In Aqua Blood Alliance Guild Hall, Panther Fang arrived in the room where the Guild Leader, Black Hue Waters is residing. Currently, Black Hue Waters is practicing his cartography skill as he have chosen the Cartography Ex Job. Panther Fang knocked on the open door to notify his arrival to Black Hue and bowed down.

"Did you get info about Bladeheart?" Black Hue Waters asked, still engrossed on his task.

"Yes, according to the players that I assigned, they heard that the guild that Harmless Sparrow build, the Blue Sky, is currently handling a negotiation on Bladeheart. As we speak, they are currently talking in the Lizardmen Village, a Hostile-Neutral Area," Panther Fang said.

Black Hue Waters stopped his work and looked serious.

"I want to also get contact with Bladeheart. I need to find a good way to communicate with him," Black Hue commanded in a stern voice.

"Yes sir," Panther Fang bowed once more and departed the room, leaving the guild leader lost in his thoughts.

...

On the other hand, I am busy doing a few transactions to Harmless Sparrow. She seemed impressed on the armors and weapons.

"I can't believe you can procure much equipment! However, nobody from us are currently eligible to wear and use them, they are still high leveled and cannot be equipped by us," Harmless Sparrow lamented.

I nodded. Indeed, what can you do if you earn them if you can't equip them? However, I have no intention selling them those things yet. The reason I am showing them these are for the future contact.

"Since no one can equip these items yet, I will just put them back to my inventory. Even if you buy these items, you might find another piece of equipment from the drops sooner or later and you might not need it," I said to them as I retrieve back all the items to me.

"No, in fact, I want to keep a contact on you. I want to invite you to our Guild, Blue Sky. With you here, we won't be worrying on obtaining items," Harmless Sparrow said.

I shook my head. Whatever they do, I can't break my vow to play solo. I am just using them as moneymaking individuals.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but for me, guild is a restraint to my free will. Sure, that they hold good perks but I can play without them. However, I can be your friend, let's exchange ID. This way, if you want to get pieces of Armor and Weapons on me, I can procure them with the right amount of money and description for me, the item is yours. Also, I know that there will be Guild Wars soon, if you want to have my service, pay me with my price though this service is only available in Guild Wars, not dungeon diving. Also, I can't be a member in your guild," I demanded.

Harmless Sparrow hesitated a bit but she gave in. She exchanged ID with me. And with that, one of my plans is set to motion. After my transaction with them, I casted Teleport once again and instead of returning to the inn, I teleported into the Headquarters. There, I saw Simona who is dozing off in the counter, when she sensed me, she woke up and fumed.

"Hey, I told you last time to go back here so that I can introduce you to a Blacksmith! You made a woman wait! That is not how a boy usually do, if you keep on doing this kind of behavior, you will not get any girlfriend!" Simona pouted.

Crap, I have been to busy about the dungeon and my future business that I have not returned to Simona so that she could introduce me to that blacksmith that she said that can repair the Pearlite Helm.

"I'm sorry! I am too busy looking for the trails of the dungeon boss that I have forgotten to show up last time!" I bowed down to her to show that I have been sorry.

"Mmm.. perform a dogeza in front of me," Simona grinned.

Ugh. In the end, I did a dogeza. Some of the players laughed seeing me perform a dogeza to an NPC. However, they don't understand. The NPCs are much more human to me than actual players. They can understand and help you unlike selfish players who only think on their own greed, though I am no different than them.

Simona laughed and tapped my shoulder.

"Stop that now, you are just making an embarrassment to yourself though you are unrecognizable due to your outfit, oh well, I don't care about your weird fashion sense though that is much better than the villager look you have in the past," Simona said.

"..."

"Don't worry about it, you have met already the blacksmith I was about to introduce to you anyway," Simona said.

"Huh? Does that mean..."

"Yeah, its Almira. I never expected that you already made a few business to her, oh well, you are an adventurer, of course you do," Simona pondered.

I see, Almira and Simona are friends. I did not know this in the past as they don't mention each other at all. That is why I thought that they have no connection to each other.

"Just show that Pearlite Helm scrap to her, she might be able to help you repair it," Simona said as she pulls out a few papers from her counter.

"Anyway, your timing is quite good. I found a clue on where that boss is currently. According to a farmer in Rosha Town, a few kilometers from the capital, their cemetery is currently emitting a dark energy and sometimes, ghouls can be seen wandering the place," Simona turned serious.

Rosha Town, its a small town and used as a pit stop for players who wanted to reach the dungeon, Alucard's Mansion. Rosha Town is also considered as the town that build the cemetery as big as a city. The Cemetery of Rosha Town is twice bigger than the actual Town. It was said that the reason they build it is for the war victims corpses are too many that the mayor in the past decided to build a cemetery to house all corpses to peace. However, it is no longer a cemetery for the dead, and the Headquarters assigned it to be called as a Hostile zone as the undead are respawning and popping out like mushrooms in the area without any signs of stopping. Looks like this is the beginning of the reason why the Rosha Town Cemetery is going to be a hostile zone.

"I should investigate the area then," I said to Simona.

