Song Fengyan was sitting in the living area with Little Star on his lap as he held an open book in front of them. The girl was clearly displeased that she was subjected to these recap lessons before she and her Yu Gege started attending pre-school again.
Her Uncle Yan was reading out a book to her like she was some sort of a kid who had no idea what common animals were. She should be studying with her Yu Gege and Daddy Ji, who was teaching her brother addition and multiplication in the corner of the living area.
Why couldn't she be as good as her mommy and Yu Gege when it comes to numbers anyway? That was unfair!
"What sound does the cow make? Moooo!" She heard her Uncle Yan read out enthusiastically. It was rare for the little girl to let him touch her because the devil was always in the way to snatch Little Star away from him.
When he came to deliver the essentials Feng Tianyi needed, he found the devil tutoring Xiao Bao while Little Star was pouting in a corner, wanting to join them. He volunteered to tutor the girl himself, confident that he would be able to teach her well. How could he let this rare chance to slip out of his hand?
"What sound does the pig make? Oink oink!" He continued, much to Little Star's irritation. She already knew all of these! Why did she need to do a recap on something she already knew about?
Little Star said nothing but nodded, her lips forming into a pout. She also wanted their Daddy Ji to tutor her.
"Little Star, don't pout like that. Don't you know how cute you are? You look like a doll. Do you wanna look like Annabelle? You look scary." Li Meili who arrived with Lin Qianrou earlier, commented on the little girl's scowling.
It was obvious that the girl was disappointed over the fact that it wasn't Qin Jiran who wasn't tutoring her, but Song Fengyan. While she and her Yu Gege loved all their uncles, their Daddy Ji was still the number one in their hearts.
"Oh, sweetheart. I agree with your Auntie Meili. Don't scowl like that. Aren't you a pretty princess?" Lin Qianrou chimed in. They were busy eating the cake Qin Jiran had made earlier and were watching the tv in boredom.
Xiao Bao who was busy with his Daddy Ji, learning about basic addition and multiplication overheard their conversation.
"What are you talking about, Auntie Qian? Little Star isn't a princess. She's a drama queen!" He said with a grin to his annoyed sister.
Little Star glared at her twin brother in return and stucked her tongue out.
Qin Jiran lifted his head and looked at the twins and smiled.
"Behave, Little Star. I'll teach you how to read later if you can finish your lessons with your Uncle Yan. And you, Baobao, you should focus on answering your papers. We're not quite done yet."
Little Star's face then lit up. She only needed to finish this lesson, then it would be her turn to get her Daddy Ji's attention. However, before that, she had to deal with her Uncle Yan's boring lesson.
"What sound does the cat make? Meow meow!" She heard her uncle continue.
"What sound does a horse make?"
"Neigh!"
"Little Star, do you remember what sound a pig makes? I told you this earlier."

Everyone went back to silence as they minded their own business as Little Star continued learning what kind of sounds animals make. However, a sudden loud fart that came from the little girl made everyone speechless at Little Star's innocent facade. Song Fengyan scrunched his nose while Li Meili and Lin Qianrou looked at them in surprise.
Noticing everyone's stare on her, Little Star turned to look at her Uncle Yan.
"Uncle Yan, do you hear what my butt said? It said prrrrrrrrrtttttt!" She announced proudly, as if she hadn't done anything wrong towards her Uncle Yan.
Li Meili started to laugh upon hearing it while Lin Qianrou had to bite her inner cheek first, but failed, following Li Meili's lead, laughing out loud. Even Feng Tianyi and Xiao Bao laughed upon hearing what Little Star said.
"Oh my goodness, Little Star! That's such a smelly joke from you." Song Fengyan waved his hand, attempting to disperse the smelly scent that hit him. As much as he loved Little Star, her fart was enough to make him feel dizzy.
"But Uncle Yan, a fart is just a poop that turned into air." Little Star defended herself before slipping down her uncle's lap. "I need to potty!" She said before running down the hallway to find their nanny.
Lin Qianrou patted Li Meili's back as the latter couldn't stop herself from laughing too much.
"Now, now, Meili. Give Little Star a break or you'll die from too much laughter," she told her friend. But Lin Qianrou had to admit that what Little Star said earlier was really funny.
Li Meili wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes as she steadied her breathing.
"You don't understand, Qian. She looks so much like Moyu when we were younger. In fact, They both have this same annoyed expression on their faces whenever the events don't turn out the way they want it to. It was just, Little Star's naughtiness definitely didn't come from Moyu at all. I wonder where she got it from."
