A temporary bed was also set up in the large drawing-room.

Rubella Castle was a mess.

More than five hundred knights were injured.

Yesterday morning, the cracks at the boundaries grew all of a sudden, and an incredible number of magical beasts jumped out of them.

Duke Kyar’s speed in creating the ice barrier couldn’t cope with the cracks growing at an alarming rate.

Isabella’s expression dimmed when Marc informed her that the Duke could not eat and sleep after trying to freeze all the magical beasts that came out.

No matter how great the Archduke may seem, he was a human being.

He still had his limits.

Still, many knights were severely injured, just as Duke Kyar had to deal with hundreds or even thousands of beasts by himself, along with the few remaining soldiers.

“I’ll have to go there myself.”

After hearing that story, she just couldn’t stay still.

If she left him as it was, Duke Kyar would be in danger.

Marc also informed her that many injured people hadn’t been brought to Rubella Castle yet.

The royal family had asked their troops for support, but it did not arrive yet.

“Wait for me, Isabella. I will bring all the knights I have to Arpeon Castle for reinforcement. You must go with me.”

“Sister. It’s dangerous to go to the boundary right now. My uncle wouldn’t want you to be there either.”

“But I just can’t wait for him like this.”

If Isabella could just see Duke Kyar’s face in person, she would be relieved.

Just imagining him struggling alone in the face of adversity broke her heart.

“Miss Isabella, I need your help here right now. We are experiencing a shortage of clinics and medicines to treat the knights’ wounds. All the painkillers you’ve made had also run out.”

“I’ve created more medicine for curing wounds and set them aside for emergencies. I think we could make it work.”

Still, the amount was far from enough to treat more than five hundred injuries.

Isabella wanted to go to Duke Kyar at once, but her priority had changed to making medicine.

It would do her no good to visit the Archduke, anyway.

When the reinforcements arrived from the South, Isabella looked at Prince Victor.

She thought he should also take the medicine she made before going to the boundary.

“Your Highness, I also need the herbs from the southern pharmacists. I still have a lot of herbs, but they’re not enough to treat this large number of people.”

Prince Victor hastily nodded and replied, “All right. Tell me what kind of herbs you need, and I’ll send them with the volunteers.”

“Butler, please contact all the people who got hired at Bella’s medicine shops to come to the laboratories.”

“Yes, Your Highness.”

Although the research laboratories still had some painting work left, they could still use all the items inside without any problems.

These laboratories had to be operated to mass-produce all these medicines in the shortest amount of time.

Isabella wanted to hurry up and finish manufacturing all these medicines so that she could finally go to Duke Kyar’s side.

“Tell me the name of these herbs before I use the Teleport Tower to the south.  Don’t worry too much. I’ll have the reinforcements today.” Prince Victor said as she patted Isabella’s shoulder.

“Sister. I’ll go to the threshold right now and see how he is doing. I will get him in touch with you through the messenger.”

“Young Master Kyle, that’s too dangerous.”

“I might not be as good as uncle, but I know that I can protect myself now.”

The cold air gushed out of Kyle’s hand, creating an ice column the size of an adult male.

His progress was genuinely remarkable when Kyle could barely release cold air from his body seven months ago.

Yet, Isabella knew what Kyle had sacrificed to achieve this ability.

He had not missed a single day of training since he began lifting his sword.

Kyle had achieved all of this through hard work.

Isabella was proud of him.

“Young Master Kyle.”

“My ability to create ice is getting stronger now. So don’t worry too much, sister.”

Isabella nodded.

She glanced up at Kyle, who had not only grown taller but also wiser.

He became more confident in what he was capable of.

“Please contact me as soon as you arrive. You must also tell me about the place’s condition.”

“Yes, sister. Then, I’ll leave at once.”

“Oh, before that, take some medicine. I’ll give you some natural painkillers and wound treatments that I have already separated for you and the Archduke. I hope these Gloria’s flowers can also be of service to you and His Highness.”

“Yes, I will bring  all of them, sister.”

“Let’s go to the room.”

Isabella and Kyle hurried up to the room to get them.
