs of being regal. Also, the area covered on the camp is no longer called a camp, instead, it is more proper to say that the enemy had turned the whole place into a settlement!

"This is..." even Dolly were stunned. She expected a camp consisted with demons but what is she seeing right now?

Wooden houses, a barracks, even a tavern! Are you sure that this place is a camp? Are we mistaking a town as a camp manifested by demons?

However, I probed more in the distance and spotted the so called 'square of the town' just in the middle. And in that area are crowds of armored humanoids clad in black armor. I call them humanoid since I saw that they have tails of a demon revealed behind them.

The Demons!

These demons are so numerous that the square is not enough for all of them to gather around. Just by looking at them makes you shiver. Although this is a game, I can feel a bit nervous too. I played this game for many years and of course, from that amount of time I spent playing the game, meeting demons like them are normal. However, meeting demons in a scale like this, are you sure that the developers did not want the players to clear this event? Then what? How will the next continent be patched if the first continent patched is not cleared yet?!

"Leona, land me over there," I pointed not too far from the camp.

Leona slowly descended and when we reached the ground, I hopped out and look at Dolly.

"You can monitor my presence by using Shared Vision and Track right?" I asked Dolly.

"Of course, you don't have to worry a single thing about me! You should worry about yourself!" Dolly said.

"Alright, then let us say good luck to our operation today," I grinned.

"Heh, go get them Bladeheart, don't worry, I got your six!"

I quickly moved into the sand towards the camp. The camp is heavily guarded and not too far from the camp are the guards pacing around. I am good in laying traps before since I worked with a Saboteur class player in the past timeline so this one is easy to process. Only a bit of stealth and deep understanding to the location and geography of the place, a Saboteur is akin to a land mine, once you step in, you can't step out.

I started casting Tripwire Bomb and begin collecting them while watching the enemies in my hiding place. If I want to lure them, I need to make countless of traps for them to activate, 100,000 enemies are nothing in front of an expert Saboteur who live for destroying things.

Two classes are beneficial for the Saboteur to work, the Ninjas and the Timekeeper. As a combination to all classes, this matter is nothing in front of me. I can combine them and use them for my own. And besides, I had scrolls of magic here in my inventory, if worse comes to worse, I will use them all to finish the quest.

The cooldown of the Tripwire Bomb is only 3 seconds, making it easy to collect lots of them without any kind of problem. After a while, I gained 30 tripwire bomb in my inventory. This is enough for now. I still have other skills, this Tripwire Bombs are just the beginning.

I quickly used Stealth Camouflage and quickly added Silent Sprint. The place I am heading in is very dangerous and one wrong step my trigger the guards, making the battle harder. Its not a messing difficulty to call it insane. If this is really in Insane Difficulty, the monsters has a high tenacity that killing them in a single strike is not easy. If I had to kill, kill silently and get away with it. While in the Stealth Camouflage state, I creep near the walking guard, I lightly cast Wire Choker. Using the tripwire bomb will cause ruckus. While doing this, I cast Time Stop.

Ping!

The demon guard stopped on its tracks. Seeing the chance, I hurl the Wire Choker to its neck.

Su!

Though Time Stop is just a minor 10 second skill, this is already good for me if I want to keep the confidentiality of my presence. Also, since Wire Choker has a chance to decapitate the enemy you surprised attack, I am hoping that would happen.

I pull the wire in a swift manner. The wire is so thin that you can barely see it unless you focused on it. As the wire quickly tighten into the enemy's neck, I swiftly sprinted while still pulling the wire attached on its neck.

Snap!

A snapping noise occurred behind me. I realized that I was only pulling the wire with green liquid on the center. I look back and saw that the Demon Guard is already missing its head.

"Ah?"

The demon's head is missing? When I look into the ground, I saw the head is already on the ground. There is only 5 seconds remaining, so I quickly pull the dead body away into the tracks. When the time resumed, the dead body is already away from the place. Unlike the normal online games in PCs where the enemies once killed will disappear, enemies in Alternate World do not. It adds to the realism of the game.

After killing the guard, I quickly lay low into the ground, waiting for the cooldown of the Time Stop, I stare into the guards in which, only 9 remains.

Ding!

The cooldown is now reset, ready to use.

I have not used my weapon yet but I already decapitated one of the enemy. This Wire Choker was indeed strong in terms of killing the enemy cleanly. If not decapitated, they would die from lacking air instead. Seeing the result is quite good, I grinned and look at the enemies. You guys are now in seeerrriiooousss trouble.
