Su Jingyi didn't know what to say right then. The conversation between Yun Zhen and her family flowed smoothly and she was quite surprised herself seeing that he was getting along with them without encountering any hiccups

"Hadn't you had enough food from dinner earlier? You're still hungry?" Su Jingyi asked him.
"I still have enough room for it, Sis. Don't worry about me." He paused and gave her a teasing wink. "Worry about yourself instead."
Su Jingyi harrumphed and hit him with a throw pillow in response, knowing that what he was thinking at the moment. He was probably enjoying all of this.
"So are you going out with him? Did you think he's going to propose properly this time?" Her brother leaned forward and said in a hush voice, asking her.
"How am I supposed to know?" Su Jingyi looked at Yun Zhen who was still engrossed in a conversation with their mother. She was impressed at how he was able to keep up with the random topics her mother was purposely throwing at him and Yun Zhen had no problem answering her inquiries.
She had never imagined that he would go to this extent to seek her, but did he truly want her back because he wanted her or was it because he needed her? She wondered.
"Well, Mr. Yun, are you staying nearby?" Father Su asked, checking the time on the wall clock. They didn't even notice that it was past eleven of the evening.
"Ah, to be honest. I immediately came here as soon as my flight landed. I'm on a personal trip, so I might…" Yun Zhen's voice trailed off. "I might have forgotten to tell my assistant to book a hotel room for me." He admitted in shame.
Su Jingyi couldn't stop herself from facepalming. How could the great Yun Zhen fail to do such a basic thing before leaving Shenzhen? But she had to remind herself that she had been the one who had been assigned to do those things for the longest time. She was the one who used to prepare and follow through their itinerary whenever they were on a business trip.
