Before the beasts could get close to his position, a semi-transparent barrier formed from the ground to an area of forty to fifty feet above, and the beasts’ massive bodies directly smashed into it when they tried to get close to Bai Lang and the others.
The four men could then heave a sigh of relief when they could see how the Immortal Elder had managed to set up a barrier to restrict the beasts’ movement. They then silently stared at the beasts that continued to growl furiously after they were once again trapped in the barrier. They were no longer in the core area of the forest, but they were still trapped by another barrier, and that was why those beasts looked so angry when they couldn’t escape.
