Jumping up from the rubble and the numerous rocks that pressed down on his body his disfigured and incomplete body started regenerating in midair and with a mental nudge, he activated his rune and his figure which was like a child quickly squirmed changing to that of a pale teenager signifying the full activation of his rune and his seriousness.
It has been a few months since being in this plane and Damon's rune has parsed enough plane rules through his kin and numerous experiments and this had made him figure out that the only way to have enough combat power on the plane is to use his rune to have the characteristics of any of the four bending grandmasters that were his kin.

Damon using vampire's innate speed his inherited rune granted quickly disappeared leaving only an afterimage to be hit by Lin's attack, he appeared in the air close to Lin and then turned the sword into a whip of thin sharp blood lashing at Lin.
Lin perceiving the threat quickly leaned backwards making the whip hit the ground next to him while using his leg to kick towards Damon's position sending a quick slash of flames to the bloodsucker.
The slash hit Damon and he burst into a bloody fog that spread into the surroundings.
Lin seeing this was not happy with his seemingly successful attack and kept his guard up, he quickly heated the air again and formed another shield of hot air around him, sure enough, the fog perceiving this situation quickly congealed and formed an unharmed Damon who had a red metal spinning spear in his hand.
With a burst of speed moving faster than Lin ever expected he quickly appeared in front of the hot air shield and stabbed forward the spinning metal spear, the stab accurately hit a weak point in the shield and without slowing down and headed straight towards the slowly responding Lin.
Lin managed to turn his head sideways while sending a burst of flames that pushed Damon backwards while burning through his stomach.
Damon who was repelled and injured had a weird smile on his face as his stomach and innards started squirming together and healing, Lin who saw the smile noticed a shallow cut on his face, apparently he hadn't fully dodged the earlier attack.
Before he could figure out what was going on similar cuts appeared all over his body at the same time even his internal organs were not spared, Lin fell to his knees coughing blood.
Damon who saw his plan was effective had a brilliant smile on his face, in the previous attack he knew no matter how fast he was Lin would dodge the attack so he had used the ability of his earth bending kin to manipulate the metal in the blood to condense a spear which was wide enough to scratch Lin even if he dodged, and sure enough, Lin dodged, and with the scratch, Damon separated a minute bit of blood metal that would infect Lin's bloodstream, with that small piece of metal, he attacked Lin injuring him all over the body especially paying attention to Lin's internal organs.
Looking at the blood Lin spit out Damon could sense the metal filling in the blood on the ground.
Damon walked slowly and cautiously towards the knelling Lin and started igniting his own blood turning his pale skin rosy red, gaining extra speed and strength Damon disappeared breaking the sound barrier and punching toward Lin, Lin did not move and Damon's fist successfully penetrated his back breaking his spine and coming out again from his chest on the otherside incapacitating him.
Damon wanted Lin alive to absorb his blood and promote himself maybe catch a glimpse of the secret of domains, but unfortunately, his plan was doomed to be fruitless, Damon who wanted to remove his fist from Lin's back noticed it wasn't moving, Lin had held the fist back and had a crazy glint in his eyes.
Damon who just noticed this screamed 'bad' in his mind and before he knew it, Lin manifested his incomplete domain again transforming into a miniature sun illuminating the dark night once more.
