This method is quite popular since this method is also a good strategy to use in Abyss mode.
Cerberus has a few weak points, only that it is too hard to exploit due to its armor points. Breaking it can show its weakness but you need strong power to break it apart. In terms of power, I can deal it, I don't need to worry on it. But this method takes time.
Its first armored part is its hind legs. They are hard to crack up but much easier than the rest. With a quick move, I changed my weapon into dual guns. I made an attack with repeated pulling of trigger to the hind leg. Bullets just bounces back but I already knew that it is working. Cerberus made a stomp.

A fire sprout out on the ground and I failed to dodge on time. The damage is a bit strong but I can recover it on time. I casted Healing Heart and Sanctuary of the Weak and my health returned back to normal. I continued to pull the trigger and run along. I also look into the ground as I am afraid that a torrent will sprout out on the ground and I am caught in it. It is troublesome to heal myself on this.
I spent at least 15 minutes of bullet barrage to the hind legs before I managed to crack both of its defenses. The HP did not get reduced much and I managed to do so without much effort. I move to the next area of defense that the Cerberus have.
It's tail is the hardest part to deal with. Cerberus can whip you using the tail and combined with a chomp of the three heads, you are instantly dead. To avoid having to deal with it, I needed to stay away from its range. This time, Bow is the best one to use. In all weapons, bow is the hardest to use for me. I have not used this one too much that is why using it today is a bit awkward. But with me, being able to learn quickly grasped how to properly bring a strong barrage of arrows on the tail while maintaining distance.
Though I am still having trouble, I can now shoot one at a time. The damages are decent too. Its not that I am relying on how quick I attack, its how precise and steady I hold on my bow.

The Cerberus seems to notice my intentions and stopped me by keeping on facing me.
I might not be considered some intelligent person but I can consider myself as a cunning one. When I got faced on the Cerberus, I made an few arrows and I shoot the three heads with arrows simultaneously. Its not that fast but I can consider it effective.

The Cerberus stomped its front paw wildly to my location in which I quickly evaded. Seeing that the Cerberus is occupied on its damaged eyes, I made my way again to the tail of the Cerberus and begin shooting. The Cerberus is thrashing around and it keeps on bouncing up and down to the place, making the whole cavern to shake.
I did not care if it thrash around, I can still shoot it. Its tail was already covered with numerous arrows from the bow that I am holding and I still kept on attacking without restraint. Not too long after my series of attacks to the tail, the armor points is brought down to zero causing it to break. The Cerberus glows red when its armor is broken. This guy is now vulnerable.
The Cerberus recovered its eyesight but before it can move again, I used my Versatile Weapon changed into a Magic Sword and charged towards it.
"Earth Fissure!"
The floor breaks out and sprouts of lava escaped from the cracks. Though it did not damaged the Cerberus, it got stalled in which is a chance.
"Shocking Lightning!"
The crackling electricity escaped in my palm and strikes on Cerberus while I am still dashing to get near on the boss. Its HP fell continuously as I strike the Magic Sword repeatedly on the boss.

The HP fell in a good way that is beneficial to me. It is practical to kill this guy faster now. With the steady fall of HP on Cerberus, I summoned all of the Shadow Clone. Though I discovered that having 10 shadow clones together is too much toll to control, I did not care. I needed to beat it up!
All of my clones attacked it.

I put a lot of effort and even if this is. a game, I will be able to produce sweat here. My sweat is dripping fast as I keep on using the skills repeatedly. The. Mana Capacity and the Mana Recovery both increased slowly. I did not mind as long as the skills can penetrate the boss.
"Roooooooaaaaar!"
At last, its HP fell to 30%. It thrash about and began on chasing me. Hellish Ground is activated. I already anticipated it. I run around, letting the big Cerberus to chase me. It needs to last 20 minutes but that is not easy and so I decided to fight back. All of my Shadow Clones are trampled to death.
"Shocking Lightning!"
The lightning managed to hit it but I still needed to spam a few more skills.
"Ice Prison!"
The Ice Prison managed to hit the Cerberus but it did not get to stop the big enemy, however, the speed was slowed down. I did not wait for it to get me and cast another skill.
"Critical Aura! Earth Fissure!"
With the help of Critical Aura, Earth Fissure managed to deal a critical hit!