"Before you go, present this letter to the mayor of the Rosha Town. They currently sealed the place so that no stray villager wanders and dies in the area. I know your strength so I don't worry about you entering there, besides, you are immortal," Simona snorted before handing out a letter to me.

"Headquarter's Letter of Introduction"

Quest Item

Description: Simona personally written the letter and asked you to present it to the Rosha Town Mayor, Bruno to explain the circumstances.

I put the letter and bid farewell to Simona. Its time to travel. I first notify Lily in the inn that I will be gone for a few days. Since I need to hunt the boss, I need to stay in the wilderness for quite a while.

Before I venture out, I need to find a mount. Usually, mounts are usually seen as Horses. However, horses can't fight except for kicking which is very lethal, they can't fight back. Moreover, you can't own your own horse here. You need to rent them. Rosha Town is quite far and to reach there, you need to pass a few hostile areas to reach the place. Walking will take you a few days to arrive there. The only solution to this is to tame a mount.

Tamer is a popular Ex Job but considered as a dangerous job too. Players bear the risk of getting beaten by the monster you are taming with. Taming them requires patience, perseverance and of course, the vitality to last the assault. All beast type monsters are tameable and can be considered pet or mount depending on its size. Pets contain less risks. Taming mounts do contain the extreme risks. Bosses in hostile areas as long as it is a beast type can be tamed.

Though Tamer can be learned by everyone, Hunters has the highest probability to succeed. Just like in Alchemy Practitioner that needs to be an Alchemist to excel, Tamer also excel a lot on a Hunter who takes the job as a tamer.

I looked at the skill panel of the Hunter and as expected, there is a passive learnable.

"Beast Whisperer"

Passive

Raises the chance to successfully tame a beast type monster at 40%.

Its a bias in class in the past and even me dreamed to tame my own beast mount. But due to the low probability to tame one, I have given up in the past. Now, however, I have a chance to fulfill it. I learned the skill and go to the market place. I bought 30 pieces of Taming Seal.

"Taming Seal"

Consumable

Description: Can be used to tame a beast type monster.

The reason I bought a lot of Taming Seal is due to the fact that I have already caught sight of a monster I am currently planning to tame. Its the Gryphon.

Gryphon are considered to be a holy beast. Many games already portrayed this beast as a monster with a head and wings of and eagle and a body of a lion that is covered with eagle feathers. I have considered it as I planned to have this gryphon as my lifelong mount, if I successfully tamed it.

Gryphon is the boss in the Mountain Cliff Hostile Area. Going there is easy and only needed a few trekking.

I travelled there via carriage. Of course, I will be only dropped in the bottom of the Mountain Cliff as it was really dangerous. When the carriage arrived, I didn't waste my time and made a trek to the familiar place. There is a shortcut in this place to avoid meeting any mobs and immediately challenge the boss.

I climbed the few slippery rocks and I struggled at first but I finally grabbed the chance to master it and in just a few minutes, I can properly scale the rocks without slipping off. It takes me 20 minutes to arrive on the mountain top without meeting a single mob. And as usual, the Gryphon is sleeping.

"Gryphon"

Level 50

HP: 150,000/150,000

Attributes: Wind, Beast

I need to beat the Gryphon first and let its HP to fall around 1,000 HP to tame it. Also, taming this monster needed a lot of Tamer Seal if you want to tame it.

I didn't let it notice me and quickly used Concealment II, Critical Aura, Berserk, and Absolute Defense before dashing to the boss by using Silent Sprint to close the gap. In an instant, I arrived in front of the Gryphon that has no idea that I was already there, ready to strike.

"Heart Stab!"

PENG!

-2,000

-Inflicting Bleed effect! Will lose 100 HP per second for 30 seconds!

SQUEAAAAAALLLLL!

The deafening scream of the Gryphon rang in my ears. I gritted my teeth and dashed backward. Gryphon's are quite strong in close combat and are hard to dodge. Though Gryphon can still attack you via long range magic, it is easy to dodge than the melee attacks. I changed my weapon into a bow and began shooting the Gryphon without stopping. The Gryphon did not allow me to keep on doing my barrage of attacks and made a comeback of wind tornadoes. I dodged a few but I can't really Dodge them all and gets damaged sometimes.

After 30 minutes of bitter battle, the Gryphon's HP fell to 1,000. The Gryphon is also getting tired. Its time to use the Tamer Seal.

Peng!

Taming... 1%... 40%... Failed!

While using the Tamer Seal, I did not stay in the same spot and began running around in circles.. I pulled out the fifth Tamer Seal but it still shows failed. My face is getting darker and darker as time pass by. My HP is already around 30% left.

I didn't stop doing so and continued to tame it. Its the 27th tamer seal but it still showed failed.

"Sh*t!" I cursed.

Looks like I will not be able to tame it. I only have 3 pieces of Tamer Seal left.

"Damn, its now or never!"

I pulled out the three tamer seal and use them at once.

Taming 1%... 50%.... 60%.... Failed!

Taming 1%...60% ... 80%.... Failed!

Taming 1%....60%.... 70%... 90%.... Success!

Congratulations to Player Bladeheart to be the first player to tame a monster!
