"There are so many people."

Shiro looked at the sea of crowds in the streets. Many stalls are present beside it, with different kinds of ancient races present. Supposedly, only Kurantas are present in this capital city, but this week is a special one for Kazimierz.

"The majors will be held this week." Cardinal said before adjusting her librarian hat. "There are many opportunities present at this time, so these guys swarmed here like flies. Just like what the government wanted to."

The majors are not only a simple knight tournament. Aside from betting, many talents would also be discovered. These talents are the target of headhunters—companies, enterprises, mercenary groups, and so on. With this and the 'uniqueness' of the event, Kazimierz transformed the 'Majors' into their trademark, one that boosts their country's economy and development.

"Right. About those 'strange creatures... How long are they targeting you?" Shiro asked.

"Those things... I've heard from Doctor Kal'tsit that they're [Demons]." She paused before continuing, "The first time I encountered them is when I went to Sargon to open our branch there."

"Sargon? Are they all on fire?"

"Mn. I recalled what you've said about 'Foehn Hotlands' when I saw them."

In Sargon's history, it was detailed that the Kahagans once fought incomprehensible 'Monsters' in that place. They could quickly contaminate their surroundings with black smog; it spread swiftly and uncontrolled. What's more, the ones taken over by it soon become a 'Monster', too.

Though they have another peculiarity—they become stronger as more people know them. Hence, the leading Khaganate at that time decisively brought their full power to force those monsters to retreat.

"They are outer gods. The one in the myths." He said. "I saw one staring right at this planet, beyond the starry skies of Terra."

"Outer gods..."

They continued talking within their soundproof barrier until they arrived in front of a cafe. Upon entering it, they saw many people present. Fortunately, Shiro saw an empty seat in this place, thus he pulled Cardinal into this shop.

"Take that seat over there." Shiro pointed out. "I'll go buy something. What do you like?"

"Anything... I want a coffee, though."

"Alright... You became a caffeine addict, I see."

Cardinal froze slightly as she heard this. She realized that she instinctively unleashed her habit, which is to drink a cup of coffee every morning, afternoon, and midnight.

After discovering that coffee's taste, her all-time favorite, tea, was replaced by it.

Recovering from it, she soon arrived at the empty table. It is a seat for two right beside the window.

'It's that spot...' She thought. 'The perfect dating spot..?'

As someone who consumed thousands of anime-related materials, she is very familiar with otaku knowledge. In fact, she had surpassed everyone in the chat group when it comes to ACG. While she doesn't know everything, she's the one who answers the new members' origins the most.

(A/N: Animation, Comics, and Games.)

It even earned her the title "ACG Emperor" internally. As to whether someone calls her using that... they'll have to face her wrath first.

After sitting, her eyes were drawn to the prosperous scene outside. People from various races are conversing happily while some children as holding the figurines of their favorite knights and made them fight each other.

If not for the fact that she'd personally seen the Infected settlement, she would think that this country is different than the rest. Sadly, it wasn't... nor it will ever be.

Albeit, that was in the past. With their help, 'everyone' would be truly happy...

"Ahm."

Suddenly, Cardinal saw a five-story-tall burger in the corner of her sight. A gray-haired Kuranta sliced it in quarters before eating a fourth of it. It all happened in less than 10 seconds, showing the peculiarity of the Kuranta.

'Police?'

Her eyes drifted to the 'POLICE' armband that the female Kuranta has. Since she's been in this world for more than half a year, she learned much knowledge regarding it, including the languages of each Terran country.

Coincidentally, some languages overlapped with what she knew in the SAO world. The Victorian language is one of those.

It possessed many similarities with English, but its accent is more richer than the latter. Simply put, it's like the Japanese pitch system and the English language were combined into one.

'How rare it is for a Victorian to drift here.' She mused. 'The political affairs there are very headache-inducing.'

As a new company, they have limited manpower. They still couldn't handle the countries with complex political environments, choosing the simpler ones over them instead. Unless they have absolute power, they wouldn't touch countries such as Kazdel, Ursus, and Victoria.

Though, it will be different starting now.

"Mn..?"

After eating the second stack, the Victorian Kuranta noticed Cardinal's sight on her for a while. She was about to say hello to another fellow who came here alone, but she did not expect to see a Sankta walking over there with a tray in his hands.

For a moment, her eyes were glued to his appearance.

'Very handsome...'

He is very handsome to the point that his appearance caused an incongruency with the real world—like a beautiful artwork over a blurred canvas.

The Kuranta, Grani, paid attention to the Sankta too much that she forgot what she's been doing for a few seconds. Only when she blinked her eyes did she snap out of her daze.

"Ah."

Unfortunately, her eyes met his. That ethereal and mysterious pair of amber pupils caught her attention this time around.

Seeing this, Shiro knew that the lethality of his charm hits someone yet again. Moreover, he had fully controlled his [Six Eyes], so he doesn't use the [Blindfold] nor the [Special Sunglasses] anymore except for some occasions.

"Here's your coffee and strawberry waffle."

Shiro began placing their orders. Cardinal's order is more of a breakfast while his is an ice-cold bubble tea. Shiro ate breakfast in Emiya's moments before he went here, so he's not that hungry.

He saw Cardinal touching the sides of the cup and taking a sip out of it. He then heard her mumble:

"It's... not bad."

"We've been lucky today."

"Your ridiculous luck." Cardinal commented. "Anyways, why don't you tell me your experiences during the time you were gone?"

"Experiences? There shouldn't be that many..."

Shiro began narrating his experiences starting from their arrival in the Fate world up to the end of the 5th Grail War.

"You ended up in Caster's Temple? At least you have your students with you...."

"Cooking that became a mini holy grail? I expected it..."

"So she found you by herself..."

After all of this, nearly an hour and a half had passed.

"Shiro."

Cardinal spoke with a serious face.

"Mn?"

"Will... Will you accept someone else as a wife?"

Unexpectedly, this question appeared much sooner than he had expected...

*****

A/N: I'm finally done watching the anime for the next world. Man, I swear I thought that the characters there has [Blind Stupidity] (LoTM skill that lowers IQ) in some moments. Also, Kal'tsit would have a competition there. It's up to y'all to guess as to what competition it is:)

PS: The introduction to Outer Gods is decided by me mainly due to this world; their main foe is made to be "ridiculous". This spikes up the difficulty of their next mission...
