In the end, Orthrus failed to escape my attacks. The battle ended as expected. After my repeated skill spam and stunning attacks, the HP of Orthrus failed to recover and he died. He finally drop a piece of Hood that I needed to replace my Beginner hood.

A hood made by the maestro of Clothes, Shux for the Villager who turned into a hero named Tusoz. Later, Tusoz gave this to his son to continue the legacy of his heroism.
It was only a common rarity but it is much better. Its stats might be better if it was Rare or higher rarity. I quickly equipped it and I felt much like a warrior now equipped by this.
The boss did not drop any items except for a few potions and a two pieces of Gold in which I picked up. A good way to raise my money indeed.
Looking at the EXP bar, it was quite depressing that the progress is getting harder to deal. Even with the effects of Memento Mori, the process is too slow since the bar only filled 49%.
But I can deal with that, the other players are still struggling to enter the town.
After securing everything, I walked to the opposite door, ready to go and slay enemies. The other side of the door is another hallway similar to the hallway I came from earlier, only much darker and hotter. The trees seems blazing stronger than earlier as it was only the leaves that are burning. Now, the whole trunk is burning to crisp. I kind of remember this as the plant that Moses talked with during the Exodus chapter in the bible. But it was total blasphemy if I compare these burning trees to the bush that Moses have talked to.
As I dwell a bit more deeper into the dungeon, a new mob appeared once again.
Skeleton Hound
Level 17
HP: 1,000/1,000
Attribute: Flame, Undead
Well, these guys are not something similar to the Demonic Hounds I beat up earlier. Skeleton Hounds are much more built with bones than flesh. It seems to move like something is controlling on it. They are easy to kill. They don't have any skills that can threaten me at all.
I casually pass against them and with every strike can cause more than a thousand damage. This is just lesser and normal dungeon, not an Abyss mode.
When I arrive near the dungeon boss room, I saw the temporary log out zone. Temporary log out zone are only available in Normal modes, I almost forgot that this one is here since I no longer play the normal mode and mostly on Hell and Abyss mode in the past. Seeing the time, I guess it is time for me to have a break. It is almost lunch time.
When I log out, I decided to eat lunch first. With the leftover food during breakfast, I decided to heat it up. I can't be too wasteful on food. While the food is still being heated up, I turn on the television for now. It was the news every lunch time. What made me surprised is that the news is covering the Alternate World Rankings.
"The rankings in Alternate World seems too surprising! Nobody knew that somebody can make the players frustrated to level up right now! Today, we are interviewing a pro player that we all knew, Shuichi Takano. Apparently, he was a beta tester of the game, Alternate World. We knew him as a player with really good progress in any kind of games. Usually, he can be considered always as number one. Players might think he is the player using

I did not even know who this guy is, however, I never expected him to be really good in the game. Many might not knew it but Bladeheart seems to be a very good player in terms of leveling. I frowned hearing this to him. He is actually inviting me to join his guild. I don't plan on joining this guy at all. In the future, his guild will be trampled down due to his arrogant attitude in the game. He might be cool headed in television but he is so hot blooded in the game. Even if I am looking for a guild, I won't be joining his guild, its just like accepting a cracked ceramic pot as a gift only to get destroyed once you hold it.
I browsed another channel and the additional Equipment for the Reality Verse is being introduced and sure enough, it is the food and nutrition add on. It will be automatically installed next week. Before I return, I opened the mailbox in my Pc to look for anything that is still conflicting me. I never expected that the electricity bill is here already. I have no money yet, but I can now convert gold coins into money now. But its still too small to convert yet. Not enough to do so. I decided to let it go for a while. I shall focus on the game first. After everything is settled in reality, its time for me to play the game and clear the lesser purgatory.
Entering the dungeon once more, I appeared next to the door similar to the door that covers Orthrus' Chamber, with only the difference of Black Flames carved on its exterior. It seems to be made of silver too. If this is in real life, humans might be willing to steal it and melt it to be sold.
I pushed the door open and the extreme heat and pungent smell from the room emanated into my nostrils. I already knew who is giving off the smell. It is the entire room. In the lore, Cerberus eat people who tried to pass through the purgatory without dying first. So this time, I will be beating this guy down.
Stepping through the room, the boss is already in my sights.
Cerberus, The Three Headed Guardian
Level 20
HP: 2,000,000/2,000,000
Attribute: Darkness, Flame
Hmmm, this boss is much bigger and much more menacing to look. I did not really mind seeing this guy, its not really that scary to me who kept on appearing for me whenever I clear this dungeon. The only problem is its power. He is really strong to beat and even the strong players who have high defenses cannot exactly defend without the buff to protect themselves.
Flames are useless against this guy. This means that the Flaming Sword and Basic Fireball are all useless against him. I have no water skills against him that can cause damage except the ice skill, Ice Prison.
But with me as a Versatile, and a weapon in god tier, I can do it.
"Kill!"
I dashed towards him who is sleeping. When I entered his aggro zone, the eyes of all three heads of Cerberus opened and slams its paws towards me.
BAM!
The whole place shook. That single strike can cause 10,000 damage ignoring the shield count on any character. Luckily I already knew. I opened my palm and chanted in my mind.
"Ice Prison!"
The ice crawls to its paws slowly but it made the boss slow in movement. With it being slowed, I rush and strike its front paws. Its front paws are its weakness. Many knew this since they keep on hitting the front of its paws repeatedly. Players play the game like a typical MMORPG games, that is why, those players who knew the Reality System and saw how the players ignorant in Reality System were able to deal too much damage against a two million HP boss, thy started analyzing until finally arriving to the point of killing this boss.
"Grahhhhhh!" I shouted without restraint. This is totally embarrassing but since nobody is looking,okay let's beat the hell out of it!
The Versatile Weapon deal a good amount of damage.

When the HP bar reached to 70%, the Cerberus howled using its middle head and the heads in both sides are all chomping in the air. I already knew what skill it was.
Beast Sanctuary is the name of the skill that Cerberus activated. Players thought this skill is useless but many who are veteran knew its main purpose. This skill is a preparation for the second berserk skill that can be triggered on 30% HP which is called Hellish Ground which causes the Cerberus to thrash around for 20 minutes, chasing random players and attacking them in full force. Its attacks can deal 1,000 damage per hits with 90% chance of critical hit and being inflicted with Bleed Debuff.
I did not try to rush to reach the 30% HP threshold of Cerberus HP. This is the only method that can weaken its power that will be added in Hellish Ground attack. I build up my focus against this guy. There is a method to kill it and I guess I need to use it now.
