Chapter 237: Could It Be Him?

Han Xiaowen sped her car to the factory from where many explosions seemed to be happening.
But what caught her attention the most was the transparent ball which seemed to have been thrown out of the factory right after the explosions started.
Her eyes were wide open as she saw that the figure in the ball was a man and the other were small children.
She felt her heart had stopped in her throat.
She pushed the gas pedal as much as she could and arrived near the ruins in no time.
As soon as she stopped the car the smoke and enveloped everything in the vicinity around them, with the arrival of her car though some of it had been cleared up, soon more of it started to arise from the other burning materials.
"COUGH COUGH"
She coughed as the smoke was too much for her while she looked around in search of the man and the children.
She knew that she had not mistaken anything, it was indeed a man and 8 more kids who were floating within the ball, it looked as if there was no gravity.
She took her handkerchief and held it on her mouth as she continued to search for the people.
She couldn't think that they might have been dead or something since she had seen that they seemed to be protected by the glass-like sphere around them.
"Could it be him?"
She suddenly mumbled in a daze as a figure clouded her mind.
Her heart skipped a beat as she continued to search around in worry.
Though it was only thought she could not deny the fact that according to her only that man had the ability to do something quite fascinating like this.
Subconsciously she prayed that the man would be the same whom she had met yesterday but also she didn't want it to be the same man, her thoughts were really completely opposite.
She wanted to meet the man, but she also didn't want him to get hurt.
She thought that even if he was powerful and magical there was a slight chance that he would not be able in a good condition after facing so many explosions in a go.
Meanwhile, she continued to search for them even after having such contradicting thoughts.

As the destruction of the factory happened in the outskirts of the city.
A man in a Volkswagen drove by the Ping Yuen river which was a few kilometres away from the Star City.
The Ping Yuen river was very big and so there were many boats and small ships which would carry huge carriages.
The car was parked and a man in thick clothes walked out while holding a small case.
The man looked around and then turned to a small-sized boat and started to walk towards it.
"So everything is ready?"
The man in thick clothes asked as he took out a cigarette off his pocket and held it between his fingers.
"Hmm."
The man standing on the hatch of the boat nodded as he went to the seat and started the engine of the boat.
"PUFF"
The man in thick clothes was obviously the Boss of the organization.
He rushed out as soon as he started the timer on the detonators and did not even wait for the explosion to happen.
By the time the factory was turned into ruins he was almost near the Ping Yuen river.
He wasn't worried about the man would be even alive or not, all he wanted was to run away from the country as quickly as possible.
He couldn't even go to another city and start anew, there were bound to be many people in search of him if he were to go to any other city, so his only option was to go to some other country with illegal means.
He had already contacted a few of his acquaintances and had planned everything out.
He knew that the men who were backing his organization will for sure try to search for him, so to run away was the only thing he could do.
He jumped into the boat as the man started it.
"GRRRR"
The boat started with a loud road in the silent night which made many of the birds who were sleeping soundly on the trees on the bank of the river awake.
Soon he was far away from the dock and all one could see was the small boat rushing with high speed towards Shenzhen Bay also called the Deep Bay.
While the boat sped up even more since the river was more wide, the man turned back with a sneer.
The direction where he was looking was towards the abandoned factory, one could even see the cloud of smoke rising up in the air with the light of the fire around it.
As he sneered within his eyes there was a faint spark that pulsated.
"ARGHHH"
He roared in pain as he went on his knees and tightly placed his hand.
He wailed in pain as he felt as if his eyes were getting pierced by several needles.
"Are you fine?"
The driver turned his attention to him as he slowed the boat and asked the man who suddenly roared.
He was frightened after hearing his roar and would have almost hit the boat by the banks before if he hadn't controlled it properly.
"No nothing is fine."
"F*ck"
The man wailed as he cursed and continued.
"You drive fast; I need to get there quick."
He groaned in pain while his other eye was glaring at the driver with killing intent.
The driver shivered and nodded in fright.
"GRRRR"
The boat started again as the man continued to curse and roar in pain.
But soon the pain stopped while his body twitched uncontrollably.
Soon he was back to normal but the recollection of the tremendous pain caused his fine hair to stand up.
Meanwhile, the small spark continued to stay within his eye but went dormant again.
