Emmy and Lynn met up at the square the following day, where they both started heading toward the place where Lynx lived. They walked in relative silence before arriving at an old house.

"Is this the place?" Emmy asked as she looked at the house.

"Yes," Lynn stepped forward going to knock on the door when it opened on its own.

Behind the door was Lynx, "What are you guys doing here?"  he questioned as he placed his hands in his pockets leaning against the door frame, and looked at them in suspicion.

"Well…" Lynn said, fiddling with her fingers as she glanced at Lynx infrequently, Scratching her head before she starts to speak, "I—"

"She asked me to help you,"  Emmy cut her off and she started speaking, "But, it seems that you are doing quite well for yourself. It seems that my assistance wasn't required in the first place. I'll take my leave then."

She didn't want to stay where she wasn't needed... or wanted in fact. Though by the strange look Lynx was giving her, she couldn't decide on which it was.

Lynn stopped fiddling with her fingers and ran up to Emmy, "Thank you for your help, I appreciate it."

Emmy stopped and turned her head, "No need to thank me I haven't done anything that you asked of me,"  she looked at Lynx before once again turning to leave.

Once again she was stopped but this time not by Lynn but by the boy himself Lynx.

"Wait—" Lynx appeared in front of Emmy and she looked at him, tilting her head, "I would like to thank you for bringing me to my senses and even though you may not know it, you saved me from myself."

His eyes revealed his gratitude and Emmy felt slightly unpleasant. She did not feel as if she deserved his thanks.

"From now on I'll be a better person but—"

"But…?" Emmy asked as she gestured for him to continue. Lynx breathed before he leveled Emmy with a glare and while surprised, she glared back, tensing.

Was he going to try something? Emma placed her hands behind her back closing her fists, ready to defend herself at any moment. She narrowed her eyes, waiting to see what he would do.

"Hmph! Don't think that just because I was defeated by you once that I will once again be defeated," Lynx grinned, "Don't slack off now or I might surprise you."

"Hmph! I look forward to that," Emmy relaxed and huffed, "Well if that's all you have to say I'll be going now, also you better take care of Lynn or I'll come for you, mark my words."

Lynn reminded Emmy of her friend Fischl in some ways, but what made the impression on her was how loyal the girl was to Lynx, despite seeing him fall from glory. From what she could tell, Emmy could see Lynn only wanted what was best for Lynx, no matter what she had to sacrifice.

Emma could relate to her in some ways and so she didn't want Lynx to hurt the girl. Despite all his flaws, she was the one to stick with him to the end and was the only friend who didn't abandon him at the first sight of trouble.

To hurt such a loving person, Emmy couldn't tolerate Lynx if he did.

"As if I could see myself listening to you but I do suppose you have a point and in light of that I'll take your advice to heart," Lynx said as he looked at the nervous Lynn in front of his door, unable to hear them as they whispered.

Emmy noticed that they were joined for quite a while and do not foster any strange fantasies she retreated a bit, "Well I suppose I should be going now, bye!"

Emma quickly walked away as she headed toward the Adventurers Guild to begin her training. It was 7 a.m. by now on she didn't start her training yet as she had to meet up with Lynn early in the morning.

She left her equipment at the gym with Fischl and the others, and in record time she arrives at the Adventurers Guild before walking in through the door and going down the elevator. She closed her eyes as she idly stood in the Elevator waiting for her to arrive at the training center but she was suddenly alerted by the system.

[Host it seems that Lynx had contained Elemental energy around his body.]

"Meaning?" Emma narrowed her eyes her brows furrowed as she questioned, as far as she was concerned no one was able to use a technique similar to her. So the only possibility left was—

Emmy blinked.

No way…

[The Host is indeed correct. It appears that Lynx has obtained a vision, most likely due to recent events.]

"No way?"  Emma said he looked at her hands, " I only said a few words to him but he obtained a vision? Do my words have some secret power," Emmy began to fantasize, imagining her words shaping the continent of Tey—

[The system recommends that the Host not be infected by Fischl and her ability to conjure up such notions.]

"It was just a little okay?" Emmy said she felt the elevator stop, the door open and she walked out of the elevator.

Emmy approached the door and opened it, going inside.

