When Lu Lijun went upstairs after watching that video and spending some time in silence, he saw Jiang Yuyan was sleeping. He went to her side of the bed as he wished to be with her when she was distressed.
Just as he saw her face, he saw it was sweaty and she had frowned lines on her forehead. She had clutched the quilt tightly in her hands as if she was in pain and was mumbling something so lightly that he could not hear.
Lu Lijun hurried to her, "Yuyan, what happened?"
"Let go of me," she screamed loudly and Lu Lijun stepped back in shock.
"Go away," she shouted again. Didn't even bother to open her eyes. She curled into a ball like hiding herself with her eyes shut tightly and continued saying, "Go away. Don't touch me."
Lu Lijun didn't know what to do. She had nightmares even before but she never acted like this. He was scared to think about what he should do now.
He wanted to go to her and let her know it was him, "Yuyan…"
"Go away. Don't come closer. Go away."
Just then Jiang Yang entered the room and saw what was going on. She was in bed while Lu Lijun was standing by the bed not knowing what to do.
Jiang Yang straight went to her and sat at the edge of the bed and held her hand, "Yuyan, don't worry. Brother is here."
Hearing it, she opened her teary eyes to look at her brother and immediately started crying, "B-Brother…"
Jiang Yang helped her sit and hugged her, "Don't worry. I am here. Nothing happened."
Jiang Yuyan hugged her brother tightly as if he was her saviour and continued crying like a little girl while burying her face in his chest.
"B-Brother… they are here…" she managed to speak between her cries and sobs.
Lu Lijun gripped his fists as those two were the reason to make her like this. She was so scared and lost that she could not even recognise him.
"Brother will take care of it. Don't worry," Jiang Yang assured her and continued hugging her and caressing her head gently.
"Take me away from here… They are here…" she didn't stop crying and sobs were making it difficult for her to speak.
"No one can hurt you. Don't worry. They can't come here," he assured, "I will get you water."
"No..Don't leave me, please..Brother...Stay with me…" she held on to him tightly to not let him go.
"I am with you always," Jiang Yang replied to comfort her.
Lu Lijun, who was standing there feeling helpless that he could not do anything, went to the side table and fetched wanted for her.
"Here," he said.
Jiang Yang accepted it while Jiang Yuyan realized it was Lu Lijun's voice and didn't dare look at him.
"I will be downstairs," Lu Lijun said and left as he knew she needed her brother at the moment and didn't wish to be a bother to her.
Others who had run upstairs to see what happened, stood quietly by the door and left once they saw Jiang Yuyan was calm.
Lu Feng placed his hand on Lu Lijun's shoulder, "You must have been startled."
Lu Lijun nodded.
"When she was like this in the past, Jiang Yang was the only one she ever allowed to be by her side and she is still used to it…"
"I understand brother. Nothing matters as long as she is fine and feels better with her brother," Lu Lijun spoke and looked at Jake and Noah. The two understood the meaning of his gaze and followed him.
Lu Feng looked at Lu Lijun who was leaving, "Now I feel worried for them."
"You should be. Just when we thought everything between the two was fine, this happened for nothing," Xiao Min said.
"It's fine. Let him see all her sides and weaknesses and suffering. It might help strengthen their relationship and Yuyan will trust him as much as she trusted Lu Qiang."

After Lu Lijun left. Jiang Yuyan slowly got back to her senses and looked at the closed door of the room from where Lu Lijun had left.
"Did he see everything?" she asked.
"He was here before I arrived," he replied.
The realization hit her and she looked at her brother with her teary and swollen eyes, "Did I shout at him thinking he..."
"He understands. Don't worry," Jiang Yang consoled her, knowing what she had in her mind.
She buried her face back in his chest and started crying, "It must have hurt him. How could I not recognise him?"
"It's fine. I told you he understands."
Jiang Yuyan remembered his shocked face that she saw just for a split second when she shouted at him and then curled herself in bed.
He must have felt bad about the way she reacted to him. She asked him to go away and not to touch her. She thought of him as a stranger. He loves and it must have really hurt him.
Jiang Yang offered her water. "Have it first. He got it for you."
Jiang Yuyan had a few sips of water and turned calm a little.
"Brother…"
"Hmm?"
"I don't know how to face him now. I always knew I was a bad choice for me and tried to stay away from him. I thought everything was fine with me and I can….but seems like I was wrong. With me, he will only face these issues just like how Lu Qiang did."
"These are not troubles or any issue for them. Just like me, they love you and feel responsible towards you. Whatever you face, they will only want to be by your side and get you out of it. This is what the person who loves you should do. Lu Qiang did it and Lu Lijun knows what he is doing. And you are fortunate to have such a person once again in your life. Don't even think about pushing him away."
"I can't be just a liability to him. I am a weak person to be by his side. You know well that this will not end with today only. These nightmares will continue and I don't want him to go through what he had to face today. I don't want him to see me like this and I can't let myself hurt him."
"Yuyan…."
"This is the last chance for me to go away from him. If I stay, I won't be. I don't want to keep hurting him."

"Be patient. Nothing is there that can not be solved. Give yourself and him a little time. Don't take an abrupt decision of leaving him. Trust me, everything will be fine."
She looked at him, "I don't want to leave him either…I…." she stopped.
"I know," Jiang Yang understood what his sister couldn't say."
