The girl breathed erratically as her perception told of her death. The unavoidable power inches away from her, one that sought to obliterate her consciousness, suddenly disappeared from her sight. Upon opening her eyes, she found herself in what is presumed to be a stadium. It is badly damaged due to some foreign elements, which she presumes to be caused by the man in front of her.

"Hello miss, you're finally awake. Trying to cross the border of life, aren't you?"

"I... That's right?" She spouted a few words subconsciously. "Where am I?"

"How should I say this... You are currently in Kazimierz."

"The knight country?"

During her time, Kazimierz already existed. It is a country that was ruled by the "knights", with "squires" as their subordinates. They valued honor and dignity that not one of them was willing to go down without a fight.

"Right... It's the same knight country, but in the future."

"What?"

The confusion that was about to subside appeared once again. Her mind blanked out, unable to comprehend the things that happened to her in a short period. She was about to die, but she was saved by a mysterious man. Then, she found out that the said man traversed through time from the distant future.

Fortunately, her experiences as the head priestess helped greatly at this time. Her exposure to the mystics made her more open-minded to what others would deem as shocking.

"So I died." The first thing that she realized is her death. Her deer ears moved slightly before returning to normal. "For someone to change history like this..."

Hearing this, Shiro cut her off, "It's not as troublesome as you think. You're dead for a long time now so all that's changed is your survival."

From the moment she died, it became impossible for her to influence the world directly as no actions were acted upon by her at that time. This means that her influence from her death up until now is zero, which made it easier for Shiro to shoulder the costs of her revival. If what he fished out is her self during the moments she was actively interacting with the world, the said burden would be larger.

"I understand. Still, your power is comparable to the sleeping deities in 'that' place."

"Sleeping?" Shiro asked.

"Un. Only the Feranmuts are active goods in this world. For those who are slumbering to recover their power, they are in a certain place that priestesses form a connection with."

"I see." He nodded. "We should get out of here first, no?"

Wordlessly, the priestess followed Shiro's footsteps, leaving behind a ruined place. Though, the latter left a gift to Kazimierz before he did so.

A bright white pillar of light descended into the stadium before splitting into countless smaller pieces. Some of them headed to the silver-eyed Terrans while the others chose a character worthy enough of possessing power.

...

"I want to help others."

Looking down at the city from below, the nine-tailed little girl could not help but mutter. Inside this city full of conflicts, there is no shortage of people being harmed. Even, some civilians lose their property as collateral damage in a fight. Deaths were also aplenty, but her mother shielded her eyes away from them, leading to the young girl retaining her innocence regarding many things.

Although, she had also seen deaths occur personally—it is unavoidable as she lived in Siracusa, the place where the mafioso dealt with murders on a daily basis. It is a miracle that she grew up to be like this in what others call a "god-forsaken place".

"What's this?" She mumbled as she saw a ray of moonlight touching her fingers. The light seemed gentle and pure, something different from her sacred light yet bearing some similarities at the same time.

Inadvertently, she looked at the skies. She recalled how the moon was supposed to be not visible due to the clouds, but it is visible in her eyes.

A pure moon that shone so brightly, one unsullied by any external concept. Looking at it made her feel serenity and joy for unknown reasons.

"So beautiful..."

...

"Stay back. Let me deal with this."

Screech-!

A blade sheathed for years was drawn at this moment. A golden glow enveloped the silver blade, symbolizing the light held by the Kuranta man deep within his heart. Who did not long to become a chivalrous knight as a child?

Only, the circumstances did not allow him to fulfill that dream. It pushed him to be more practical and radical, throwing away what little was left in his "knight's dignity".

"A Pegasi knight. Why is he attacking the innocents?"

"Uncle Mlynar, I will help."

Immediately, Mylar declined and said, "You cannot handle this. Your fights in the Major are nothing compared to him."

A crescent aura left his blade and hit the Pegasi Knight, sending him back by a few dozen feet. If Shiro saw this, he would wonder why Kiritsugu is wielding Saber's Excalibur. Their dead dreams alone are a huge semblance between the two!

Just as he had finished sending out half a dozen "mana blasts", he saw the knight pause as moonlight descended right into his place. Surprisingly, another ray of moonlight curved and bumped into Mlynar and Maria Nearl.

"This is..."

Mlynar's mind inexplicably calmed down. His worries about the survival of their Knight Family dissipated as he now have the time to think more about himself...

...

Peace.

For the first time, Skadi felt nothing but tranquility after the disappearance of the continuous whispers in her ears. She finally stopped hearing "Ishar-mla", her name forced upon her by the Sea God that she had slain. Countless times did Skadi wish for them to stop. Alas, the persistent will of the sea-borns was brought along by her... until now.

Rays of moonlight gently cascaded along her matching silver hair. As if aware that it is something extraordinary, her deep scarlet eyes landed at a certain place—Kazimierz. Beyond what she could see, there existed a man who took back what belongs to the world. At the same time, he gave back her long-desired freedom.

"Thank you."

...

[You have gained the authority of [Moon].]

[You are now the Moon God in this world. A divine kingdom is now available to you.]

[The world favors you. By reclaiming the Moon from an [Outer God], it regained its true form and connection with the world.]

[Your influence in Terra has greatly increased!]

[The hidden quest [Miracle Maker] has been completed.]

[The hidden quest [Playing with Fate] has been completed.]

[The quest [Repelling the Foreigner] has been completed.]

Many prompt simultaneously popped in front of Shiro's sight. It showcased the influence that he had right now in this despair-stricken world, and how he changed it for the better.

"I can finally rest for now..." Shiro mumbled.

Beep-!

Unfortunately for him, another prompt came from the chat group panel.

[EMERGENCY QUEST: Collision of Worlds]

"...Fuck."

*****

A/N: This signifies the end of Arknights arc. We're now back to anime worlds! I think that you might have seen this one. One hint of mine would be... Kal'tsit has a competition here. In terms of word count, that is. Can you guess what it is? It'll be revealed in the next chapter due to how obvious the hints would be.

Anyways, here's the fact of the day!

Fact #92: Hiroyuki Sawano, the composer for iconic osts of Attack on Titan, Guilty Crown, and Unicorn Gundam is now working for the ost of Fate/Strange Fake. That's why I felt more hype when the end of the trailer (The Enuma Elish Clash) since he's one of the composers that I like! Also, he worked for the OST of the incoming next world.
