There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line as Song Huifen stopped whatever she was working on and adjusted herself comfortably in her seat.
"Tang Moyu? What about her?" She questioned. "I hope you aren't wasting my time, Tianyi. I'm currently swamped with work right now."
There was an underlying warning in her words. He'd better give her a good reason why she should extend an olive branch to help his woman.
The fallen empress gulped next to the devil. She wasn't even aware that Feng Tianyi's mother was aware of her existence. Just how much did his mother know about her? She wondered.
"No, not her but Xiao Bao and Little Star." Feng Tianyi made it clear.
"Oh?" Now, that definitely caught his mother's undivided attention. "What happened to Xiao Bao and his sister?"
"They've been taken away…" Then Feng Tianyi proceeded to explain the situation regarding the Ye family and how the Tang twins had been taken away with young Lu Ziluo.
They heard the empress dowager hummed and Tang Moyu silently prayed that Feng Tianyi's mother would accept their request, or else she wouldn't have any choice but to forcefully retrieve her children, no matter what the consequences of her actions would be.

Gu Yuyao broke her cookie in half and fed the other half to He Lianchen.
