When Nixxxie took Jiang Yuyan to the washroom inside the university, the bodyguard followed them as it was his job to do so, though he stood up somewhere far away.
He offered to take them to the hospital and as Nixxxie knew he was Jiang Yuyan's bodyguard, she agreed right away. Moreover, Nixxxie didn't have her car.
Before getting them to the hospital, the bodyguard already passed the message to Lu Qiang. As he was the personal bodyguard of Jiang Yuyan, he had been instructed to report anything related to Jiang Yuyan directly to Lu Qiang.
Not waiting for a moment, Lu Qiang left to go to the hospital.
When they reached home, it surprised the family members who were available home at the moment, the elder couple and Ning Jiahui. It was just past lunchtime and they were in the living room.
"How come you both are back early today?" Ning Jiahui asked, sensing Jiang Yuyan didn't look good.
"She was not feeling well suddenly. Let me take her to the room to get rest.''
Answering just this much, Lu Qiang took Jiang Yuyan upstairs. As she looked weak, Lu Qiang carried her in his arms while his mother and elders waited for Lu Qiang to come back.
"I can walk, Lu Qiang," Jiang Yuyan said and he didn't reply, which made her keep quiet.
Settling her on the bed, Lu Qiang gave her medicines and instructed, "You are not allowed to step out of the bed unless it is necessary."
He looked serious with the worry he felt for her and she didn't have any other option but to obey him whenever he turned into his cold form.
Lu Qiang informed his mother about everything by calling her on the cellphone, not willing to leave his wife for a single moment. Along with Ning Jiahui, the elders heard it too as she turned her mobile on speaker mode for them to listen.
Once the call was cut, these three looked at each other with something going in their minds and elder Lu asked, "Can it be like my dream will turn into a reality?"
Hearing it, both women smiled and Ning Jiahui replied, "We can't be sure yet. Let the reports be out first, father." The elders agreed.
After making sure Jiang Yuyan ate properly and putting her to sleep, Lu Qiang decided to work from home while keeping eyes on his woman.
In the evening, Jiang Yang came to visit his sister along with Nixxxie, just to check on his sister. They spent some time in the room with Jiang Yuyan and decided to leave.
"We will take a leave now," Jiang Yang instructed and Lu Qiang nodded.
"Won't you come downstairs to say bye to your best friend?" Jiang Yang asked.
"Your sister is more important for me than you," Lu Qiang replied coldly.
"Lu Qiang, you have been in the room since we came here. Go out for a while. I am fine here," Jiang Yuyan instructed.
"But,...."
"No, but, he is not just your friend but also my brother."
Lu Qiang didn't argue with her and got up from the couch while Nixxxie said, "I need a few minutes with Yuyan."
Agreeing, both men went out and Nixxxie pulled out one white envelope from her bag, which had the hospital's name written on it.
Offering the envelope to her, Nixxxie said, "Your brother asked me to give it to you."
Accepting the envelop, she asked, "My reports?"
"Hmm!"
"Why didn't brother give it to Lu Qiang? Is there something really serious with me?" It worried Jiang Yuyan.
Agreeing to her, Nixxxie instructed. "Hmm! I will take a leave now. Take care."
Jiang Yuyan opened the envelope and it left her eyes wide open in a shock. "How can this be?"
Getting out of the bed with her cellphone in hands, she went to the gallery to see if her brother left or not. In a while she saw her brother's car leaving the mansion and dialed his number to talk to him.
Seeing Jiang Yuyan's number on the cellphone screen, Jiang Yang smiled, "As expected."
He pressed one button in the car to receive the call and before he could say anything, Jiang Yuyan spoke, "Brother, what is this?"
"Why are you asking me? It is the result of what you and your husband did." Jiang Yang got back at her.
"No, I mean is this the truth?" she asked again, looking at the reports in her hands.
"Well, for me, I find those reports genuine and it made me happy as I will be promoted to an uncle soon."
Jiang Yuyan ignored the happiness her brother felt and spoke, "Brother, I am serious here. I mean what….."
"What kind of 'what' it is?" Jiang Yang asked and it confused his sister. "What do you mean, brother?"
"There are two types of 'What'. One, when we say 'what' and then jump with happiness and excitement while the second one is, when we say 'what' followed by 'what the hell! So tell me which one is this."
