The next morning Lu Lijun woke up.
”Finally awake, you careless young man,” Noah said as he entered the room of the suite as Lu Lijun was still there.
Lu Lijun sighed and closed his eyes. He knew this time he sure was so careless and he regretted it.
”No use of regret now. But I believe President Lu must have taken care of everything by now,” Noah said as he turned on the television inside the room.
Every news channel had the breaking news that the Han group was on the verge of collapsing and all their investors have pulled out the investments from the important projects. Even small ones were not ready to work with them. Over the night, the entire group went on the verge of bankruptcy and so many of their wrongdoings in the business were being exposed.
”This…” Lu Lijun was shocked.
”What do you think. Who can turn things upside down like this? Seems like President Lu is not going to spare them,” Noah added.
Lu Lijun didn’t know what to say and Noah said, “I have never seen a protective woman like her. You are one lucky man.”
”She is just good at carrying out her responsibilities in the best way possible. She only knows how to take revenge if someone tries to hurt her people and to keep the promises she has made to my brother,” Lu Lijun said as he stepped out of the bed and went to the bathroom.

Inside the isolated cottage, in the outskirts of the city, a middle-aged man was kneeling in front of the woman who was sitting on the high backrest chair as she stared at him devilishly.
”President Lu, it was a mistake from me. Please forgive us just this once,” the man pleaded.
Jiang Yuyan only stared at him while the man pleaded, “Please show some mercy. I have a young son and daughter….their lives….”
”You should be glad that I didn’t feed that drug to your daughter and threw her in some shitty brothel,” Jiang Yuyan interrupted him.
It made him shiver, “M-My Daughter, she had no idea about that drugged juice. She is innocent.”

The man only looked at her with his teary eyes, ‘No wonder everyone calls her a witch of the business world.’
As if Jiang Yuyan could see through him, she smirked, “You can curse me openly as much as you want so it can help you relieve your anger. But nothing will change.”

The entire business world was shaken by this overnight fall of the Han group and by now everyone knew it was President Lu who was behind it. But the question was, how the Han group had offended her. This woman was calm for the past few years and didn’t bother with what others did as long as it didn’t affect her family, she was back now with her extreme measures. Everyone was sure that Hans must have done something that had hurt her family. After this, everyone decided to never mess with the Lu family and their business which they were already following for so many years.
The thought came to them, ‘Lus are ruthless though they are known to be righteous and kind.’

Lu Lijun returned to the office with Noah where Jiang Yuyan was not present.
”Where is President Lu?” Lu Lijun asked the receptionist on their floor.
”President Lu has gone out just after she arrived at the office,” the receptionist replied.
Lu Lijun felt worried to think where she must have gone. Knowing the way his brother used to work in the past and then Jiang Yuyan followed the same path, he could not help but worry.
”Once she is back, let me know,” Lu Lijun instructed and went to his office as Noah followed him.
”You can calm down. I am sure President Lu knows what she is doing,” Noah suggested.
Just after that, there was another news of Lu industries and Choi group having one of the biggest projects together that would benefit both sides to a great extent.
”Choi group? Isn’t that Mr. Alex?” Noah asked as they saw the news.
Lu Lijun clenched his fists in anger and heard Noah again, “This project is surely so big and you are the one to handle it.”
”I never said yes,” Lu Lijun said under his gritted teeth, trying to control his anger.
”This is good for you when you will be the president,” Noah said as he could see why President Lu was doing all this.
”In her dreams. I will never sit on that chair and will never free her from here,” Lu Lijun said as he closed his eyes and leaned back in the chair.

”You should go and do your work,” Lu Lijun instructed as he was not in the mood to listen to anything.
Once Noah left, Lu Lijun turned his chair around, facing the window at his backside. He remembered how he ended up getting drugged.
When the hotel attendant brought juice and that girl went to the bathroom to clean the stain from her dress, Lu Lijun was busy thinking about Jiang Yuyan, more like he was angry at her.
When the hotel attendant offered him a juice, he accepted it while immersed in his own thoughts. Even when he started drinking it, all he had was Jiang Yuyan in his mind and he could not think about anything. After finishing half of the glass thoughtlessly, he started to feel uneasy. That girl came out of the bathroom and noticed he was feeling uneasy.
’Doesn’t seem like that girl had an idea either,’ he concluded. ‘What a pathetic family. They deserved what they got.’
Later Lu Lijun remembered the way she was angry at the girl. He had never seen Jiang Yuyan losing her temper like this except for that one time when in the past when a criminal just put a little scratch on him and she broke every bone in his body.
Lu Lijun remembered her anger filled furious eyes when she slapped that girl and even choked her with her bare hand. she looked like she possessed great strength despite having delicate physic.
After all this, his thoughts would end up in only one direction, ‘I wish, everything she had done was out of love for me as her man and not just as her responsibility. Why can’t she love me? Is it that difficult for her?’
