Emmy stretched her body as she looked at the three boys before her, their faces were lined with dirt and grime as they took her teachings with conviction.

"I guess we're done for today," Emmy said as she looked up. True to what was said before, most bystanders already left to go about their own business, leaving a few people to lounge around freely.

Emmy didn't mind it, no. It should rather be said that Emmy was glad that these people left as they made her slightly uncomfortable. She wasn't pleased with being a source of entertainment for others. At least not in this fashion.

She had no desire to change her occupation from a noble scion to a bootleg gladiator. This would be a massive downgrade in status, which wasn't advantageous to her in any way.

Though her thought process was like this she couldn't help but glance at the tall building in the distance. The three standing on the edge were long gone but they had a lasting image in her mind, even if they only appeared as shadowed images in her vision.

Emmy turned back to the three who composed themselves and together, they walked back to the others there.

"Boss, how did we do?" Ansgar asked suddenly as he cradled his side. Emmy didn't show the boys any mercy at all and eagerly stomped them while committing herself to her drill instructor-level training.

While it may seem a bit cruel and harsh but Emmy convinced herself that it was a necessary evil. It was a common saying that sweating more in peace sheds less blood in the war. She was only doing this to keep them protected from others.

Not because she enjoyed torturing others while she was given the right in doing so and wouldn't suffer any repercussions.

Not at all.

"For your age, you did well. Ah! By your age, I mean compared to me which already places you above many of the knights and fighters in Teyvat. As you train further with me, I will teach you a thing that will place you on par with Vision holders and a method to kill them."

Emmy said this nonchalantly as if killing others weren't a big deal but the others kept silent. With the way Emmy said this, they simply didn't know how to respond to her shocking statement.

Was killing people so easy?

When they finally arrived next to the group, who were also within hearing distance of Emmy's words, they also revealed various degrees of complication. The only one who didn't was Fischl as Emmy had long reached an unfathomable level in her mind.

She thought her friend was acting and didn't take her word seriously at all.

Emmy who noticed their expressions revealed a toothy smile, "Ah? Ara? Are you guys scared? You shouldn't take my word seriously, we'll be fighting some monsters soon enough when you guys reach the expert rank."

"When will that be?" Harlin was the first to banish the effect of Emmy's words on his mind, since he decided to follow her he only needed to accept what came his way from now on. He was the one who came to her after all.

"One week? Two weeks? It will depend on the frequency of our training and how hard we train but our physical fitness is a massive problem, As it stands we are no match for Hilichurls or Mitachurls..." Emmy paused and then continued,

"Well, you guys are, I can kill them no problem. A Lawachurl can easily end us though."

While she did kill a Mitachurl and many others during her previous virtual train and the others that came afterward. Emmy still wasn't up to a level where she could easily kill an opponent that ranked in the upper [A] ranks.

Some Lawachurl could even reach the [S] rank if they were old enough or had a genetic mutation, which, while rare wasn't impossible.

"So, we should just train hard until we meet the standard to go and become an adventurers group?" Andre asked just to make sure and Emmy nodded.

"Yes, that would be so."

"That's great! All I have to do is train harder and I should reach it in about a week considering my overwhelming talent."

"You. You're arrogant aren't you?"

"There are those who can be arrogant, such as you Boss. But the boss doesn't need to engage in such pleasures, right? There are enough arrogant people in the world."

"Hmph! Do as you wish, but be sure to be aware of your surroundings."

"Don't worry boss. I'll even take on the role of being the arrogant guy of the group, I'll deal with all the trash on your behalf."

"Not bad, you deserve a raise."

"Hehe... The Boss is wise."

"Hmph! You sure know how to butter up!"

The rest of the group watched in amazement as the two, started this serious conversation until it became a role-playing event. They couldn't see the raise that guy, Andre was talking about.

"Well, I guess that's enough for that today. You guys can go home now and rest because we will do this again tomorrow and in preparation for our eminent employment in the adventurers guild, I will get a hold of the requirements to join."

The children all made voices of agreement as they started packing up their items, Emmy watched as the tired Noelle hopped onto Harlin's back with her bag in hand. The girl waved at them as the two left.

The others followed their example with Sebastian and Ansgar leaving the scene in a haste, saying that the daylight was still there. They had things to do, something about helping their parents with their jobs.

They were most likely gaining experience in those fields.

As for Aries and Andre, they both stood there along with Emmy and Fischl with Fischl still preoccupied with packing her and Emmy's bags. Watching her struggle with Emmy's bag brought a smile to the girl's face.

Cute. Emmy thought.

"Fischl! I have to talk to the boys a bit, would you mind looking at our bags for a while?"

"Hmph! To dare to order thy sacred self in such a tone. Sacrilege! But fear not, for I the Prinzessin am a benevolent ruler and shall pardon you just this once. Take note of this honor and offer your thanks to the Prinzessin."

"Yes, it is an honor. I'm grateful."

"Hmm."

Emmy nodded toward the boys and they followed Emmy to the other end of the small training, where she stopped and looked at the lake. Her hands were behind her back as she stared at the still water.

"Boss...?"

It was Andre who broke the silence and Emmy turned toward them. There was a warm smile on her face, its radiance exceeding that of the waning sun but all the boys felt was a chill down their spines.

Emmy opened her mouth and her following words shocked them completely.

"You guys... You're from an assassin family right?"
