"Ugh, that guy's insufferable," Lucy muttered as she stepped out of the inn, Macos shooing her off with the smuggest grin she had ever seen.

Besides her, Worm chuckled, "He's quite amusing. I might write an article about him."

Lucy turned to the girl. "Really? First an article about a person who tried to have sex with a goblin, and now one about an annoying NPC?"

The girl coughed, blushing slightly, but still nodded.

"It is my opinion that, anything interesting, deserves to be written about," She plainly said.

While Lucy wondered how the heck Worm thought the guy interesting, the two carried themselves through the town of Acron. In little time, they found themselves before a smithy, the sound of iron in the air.

"There it is," Worm said as she walked forwards.

"Hot," Lucy muttered.

Realism at work again, the inside of the place was swelteringly hot. There were racks of weapons and armor leaning on and attached to the rocky walls of the rather small space. In front of them, a bulky man with a well-trimmed beard and short hair was hammering away as sweat fell from his caramel skin, staining his white t-shirt.

"I've come to turn in the quest," Worm said right away, "I've collected the cracked bronze weapons you requested."

"Oh?"

The man stopped his work and left the anvil as he stood before Worm.

"Come now then, send them over," He said, happily.

While Worm sent the items over to him, Lucy took a look at one of the swords in the shop, a beautiful weapon gleaming silver.

[Radiant Iron Sword]
—an iron sword that shines in expert workmanship, blinding those who see it with its price.
/at least 25 Souls in Physical Strength required to equip.
+100 to Physical Strength.
+50 to Physical Defense

She blinked her eyes. Then they widened. She was almost salivating at the weapon that was lying about as if it was a mere scrap of metal. As Worm finished with the man, she turned to him in haste.

"Hey hey," She asked, pointing at it, "How much for the sword?"

He looked her up and down.

"How much?" He raised a brow, then replied plainly. "You can't afford it."

Lucy felt a vein pop upon her head. In all her years of being alive, it was the first time someone had ever stared at her and practically called her poor to her face. She took a breath, and released it while Worm laughed beside her.

She decided she would warm up to the blacksmith if it was the last thing she did.

"Hey, mister," She said, "Call I call you mister?"

"Call me Alec Colt."

She readily nodded, then furrowed her brows. "Why do you need cracked bronze swords anyway when you have something like that? Are you done with your swords, can I take em?"

He scoffed at her and shook his head while Worm averted her eyes as if expecting something.

"Goblins, as bad as they are, have a certain craftsmanship in their weapons," He said, sighing in admiration. Then he frowned and dropped the act altogether. "All of their weapons are terrible actually, I'm not gonna lie, I just want to melt them into bronze and create [Bronze Swords] for cheap. Now those, those are going to be beautiful."

". . ."

Lucy was speechless for a moment.

"So. . ." She asked, "You're not selling the sword?"

"Nope."

"Really? What about the other ones?"

"None of my items are for sale."

Lucy's brows scrunched.

"Aren't you a blacksmith? What are you making weapons and armor for if you're not selling them?"

He looked at her blankly as if she were an idiot. "Just because I'm a blacksmith, does that mean I have to sell what I make? These are all art, you know? Art pieces."

What the heck was he saying? The developers were basically showing off tantalizing meals and then telling food connoisseurs that they couldn't have any! As she was about to jump and bite him to death, Lucy felt a hand clap her shoulder.

She turned to Worm who shook her head.

"Forget it," The girl said, sighing, "I've. . .I've tried numerous times before. He only gave me my bronze sword in the end after I helped him find a lost iron sword. I was quite a bit disappointed, I should have just kept the iron one and ran away."

He glanced at her incredulously at those words.

"And now? What did you get from him after completing this one?" Lucy asked, giving up on trying to argue with the man any further.

This time, Worm smiled.

"The 'Blacksmith' subclass," She said, "I think this quest is actually repeatable by others, so you should do it too."

At that, Lucy could only sigh and look at the ma.

". . .do you want goblin swords?" She asked him.

"I can't say no to that now, can I?"

[Free Bronze]
—recover 5 of any Cracked Bronze weapon for Alec Colt, so he can make something less terrible. Something more beautiful to add to his collection.
{Clear Condition: 1/5 Cracked Bronze Series Weapon
Rewards: 'Blacksmith'}

Lucy begrudgingly accepted the quest and the two left the smithy.
