Michael angrily stood before me and blocked my view of the Luna’s tears.

We walked around a corner and up the stairs to a small attic.
I was hesitating in front of the door when it opened from the inside.
A pale Alison walked out. She looked worse than the last time. She had lost weight in a short time, and her hair hung listlessly on her shoulders. It was obvious that she had not been tended to for a long time and had lost her beautiful color and luster. Her skin had become rough, and there were stains on her clothes. She was a completely different person from the high school belle.
She also looked up at me, and I saw the fire in her eyes. She roared at me, “What are you doing here?!”
