322 Black Flame emperor?
As soon as Alex said those words everyone began running. Deviants present began helping them evacuate while the rest began setting a perimeter around the place. They planned to make sure no one would come anywhere near the battleground.
“Hmph! Such bold words but dumb as well. We are all gods but even amongst the gods greater gods exist!” the deity said with a cold look in his eyes. It felt like he wanted to attack Alex but since Alex had his back turned on him, his pride as a deity won’t let him attack.
Alex simply ignored his words and when he was satisfied with the distance people below had covered he nodded to himself and turned to meet the deity’s gaze.
“Your time’s up. Now, I will take your life” Alex said and his eyes turned pitch black.
He threw his hand forward and a powerful suction force erupted from his body, pulling the entire world into the palm of his hand yet the deity standing was not moved.
“Do you know the process of becoming a true God is not something that can be achieved in this little body of yours? You have what it takes to be a God but you are not one yet!” the deity snorted in disdain as he flicked a finger and just like that, Alex was sent spiraling back!
Boom!
Immense power exploded from Alex’s body and he slowly skidded backward for a short while before stopping!
The world was stunned as the cameras zooming in saw something they have never seen before.

A bead of sweat rolled down his forehead.
Alex is sweating?

The world was shaken but the composed look on Alex’s face made them suppress the crazy thoughts appearing at the back of their minds.
“This....” Alex muttered with a deep frown. It didn’t seem like gravity control, instead, it was more like telekinesis.
What stunned him wasn’t the fact that he was hit by such an attack. What actually moved him was the fact that he couldn’t even resist the strength of the enemy from the beginning. It was clear he was dangerously outclassed.
“High Gods....” Alex muttered with a deep frown.
“For each realm is a different life and different possibilities of power. Each realm is like a farm cultivated by Gods. Our playground” The deity said.
“What I offer you is a chance to step foot into the central plains of existence where the true beings exist. A place where life has meaning!” The deity said there are words with so much passion, it looked awfully depressing.
In Alex’s eyes, he was no different from a psychopath.
“Those who Alex Briggs has chosen to protect, not even God can harm them. Have you heard those words before?” Alex asked and the deity slightly frowned.
“The fate of this world is not yours to control and as long as I live, you cannot harm my people” Alex said those words slowly and confidently.
The deity frowned and wanted to speak but paused!

Silver’s energy blade slashed at the neck of the deity but it was blown away by his sheer power, sending Silver spiraling back.
Boom!
Silver quickly activated his leg and back thrusters to help stop his retreat and stabilize his condition.
“Hard” Silver commented with a sly smile on his face while looking at the deity, causing it to shiver.
While Alex gave him the feeling of an unstoppable force planning to consume the world if not stopped. But Silver gave him the feeling of a serpent. A cunning beast and for some unknown reason, he felt he had fallen into a trap or something.
How can a mortal give off such energy!
He is living but dead?
The all-seeing eyes of the deity revealed to him many things which cannot be ignored since he found them confusing. He has never seen someone as unique as Silver.
“Who are you?” The deity asked casually.
Even with all the shock, he received he still managed to play things cool and act like he knows nothing was happening.
“If you have been paying attention to we mortals, you would know this world is run by the invincible duo. Not just one person” Silver said with a smile as he casually began moving toward the enemy at a slow but steady pace.

At the same time, Alex began approaching as well. He felt relieved that Silver was here since it made him feel safer. Truly he refused to believe there is any being who can stand in their way when they join hands.
“Five years of victory may have gotten to your heads. We have lived for far longer than you can ever imagine. I am not someone two mortals can toy with” The deity warned while showing no signs of retreat.
“A god needs no army, a god is the embodiment of perfection!” The deity’s eyes turned cold as he recited those words.
His body exuded bright light and almost instantly six golden swords began levitating around him. He stood with divine grace and power, looking like a being that can never be hurt.
“Hmph!” Alex snorted disdainfully as his eyes surged with fierce black flames.
His hands were consumed by black flames that seemed to burn space and time itself.
Seeing such power even the great deity frowned and instinctively took a step back. Against Alex, he had no fears but one since that’s the quality that made him a deity candidate to start with. His vision blurred as the image of a man surrounded by black flames crossed his mind and his body trembled.
“Black flame emperor!” He muttered and gasped like someone going through a mental breakdown leaving Alex and Silver stunned.
Whoever this black flame emperor is must be someone amazing to be able to leave a powerful deity scarred for life.
