After making the necessary arrangements with Huo Chen, Chi Jiao and Quan Jue went home to change their clothes. Then, they headed to Bar Street where Zhou Qiang died to investigate.
As night fell, young men and women were having fun here.
Quan Jue was wearing a simple black shirt and trousers. The moment he alighted, he became the center of attention.
Seeing no movement from Chi Jiao, he turned to her and asked, “Why aren’t you getting out of the car?”

Quan Jue rubbed her head through her cap. “Why are you unhappy?”

It was a rare treat for her to visit an entertainment area like Bar Street. She had even prepared a beautiful dress. However, Quan Jue insisted on making her change clothes to look like a country bumpkin.
Chi Jiao was unhappy. She wanted to wear a beautiful dress!

“We’re here to investigate in secret, not to play. Besides, you look better like this.” Quan Jue stated firmly.
Chi Jiao looked at him begrudgingly.
“Brother Quan, doesn’t your conscience hurt when you lie?” Chi Jiao pouted as she tugged at her loose-fitting clothes.
Quan Jue shook his head calmly. “No.”
Chi Jiao was completely defeated. Helpless, she could only resign herself and follow him to a bar called Sin Night.
Sin Night was the crime scene. Zhou Qiang was found dead in his office this morning.
However, Sin Night was still open as usual tonight. Flashing neon lights and loud music spilled out of the entrance. It was so noisy that their ears hurt.
After paying the entrance fee, Quan Jue and Chi Jiao entered the bar.
They were assaulted by the pungent smell of alcohol the moment they entered. Chi Jiao held Quan Jue’s hand as they walked through the crowd to the bar counter.
Chi Jiao didn’t like the atmosphere here. Quan Jue spoke into her ear. “I have spotted Zhou Xiaoyong.”
Chi Jiao followed his gaze and saw Zhou Xiaoyong sitting in a booth.
Zhou Xiaoyong probably didn’t know that Zhou Qiang was dead. He had a beautiful girl in each arm and was drinking happily.
He was surrounded by a group of roguish friends. Some of them looked very young and inexperienced. Even though they were dressed like gangsters, their outfits couldn’t hide the immaturity in their bearing. They were the same Grade 10 students whom Chi Jiao had seen bullying Shi Kuo that day.
Before Chi Jiao came, she had Huo Chen investigate Zhou Xiaoyong’s social network. The two Grade 10 students were Chen Shuo and Fu Lei. They were hooligans in the same gang as Zhou Xiaoyong.
Chi Jiao looked at Zhou Xiaoyong calmly. “Brother Quan, I think our worries are unnecessary. Look at him. He doesn’t even seem to realize that he might be targeted by a murderer.”
