I took a look at my current status.

“Hmm?”
In addition to the Abnormal status being cured the base values also rose as well.
“Whats wrong Nito?”
Toa asked.
“Its nothing.”
I’m not sure why it was cured but something inside me must have changed.
The images surrounding us suddenly changed.
“There!”
Toa pointed in some direction as she said this.
“What, is that?”
It a world that was white 360 degrees around us in one direction was fog.
“It looks like something is coming!”
Nem was squinting, and as she said this a house appeared not all that far away.
“What is that, a building?”
Sufilia was confused but I knew exactly what it was.
“Its my house.”
It was where I lived during my time in Japan.
“Lets go.”
I called everyone forward with me.
“Its probably the next stage.”
We began walking whenー
Our entire surroundings suddenly turned into a residential area. A warm breeze, the cawing of crows and the sight of the setting sun which I hated so much.
The others were surprised and curious about the changing landscape, but for me it was unchanging and boring.
“This is Japan, the world where I lived.”
The three of them looked at the unusual style houses.
“It looks…. Kind of bland.”
“…..doesn’t it?”
After the school Toa didn’t seem to have much interest in this place either.
“Lets go.”
The place we needed to go was my house, I felt something strange coming from there.
“Hey, do you feel something coming from that house?”
I checked with the other three just in case.
“Hmmm, I don’t feel anything?”
Toa said.
“What about you Nem?”
“Nem doesn’t know.”
Nem was tilting her head to the side.
“And Sufilia?”
Sufilia stared at the house for a while.
“I don’t feel anything.”
Sufilia didn’t know either.
Whatever it was, it was different from magical power, it felt horrifying. I led the three of them up to the house that I haven’t been back to for a while. We stopped at the outer gate and I pressed the button on the intercom system.
“What did you do?”
When Toa asked I explained the intercom system to her.
“Does it use magic? ”
“Magic? No way, it uses electricity.”
“Electricity? Like lightning attribute magic?”
“Uuuh, yeah close enough.”
I don’t know how to explain it properly but she seemed to more or less understand so it’s fine.
“No answer.”
The sound the intercom made was faint but I could still here it. However no one came out and there was no reaction.
“What is this..”
I opened the gate.
“Lets go in for now… it’s my house anyway.”
The three of them followed me to the front door, I turned the handle and pulled it open. It was unlocked..
“Its open….”
I looked through the opening. No shoes were at the entrance, there were stairs and a hallway leading to the living room where the sound of static could be heard.
“Ok, lets go inside?”
I whispered to the three behind me, I wonder why I was being so careful when entering my own house? Out of habit I took off my shoes to enter and watched as the others did the same but I didn’t say anything.
“There.”
I held my finger in front of my lips telling them to be quiet and pointed towards the living room. The presence I felt from outside was even stronger in that room.
I went down the hallway and pushed open the door, the first thing that caught my eye was the TV that had been left on. It explained the noise, I went inside and looked around but noone was there. Yet something still felt wrong. A number of beers were lined up on the table along with empty snack bags. Was there someone here after all?
It’s exactly like my house but it’s also a dungeon. Is there a monster? Although the other three don’t seem to notice anything.
“It doesn’t seem to be here.”
“What have you been searching for?”
Toa asked.
“I’ve been feeling something strange since earlier.”
“Something strange?”
“Yeah, do you guys not feel it?”
But their answers where the same as 5he first time I asked.
“Didn’t you ask the same thing earlier? ”
“Yeah, I’m worried since I’m the only one thst can feel it. It might be something even more dangerous than the doppler so you 3 stick close to me.”
“Ok!”
“Understood.”
“I’ll follow you.”
We left the living room and went back out into the hall.
“The washroom?”
The feeling seemed to be coming from the entire house. I opened the washroom door and looked inside.
“Empty.”
There were signs of life there tho, crumpled towels were in the laundry basket. I went to head upstairs with the other three behind me.
“Oh, I didn’t look in the toilet.”
I’d passed by the toilet thinking no one would be there. I turned to the side and squeezed past the other three, then with one hand I threw the door open.
“Huh?”
I was at a loss loss words.
“Huh?”
We all sounded stupid in that moment as we stared at something that had huge horns around it’s head and sat cramped on the toilet bowl. It looked like a large demon.
“…….”
Other than the twisted horns, the pointed ears, and the absurd size of it, it looked human.
“Uuuooooh!”
Without thinking I let out a very late sound of surprise.
“Gyaaaaaa!”
The toilet demon was surprised by my shout and let out a shout of its own. Then surprised by it shouting I shouted again causing it to do the same all over again.
“Shut up!”
The demon was just as scared of me as I was of it. Causing it to scream even more.
“Aaaaaaaaa! Aaaaaa! Au? …….master?”
The demon suddenly calmed down.
“Huh?”
Master?…… that was the first actual words thst came out of the demons mouth.
