Chris was thinking but suddenly their door started to be knocked continuously, Hans had a bad feeling about it and Chris annoyingly opened the doors to see the girl in their discussion right in front of him.

Delimira made heartbreak expressions, and Hans was now doubting Chris’s words. Anyone could tell by just looking at her that Chris was being a jerk to her but everything was sorted out when she replied to his words,

Hans thought, If there was ranking in acting then this girl would be at the top, he teased Chirs by taking a step away from him pretending scared of Chris being a Homosexual which annoyed the boy even further. He closed the door and leaned on it with his back, releasing a long breath of relief. Hans unaware of the danger came to tease him more,

Ah that, when Deli was a kid she once threw a tantrum to find who she will end up with so lady Aredhel looked at her future and found him. After that, she searched for him but found nothing. She also saw me alongside him in the future.
Chris paused briefly and added,
But I don't think that guy actually exists and Lady Aredhel made this whole story to let Deli off her back.

Chris was grabbing his stomach and embarrassedly said,

Hans searched for the bag of desserts that the servants packed for him, he didn't want to share those with anyone but sharing was the common thing to deepen the friendship. So. he found the bag and hesitatingly took out the cake slices.
Chris was looking at Hans with expectant eyes but when he saw cake slices, he was disappointed because he was not a sweet loving guy but that made Hans happy. Hans opened his palm and a small plant grew over it and a yellow pulp fruit visibly grew bigger and ripened up in mere moments.
After the ripening the plant dried up and disintegrated as Hans wished, Hans tossed the fruit at Chris and started looking at his cake slices with his watering mouth. Chris was baffled and looked at his new friend who was acting like this was nothing.
He said to Hans,
So are we not going to discuss what you just did?
Hans replied with a carefree expression,
I am a wood mage, brother, what do you expect?
Chris also knew that his friend was a rare existence whom he cannot compare with anyone. He looked at the fruit in his hand and started peeling it off, it was no different than the real fruit. He put a slice in his mouth and found that this was the best yellow pulp fruit he ever tried.
Vegetation created by Hans was close to a perfect existence because there were no impurities of inorganic substances absorbed in their growth. Chris gobbled up the fruit in a jiffy and looked at Hans for more. Hans had to stop the spoonful of cake in the middle to create some more for him.
They spent their remaining time exploring their campus while looking out for Delimra who was searching for them but they finally had to face her at the dining hall at dinner. The food was lavish which many of the first years never had the chance to look at before but the duo was sitting across from Delimira, who was in a bad mood. She didn't say anything to them but just glared.
After coming to their room both sat on their beds with medicine for indigestion. Hans said to his roommate-turned-friend,
I never had this uncomfortable dinner in my whole life, and I can assure you I had my fair share of odd dinners.
Hans was used to eating on the go in hunting with Rudolf and sometimes had to consume raw things but even that didn't give him indigestion. The Elf's death stare and silent treatment were something on a different scale.
Chris was looking at him without saying anything so Hans said to him,
Do something about her, I don't wanna eat in that tense environment again.
Chris refuted,
Do you think I want this?
Hans pulled over the blanket, it was still winter in Concordia so he was under several layers. Seeing him sleeping without any concerns Chris asked him,

Brother, let the “future us” worry about that, sleep, good night.
Hans fell asleep in mere moments and Chris had no choice but to think alone but he was also tired and didn't know when he fell asleep too.
Dawn was still in its infant phase and the birds were singing in a melodious chirping but the harmonious music of morning was broken by a loud sound which is used to wake the sleepy heads. Hans was most cranky when he was disturbed in his sleep, he turned to see Chris who had already awoken.
Hans irritatingly referred to the loud sound and asked him,
Who is this madman?
This is our wake-up call, sleepy head.
Hans turned to see their window, there was barely any sunlight, he turned back to him and asked,

It's morning training.
Hans remembered reading this in his schedule, he got up but his whining did not stop. Chris had to drag him to the training ground for their A-section class. Many of the students were also drowsy like Hans but his drowsiness ran like a scaredy cat when he encountered the death stare of Delimira winters again.
Hans asked Chris,
Hey, why do I think her target is me, not you?
Chris cheerfully looked at her and it seemed to be true, he replied to Hans,
Hans, my friend, I think I found her a "new toy".
SOME UNKNOWN PLACE
A man came running in excitement to an Elder’s abode and rudely entered without permission. He excitedly asked the man of the house,
Arat, is it true?
The Man called Arat shouted,
Now, who leaked the confidential information to this nutjob?
The derision did not stop the spirited man and he violently shook Arat, not considering his old age to get his answer.
Oh come on, tell me, he really exists?
Arat barely managed to stop him and replied,

The excited man laughed like a madman and shouted,

My ‘House’ in boarding school had a long hall for sixteen students. We were given bunk beds and we also had a huge bell that rang in the morning at 5 and we had to drag ourselves to the ground for morning exercise.
