Danny stood with a cold look in his eyes as he saw the three giant swords, revolving around the God of the sword. He allowed his presence to linger as it created a radiant energy around his three-headed Buddha.
His eyes were bright as ever as cold air diffused from his body. Danny casually pressed his hand forward and an immense energy exploded from his body surging far and wide.
“Come!” Danny said as soon as he was done with his preparation and the battle began!

A figure shot into the air with fierce power exploding from his body and surged toward. The three mighty blades let out shrill cries as they all swung at the silver Buddha.

Danny snorted disdainfully at the attacking foe. To think this man would dare attack him even after realizing how hopeless his situation is. If he is still unable to accept the reality of things then he cannot blame Danny for being ruthless!

The three blades seemed connected by an invisible chain as they spun around like a great dance, twirling around the massive deity before striking from three different directions.
“Ha! A deity that has loved at least a thousand years and has never lifted his sword until today dares to entertain the thought of beating me who has been on the battlefield for more than a thousand years now? Your cockiness knows no bounds!” Danny bellowed his a pillar of silver energy exploded from his body.

The three blades stabbed forward but strangely they were all caught by the barehanded on the tip of the blade by the barehanded Buddha. The smiling face quickly swapped to the crying face as a powerful ripple of sorrowful energy diffused from his body spreading far and wide.
Soon shrill cries filled the sky, affecting the three mighty swords and the God of the sword!

The God of the sword suddenly felt great turmoil from the pit of his heart. He felt like something was off and wrong about the entire situation as countless images of his past life began reappearing but sorrowful ones. Soon his mind was overwhelmed with these many thoughts that he couldn’t even see Silver again or his surroundings.
These images were his most painful and sorrowful experiences throughout his long life. Tears ran down his ice cold face and his body trembled greatly but he couldn’t seem to move.
Whatever illusionary spell this is must be the worst of them all!
” As a mortal, I may not be able to kill a god and will only end up destroying the mortal body. So why don’t I just consume your power just like I have done to the countless foes I have met? I would like to see if a god will remain a god without his core!” Danny’s eyes tinged with cruelty as he spoke those words even though the knew the enemy wouldn’t hear him.

Grasping the throat of the enemy, Danny felt an energy surge into his body it was different from what he has ever felt. He felt like the core of this being was attached to his soul and everything concerning him.
The deities were not diverse beings with the body and souls. The soul, core, and body have integrated into one, so a deity who has his power stolen in this realm is as good as destroyed in the next!

The God of Sword tried to undo the god’s descent but he couldn’t. It felt like the suction force exploded from Danny keeping his soul attached to the mortal body, preventing him from shifting out of the body!

As Danny kept consuming the enemy’s power the world around him trembled and even space and time seemed distorted. His eyes shone with understanding light as his mask exploded in the presence of the new power he was consuming.

Danny’s eyes opened as if the secrets of the world has been revealed to him. His body was slowly becoming transparent and a fierce suction force erupted from Danny but it wasn’t the same as before. It was the same thing that happened to Alex when he ascended.
With the world power flowing into him, he could feel himself becoming one with the world
“I finally understand why he didn’t do it,” Danny said with realization visible in his eyes.
He finally realized why Alex refused to complete his Ascension. The universe was just one big ball of energy in his eyes. Taking this power in a bid to ascend will lead to the destruction of that world.
This meant that for every god without a defect, a universe filled with mortals must have suffered for it.
The thought of this made Danny furious and with a single attempt, the neck of the sword God was crushed and all his essence emerged from his body like a grey cloud and then poured into Danny.
He has no reason to use the power of this world and can take the powers of this deity and use it to complete his Ascension.

The world trembled violently and only now did the others realize what was going on. The remaining members of the crew looked in that direction with stunned looks on their faces. No one had expected this ascension, not even Silver had predicted this.
“I guess I will be going ahead first… I will take care of Alex while you deal with things here” Danny’s voice boomed like thunder in the heads of every living being, just like Alex did.
“Sure thing,” Silver said with a bitter smile.
He simply turned his back on Danny and threw a thumbs up his way without bothering to look back anymore.
“I will find a way to bring everyone together…. I swear it” Danny said with his clothes swaying in the wind.