Lynx watched as Emmy went away until her figure was gone, then he turned toward Lynn. He watched as she like a little lamb bowed her head as looked at him infrequently, a far cry from the beast she showed a few days ago.

Lynx sighed as he looked at Lynn, and he reluctantly opened his arms. She looked confused and Lynx gestured for her to come here.

Lynn jumped into his arms and cried, "Lynx! You're okay! I'm so glad," Lynn said as she hugged him and he discovered that his clothes now seemed to be damp.

Was she crying?

"I was so… worried about you, you know?" Lynn said, her voice trembling, "You hadn't come out of your room for days and your parents wouldn't let me visit you."

Lynx felt a bit awkward, patting her head softly. A warm feeling emerged in his heart as he discovered one of the two persons who hadn't abandoned him thus far.

He remembered that small girl that used to be at all his performances, waving her small flag. He wondered if she too had abandoned him like his brother when he died but it seems that he was the one who was blind.

Marcus may be gone but he still had her. Thankfully he hadn't pushed the only one to believe in him away or he really would have regretted it.

"Look I'm okay aren't I? I'm gonna be alright from now on," Lynx smiled as he told her his eyes shined and Lynn was suddenly caught in his smile, her cheeks flushed, "Ah, are you hot? You can come in I'll get you some water."

"Huh?" Lynn asked dazed before she realized what was happening and the red on her face spread, she moved out of the hug shouting, "Ah! No, no, I'm fine nothing wrong with me, hehe."

Lynx looked at her in confusion and Lynn could feel her cheeks reach an intense level of heat, any more and she might faint from embarrassment. Lynx smiled and patted her head fondly.

"Let's go inside, I'll get you something to drink," He walked toward the door motioning for Lynn to follow him.

"Ah, wait!" Lynn ran to the house and entered, closing the door behind her.

Though she did wonder what that frigid feeling on her head was at the time, it felt nice though, so Lynn didn't complain.

It cooled her down too.

"What! So Lynx has a vision now?" Harlin shouted as he stood up from his seating place on the log collection site the group took as their chill-out spot.

"Yes, it was quite a shocker for me as well," Emmy could somewhat relate to Harlin's shock and looked at the others. There she saw various degrees of disbelief and aversion to such information.

"So he said, 'Don't get too relaxed' right," Sebastian said stroking his chin, "Is he going to fight the boss again someday?"

"He certainly will!" Emmy said as she nodded, "But there is nothing you all should worry about, I'll be able to beat him when he comes."

Gentler this time, who knew if he would get something like a second vision?

It was deemed impossible by most people but Emmy, a person who had a system, something nothing short of impossible kept her mind open to the possibility. She didn't want to risk being so unfortunate to be the first person in such an incident.

"Anyway, moving on from Lynx's matter, which has been resolved somewhat," Emmy said as she looked at all her friends or subordinates, "Next week we will begin weapons training, have you all chosen a weapon of choice? I'll handle the tutor."

She could just ask the system to teach them, granted it was stupid to use her advantage on others but she didn't mind. She could handle it and she didn't think she would be betrayed either.

She didn't know why but she felt certain about that bit.

"One shall use a bow, shooting the stars hast been my destiny and I shall have it," Fischl said as she covered her eye.

"I'll be using a polearm," Ansgar said, staying true to his name, "But I already have a tutor, so…"

"Hmm? You do?" Emmy asked, "Do you all have one then?" They nodded, "Ah so it's gonna be just me and Fischl then. We'll test our skills against each other then."

"Yes, boss!" Andre said excitedly, "I'm going to use a sword though, Aries will too."

Aries nodded.

"I shall be using a great sword," Harlin said

Emmy listened to them idly as she looked at all the boys, though she raised an eyebrow when Sebastian said he was going to use knives and short swords. But she thought it suited his aesthetic.

'He is like a butler,' She mused.

"Then we will all be sparring two times a week or more after morning practice," Emmy clapped her hands, "Normally it would take a long to master weapons but with our talents, we should be able to handle it."

She grinned, her eyes darkened. A giggle sounded in the area, sending chills down their spines and Emmy looked at all of them.

"You'll have to learn quickly alright or..." She said, "You can get beaten down by me until you do."

"Let's have fun together guys, hehe."

They trembled as their imagination ran wild.
