It had a huge body that was almost the size of a truck, two meters tall with dark skin and some parts that looked like they may have come from a woman.
However the zombie had eight legs that were strong and sturdy, making it look like a spider. The zombie was already disfigured beyond Lin Feng’s imagination.
Opposing the zombie was a large snake, almost three feet wide and over thirty feet long. It was dark brown with a head that was twice the size of Lin Feng’s body. Lin Feng guessed that the snake was big enough to swallow an entire car in one bite.
What was most shocking to Lin Feng wasn’t the form of the zombie or the size of the snake, but the fight that was happening between them.
The fight was in front of Lin Feng and he saw the zombie lift two of its legs and watched a little red zombie come out from its body. The little zombie was only the size of an infant and looked tiny in comparison to the giant eight legged zombie. After it appeared it shot straight towards the snake, and even though it was small, it was not slow at all.
The little zombie was even more red than before, emitting a distinct thumping sound and when it appeared in front of the snake it exploded, showering the snake with red fluid.
The snake responded by opening its mouth and spreading a pale blue mist into the air that turned the red liquid solid as soon as it touched it.
Since he had seen the little silver wolf shoot a wind blade and knew that savage beasts had abilities, Lin Feng was only a little shocked by seeing the snake release the mist.
The mist should be very cold, as it could turn the liquid solid with a single touch. Lin Feng guessed that savage beasts of a certain level could give their attacks different attributes.
If the little silver wolf’s wind blade was a wind attributed attack, the snake’s attack was an ice attributed attack. Seeing this, Lin Feng now knew for sure that attacks could have different attributes.
Why it was that the zombie was able to produce a little exploding zombie, Lin Feng had no idea, but since he had come to the apocalypse, there were way too many strange things that he had seen. Let alone the mutated zombies and savage beasts, wasn’t the supermarket system pretty strange as well?
The eight legged zombie had a mutation, so it was at least 4th class. Based on this alone, Lin Feng wasn’t strong enough to face it. Moreover, the little zombie bomb spread red liquid after it exploded, and that liquid definitely wasn’t normal. Otherwise the snake wouldn’t use up its energy in order to deal with it.
Although Lin Feng couldn’t determine the level of the snake, from its size it definitely would be low. Lin Feng could tell that he wasn’t a match for either of them, and could only hide behind the tree, otherwise he might alert them as he tries to escape.
When the big zombie saw that the snake freeze the liquid from the zombie bomb, it gave an angry bellow, the same as what Lin Feng had heard when he approached this area.
Lifting its head, the big zombie leaped back and leaned forward. It opened its mouth and shot a bunch of fireballs towards the snake.
Long distance attack!
Lin Feng was speechless seeing the bunch of fireballs, not expecting the zombie to be able to do this as well. Feeling the heat from over a hundred feet away, Lin Feng could tell that the fireballs weren’t weak.
The snake was big, but was able to move very nimbly, and before the fireballs hit it, it swayed its body, causing the fireballs to miss. The fireballs flew by and hit the ground, leaving a huge hole filled with fire that wouldn’t stop for a long time. As the fire burned, the snake gathered its energy and released an arrow of ice from its mouth at the zombie.
The zombie obviously didn’t have the snake’s agility, and was struck on the chest by the ice arrow. The arrow pierced through the zombie’s chest, causing black blood to spurt out.
Being injured, the zombie roared again, lifting its legs and sending another zombie bomb towards the snake.
The savage beast and zombie were attacking each other at the same time. Even though the the big zombie didn’t have the snake’s speed, it was able to use the zombie bombs to distract it. Every time the snake used its blue mist to freeze the liquid that came from the bombs, it lost some of its strength. Gradually the snake started to miss some of the red liquid, which fell onto the snake’s body.
The red liquid was most likely corrosive, and when it fell onto the snake’s body, it started to produce white smoke and caused small holes to form on the snake’s skin.
The snake was able to use it’s speed to avoid most of the liquid, and sent more ice arrows towards the big zombie, causing more black blood to be spilled.
The two appeared to be evenly matched, losing energy defending themselves and gaining wounds from each other’s attacks. Seeing their attacks, Lin Feng grinned, wondering to himself when they would exhaust their energy.
Time moved slowly, and the movements of the zombie and snake started to slow down as well, they had clearly used up most of their energy.
Lin Feng had noticed that there was a devil’s snare was not far from the battlefield and was eagerly awaiting an opportunity to get it.
The battle soon reached its end, with an ice arrow sticking out of the zombie’s heart, and a fireball having struck the snake’s head.
Both received fatal wounds, and the zombie fell to the ground heavily while the snake stood upright for a bit longer, but still fell to the ground.
