"They are healed now, but those scars…" she tried to talk so he would take it normally. But his calmness was surprising to her as she worried her.
Lu Lijun only observed them and said nothing. The mark moved from one side of her chest towards the same side of her back along her rib which didn't reach her entire back but Jiang Yuyan covered it and stopped him, "Don't look at it. Enough now."
The wounds were healed physically but they didn't heal in her mind. She was still suffering and what happened in her childhood had affected her greatly. Lu Lijun could feel she didn't trust herself or anything so easily. He was sure she still had nightmares because of what had messed up with her brain at such a young age when a kid deserves to get nothing but love and happiness.
Lu Lijun didn't insist as she didn't want him to see. He simply stood up and went to the wardrobe, "I'll get you clothes."
She held the quilt up to cover herself and looked at him who opened the wardrobe and was searching through her clothes. "Which dress would you like to wear?" he asked and went through all the dresses there. He pulled out one, "I think this one is good."
Jiang Yuyan looked at that wide neck dress and said, "Get something with a small or closed neck."
Lu Lijun pulled out another dress, "This one?"
She frowned, "It doesn't cover my shoulders. Nothing with thin straps."
He nodded and pulled out one more dress, "This will look really nice on you."
She frowned again, "You move aside. I'll find myself."
Lu Lijun quietly moved aside but heard her, "Turned around."
Lu Lijun did so and faced his back at her and his lips curved into an evil smirk.
Jiang Yuyan pushed the quilt aside and got the towel to wrap herself. She straightaway walked towards the wardrobe. She stood in front of the shelves of the wardrobe and searched for a perfect dress that could cover her shoulder and chest entirely.
But just then her back touched a warm chest of a man who stood behind her, and leaned over her, as his hands raised to search the clothes, "Let me again help you."
It startled her and she said, "Didn't I tell you to turn around."
"But you didn't tell me to stay like that only," he countered and moved even closer, trapping her between wardrobe shelves and himself.
'This guy…always takes the word for word,' she sighed. "I don't need your help."
"Fine. Then I will do whatever I want," he said.
Jiang Yuyan thought he would go away but this guy didn't move even an inch instead moved away her long brown gold open hair to one side of her shoulder.
Her body stiffened, "What are you doing?"
"Whatever I want," he replied and pecked on her bare shoulder.
"Lu Lijun, you already….."
"Already what?" he interrupted her and back hugged her while surrounding his hands around her stomach while his lips started working on the delicate skin on her shoulder.
She gulped, "I…need to get my clothes."
"I don't mind if you stay without clothes," he countered.
"Lu Lijun...."
"When you called me just Lijun, I sounded better. I can't forget that voice when you could not help but say my name with so much love..."
"You are being so shameless these days...," she frowned, which was suppressed by the seductive assault of his lips and teeth and she felt once more melting to his advances.
"I wish you to be shameless in front of me as well. Soon we will be doing everything that you won't be shy in front of me ever," he said and bit her gently.
"Ah..don't bite me…" she said, suppressing her moans.
"Fine," he said and his hands on her stomach moved to her chest and he pulled her towel down.
"You..bad guy…" she exclaimed angrily but Lu Lijun held her hands to stop her from holding her towel that fell on the ground. She felt angry but he said, "Stay still," and let go of her hands slowly and he took a step back, "Don't move," and held her at the end of her shoulders.
She didn't know what he was trying to do and stayed still while her hands covered her chest.
Lu Lijun observed her back and all he wanted to see was that mark that moved towards the side of her back from her chest and there was another mark on the other half of her back towards her elbow side. When he was observing her marks a while ago, she was reluctant and didn't let him see them on her back.
"What are you doing?" she asked hesitantly.
"I wish to see your beautiful back that you wouldn't let me so easily," he said with a flirty tone, not letting her know his true intentions.
"You are a pervert," she said angrily.
"For you, I can be anything," he said sweetly while his cold eyes glared at those marks.
No one would guess from his voice what his intentions were and how cold he was inside.
"Are you done?" she asked.
"Hmm," and he moved closer to her as his hands reached out to get his own clothes from the shelf, "I'll go freshen up. You can take your time getting ready."
Jiang Yuyan nodded, feeling relieved that he didn't do anything. But his behaviour confused her. One moment he was flirty the other moment he was normal and would listen to her.
'This guy is so unpredictable. I can understand anyone but him.'
Jiang Yuyan stood in front of the mirror as she observed her wounds first before wearing her dress. 'Everything would change but these marks will always be the same.'
She put on her dress and then blow dried her hair and later used her makeup to hide those marks which took her a long time. Having a satisfied look on her face that she hid those marks nicely she smiled at the memories from a while ago that caused her to have those marks she needed to hide.
