Cong flew with Kyona on her back through the cave. She came to a halt in a large open space. In the space , Kyona saw that thousands of dragons were already awake. many of the smaller dragons were still asleep.
In the center of the room she saw a large dragon that seemed to be guarding something. Kyona walked into the space and all the dragons were fixed on her. When she passed them they laid down as a sign of obedience. She stopped walking when she stood before the big dragon.
The dragon opened his eyes and roared loudly. When he saw that Kyona did not stiffen, he opened his mouth and breathed fire. Kyona was hit by the fire, but she did not move a muscle.
When the fire was out, the dragon rose and walked to Kyona. He lowered his head and sniffed at her, waiting for her to stroke him.
"Have I passed the test Long? It would have been easier if I could hear you. Do you mind if I prepare for the dragon ceremony? Kaida has a task that she must accomplish. And I see you guarding the dragon eggs. You are doing very well " Kyona fondled Long's head lovingly.
Long ran his nose over the face of Kyona as a sign of approval. Then he went back to the dragon eggs and lay down in front of them again.
"Then it is time that I leave, the next time I see you will be during the dragon ceremony. If you would be so kind as to send me away "
She held her hand up with the ruby and The Dragons stood around Kyona. They opened their mouths and breathed fire. The fire of the dragons was absorbed by the ruby.
Kyona opened her eyes and saw that she was lying on the sofa in Huli's study. The royal doctor was shaking beside her. She looked up and saw Huli looking at the royal doctor with a dark look.
"How long have I been unconscious?"
"Your princess you have been unconscious for several hours. We could not move you because the heat that came from your body was too hot to bear. I could therefore not examine you either "the doctor looked desperately at her as if he were asking for help.
Huli could not be tolerated because no one could tell him what was going on with Kyona. In addition to that, only her maid could touch her because her body gave off an incredible heat.
