Pei Zhen was woken up by a kiss.
The moist kiss was tingling, and Pei Zhen gave a soft moan and felt his face heating up and flushing.
Fu Sichen laughed and said, “Pei Pei, time to wake up.”
“Huh?” Forced out of his sleep, Pei Zhen was in a blurry state, and he squinted his beautifully misty eyes. “We’ve arrived?”
Fu Sichen nodded. He lowered his head, looked at Pei Zhen in the eyes, and couldn’t help but kiss him again.
The two men were lovey-dovey and kissed in the car for a while until Pei Zhen’s sleep dissipated, and they heard the door open. The sound caused them to jump and untangle themselves from each other.
“Is that Pei Zhen?” A pretty middle-aged woman walked out, hurrying forward when she recognized Fu Sichen’s car. “My Diao Diao!”
Fu Sichen was stumped speechless, as was Pei Zhen.
No one would have dared to give Pei Zhen such a ridiculous nickname as ‘Diao Diao’, except for his Condor Heroes parents.
Pei Zhen’s heart jumped for joy at the surprise, and he quickly rolled down the car window to take a good look at the woman.
“Mum?!”
The woman on the other side of the car window had the same eyes as Pei Zhen. She was extremely excited as she called out again, “My little Diao Diao!”
Silence.
Great. With a shout of the ridiculous nickname, the joy of the moment suddenly seemed to have halved. Worse still, Fu Sichen was present. Pei Zhen took a backward glance and turned red when he saw that Fu Sichen was laughing.
“Mum!” He glared at his mother helplessly. Still, it was hard to hide his excitement as he got out of the car and gave his mother a big hug. “You’re back!”
Even though the Little Brat Pei looked like a thoughtless nitwit, he was one who yearned for affection deep inside.
He hadn’t seen his mother for ages, and the joy of seeing her was quite emotional. There was dampness around his eyes that was rarely seen. “Mum, you’re finally home.”
Hearing her son say the words ‘finally home’, Pei Zhen’s mother felt a pang of guilt. “Pei Pei, I… we… we’re sorry…”
