Chapter 40 Part 2: Unconvinced
‘Am I already on par with experienced Hunters?’
I made a little diagnosis myself, and realized that I still have a long way to go.

He called out the names of the groups he had prepared in advance. The paired Hunters took their places and moved on, but I didn’t hear my name until the end.

He finally said my name. When I looked at him, there was silence, as if he was contemplating for a moment.
“I’m going to exclude you from this match-up because I think if you compete with the other trainees there would likely be injuries.”
“Then what should I do?”
“You are free to act as you wish.”
With that, he went to check on the other trainees.
‘Is this okay?’
But I also think I was not on the same level as the other trainees. If Eun-Woo was here, I might be able to do something.
‘But, he’s no match with me in close combat, so if I can close the distance with my skills, I’ll definitely win.’
