“Hence being the guilty party, you have to atone for your deed. It’s a long night, and I need a cat for company.”

His heart raced. In the end, wearing the pet suit that Fu Sichen sewed, the Persian cat fell asleep on the bed.
After a bath, the dashingly handsome Fu Sichen too plonked himself onto the bed.
The only light on was the little lamp at the head of the bed. It cast a warm orange glow.

It was already uncomfortable for Pei Zhen to be sharing a bed with Fu Sichen. He had spent a long time preparing himself psychologically for it, and had planned to shut his eyes and sleep till daylight!
