Chapter 349: My Nearsightedness Is Gone!

Yuan Meng was crying in Ye Qian's embrace.
"Ahu... ahu...I almost felt that I would leave you all of a sudden."

"What if they think I was bullying my Mengmeng, and they bring men to teach me a lesson?"
Ye Qian tried to console her while teasing her lightly, trying to make Yuan Meng's mood light, to stop her from crying.
"You idiot, stop saying that, you don't know how bad it felt."
Yuan Meng hit him a few times in his arms while hiding her head in his chest.

You can say that I don't know how it would feel to suddenly gain the Spiritual Eye, that is because you have to learn it, so the sudden change would have made you afraid."
Ye Qian nodded and turned held Yuan Meng's hand and lightly caressed her face with his other hand and continued.
"See there is some residual dreg under your eyes let me wipe it first."
Saying that Ye Qian carefully removed a black smudge that had appeared at the corner of Yuan Meng's eyes.
'Huh, I didn't use any mascara, how come this black thing came on my eyelids?'
Seeing the black smudge that Ye Qian had removed from the corner of her eyes, Yuan Meng wondered.
"This is just some waste that is developed after the eyes were cleansed after their Spiritual Transformation."
Seeing her confused and wondering look Ye Qian chuckled and answered her.

After that, the black smudge in Ye Qian's finger started to vanish into thin air.
Yuan Meng didn't understand what Ye Qian had done to the smudge but seeing that it was gone she understood that it must have been either burned away or turned into nothingness.
"Now, try to look all around you."
After a moment of pause, Ye Qian smiled at Yuan Meng and asked.
"No, I don't want to..."
Yuan Meng quickly shut her eyes close and shook her head vigorously.
She was just like a frightened little girl who had seen a wild animal and was afraid to see it again.
"You won't feel like before; if you do, then just close your eyes again."
Ye Qian didn't know if he should laugh or cry, but he had seen this kind of reaction from Yuan Meng for the first time.
He was amused to such an extent that if he was not about to teach Yuan Meng to use the Spiritual Eye he might have started laughing aloud already with her behaviour.
"But...but, that scene was made my head hurt so much."
Yuan Meng looked into Ye Qian's eyes and mumbled lightly clearly afraid after remembering what she had seen after she opened her eyes back then.
The whole world seemed to have changed for her and she was able to see everything, and there was no way she was able to divulge her mind after remembering those scenes.
If she wanted to say, she would say that what she had seen back then was frightening to such a degree that her heart would have burst with the speed with which it was bating back then.
"Don't worry, if you feel like that just tell it to me, I will close your eyes with my hand right away."
Ye Qian assured her while Yuan Meng nodded with a wry smile.

She turned to her right while her eyes were still closed.
"Mengmeng how are you going to see if you don't open your eyelids?"
Ye Qian's voice entered her ears causing Yuan Meng to shake her head in fear of seeing that again.
"Don't worry I am right here."
Ye Qian sighed and placed his hand on her shoulder.
The fear which Yuan Meng was feeling went away and she opened her trembling eyelids slowly.
But she only opened one of her eyes.
"How does it look?"
With her eye as narrow as that of a few pages thick, Yuan Meng was able to see just a small amount but it was not like before.
Hearing Ye Qian's voice again, Yuan Meng understood that Ye Qian knew whether she had opened her eyes or not.
She nodded her head and this time without fearing opened her eyes.
"Hmm."
She rubbed her eyes as she was not able to see all the things clearly and were blurry.
"Now tell me how it looks?"
"And try to think that you want to see all that you would normally see with your eyes."
Ye Qian's voice was again heard from behind.
"Hmm."
Yuan Meng nodded and removed her fingers from her eyelids which she was rubbing and tried the same as Ye Qian had said to her.
She breathed in and opened her eyes again.
The surrounding in front of her was just like what she would usually see, but there was something different now.
But she was not able to pinpoint what it really was.
But she could clearly see all the things and even the minute details which one would normally have a problem in seeing through their naked eyes.
"My nearsightedness also went away!"
Yuan Meng exclaimed with a beaming smile and turned to Ye Qian.
But all she saw was a bland face and wide wide eyes with Ye Qian's twitching lips.
"What happened Qian'er, did I do something wrong?"
Yuan Meng asked in worry seeing Ye Qian's completely blank look.
His face looked completely similar to like that of a boy who had turned 20 and was waiting for a big surprise gift of a car but all he got was a bicycle.
How could Ye Qian not have this blank face, Yuan Meng was given something that people in the cultivation world would only achieve after great effort, and on Earth, this can only be considered like a Godly ability.
And all Yuan Meng was worried about was her nearsightedness was cured.