Alright! Now that it get stunned, time to exploit it! I changed my weapon once more into hook. No wonder, the other player I teamed up in the past is too adamant on using this ability, its just too fun.
I throw my hook on the stunned Cerberus and pulled it along with the hook.
"Graaaaaahhh!"
The Cerberus is too heavy! However, I can still pull it and slam it down. With a few seconds struggle, I managed to slam it down.
BAM!
The cavern shook and a fee debris fell from the ceiling. The Stun duration got longer and I found my chance! I changed my weapon into an axe and wield it out. Since axes are huge damage dealer, I did not waste my time dawdling.
The attacks I did are still similar speed that I can do to a Magic Sword. This might be due to the effect of the Versatile Weapon having no weight, it affected how fast I can attack using a specific weapon. If any player saw me wielding an axe like I was just wielding a normal sword might think I am on steroids and Captain America and Thor is combined to my well being. Its HP fell in a rapid state.

The duration of stun is beginning to reach its limit so once again, I transformed my weapon into a hook and throws it to the boss and slams the Cerberus down once more, adding more duration to the Stun. With the reduced armor, HP fell in a rapid state. Soon, its HP hit the red zone but it did not get to retaliate with my repeated additional Stun duration.
The battle took me 1 and half hour to finish. When the Cerberus fell, a few items fell and a quest item fell down.
Core of Cerberus(Quest Item)
Info: The core contains magic power that can hold the dungeon more than needed. Furthermore, it can control the power of the darkness within and grasping its control power might grant the user to earn it. Ingredient of the Pole of Weakening(Enhanced Edition).
As soon as my hands were on the Core of Cerberus, the perquisites for the Quest is fulfilled.
"What?" I exclaimed in confusion. From what I can remember, Cerberus is not the last boss. Also, the item needed is not the Core of Cerberus but the Crystal of Stability in which I remembered Simona said that the last boss will be the one to drop the item, but what is going on?
The other items are all insignificant and a few of them are already devoured by the sword. In the end, I decided to stash them on. Earning money is going to be hard so I need to earn it now.
Before I can proceed further, a teleportation circle appeared beneath my feet and a notification appeared in my HUD.
"Warning! The dungeon boss is slain! The dungeon is forcibly closed due to the imbalance of the energy! Forcing the adventurers inside the Lesser Dungeon to get expelled!"
Huh? I don't remember this happening! Even when I triggered it on Simona, this is not the outcome I have expected! Also, the reason I am stunned is due to the fact that the last boss did not get to be defeated and instead, Cerberus acted as the last boss! No wonder there are only a few mobs than the usual!
Since I can't cancel this Teleport Circle beneath me, I decided to let it go. The dungeon is also beginning to deform and collapse. In a split second, the dark and gloomy place, turned back to the place that I got when I was entering the dungeon. Also, Simona is already in the entrance, holding the Pole of Weakening. I noticed the Pole of Weakening is also cracked. It no longer bear resemblance to the Pole of Weakening I used earlier.
"What is going on, Simona?" I immediately asked her. No one can intervene a dungeon diving besides the NPCs.
"The last boss of the Lesser Dungeon escaped and are gathering a few materials to counter the Pole of Weakening. Before he escaped, he destroyed a partial power of the Pole Of Weakening. I sensed it earlier but I failed to catch him. If he escaped from the dungeon, he will surely destroy the capital without any warning!" Simona was at loss.
Crap! A loose boss! This event is quite rare. Usually, if this thing happened, it will trigger an EX quest which is usually a subjugation or a raid quest. The usual events that get triggered is a small scale or if the boss is too strong, a disaster scale event.
I opened my inventory and handed the Core of Cerberus to Simona.
"I managed to salvage this, will this work? The crystal of Stability is out of my reach this time," I presented the item to Simona.
"Yeah, this is enough, Core of Cerberus is just enough ton get the pole of weakening to get better and repaired, though the Crystal of Stability is much more better to use than this," Simona took the core and snap her fingers, causing the core to disappear in thin air. I am not surprised, that is a space magic.
I agree with her. Crystal of Stability might be a quest item but you can also obtain it without worrying getting the quests. Crystal Of Stability is a tool that can add few percent of success rate in enhancing weapons. Its actually pretty precious though it gets too common in the other regions, still it is still fetching a huge amount of money.
Simona gave me a quest once more after I received the rewards from the quest. The Exp bar of mine is filled to 87% after earning the rewards.

Crystal Of Stability is a tool that can add few percent of success rate in enhancing weapons. Its actually pretty precious though it gets too common in the other regions, still it is still fetching a huge amount of money.Simona gave me a quest once more after I received the rewards from the quest.
