An entire year had passed since the end of the battle.
Lots of things had changed, with the most important ones being that he had finished the inscribing procedure of the God's Halo as well as the UTC device, which he now termed a UTC phone.
It had been extremely difficult to inscribe three complex runic constellations on the God's Halo, even more so because each of them consisted of more than three million runes and the fact that they had to be properly connected.
This had been quite difficult, but after working on it for three months, Jason's painstaking and meticulous work had finally paid off.
There was not even a single flawed rune inscribed on his God's Halo, giving the three runic constellations a potency of 100%!
The runic constellations Jason had come up with for his first God's Halo were quite simple.
Yet, their use was certainly exceptional.
[Impact absorption], [Energy Absorption] and [Reflection] were what Jason had inscribed on the God's Halo.
Meanwhile, the connection of the three runic constellations allowed Jason to reflect the energy that had been absorbed by the Impact and Energy absorption, whenever he wanted at that.
After he was done inscribing everything, Jason tested it out a few times and asked others to simply hit him.
If the attacks were to impact his body, the energy of their elemental and physical attacks would still hit him. But the used energy would be weaker, which was what resulted in the lower strength of the attacks.
Only a tiny portion would be accumulated within the God's Halo.
However, the moment the God's Halo blocked the attack, a faint membrane would form in the center of the God's Halo's ring, reflecting the attack, including the accumulated impact and energy at once.
This could be quite devastating, and be used as a tremendous hidden attack, even more so because of the God's Halo's hidden ability to deprive every single being in the surrounding of their energy.
It was a weird suction force that worked miraculously, and Jason presumed that it would work perfectly fine with the three runic constellations he had inscribed onto the first God's Halo.
With the joy of a completely inscribed God's Halo deeply imprinted in his mind, Jason had then switched his focus on the creation of the UTC phone.
Thus, only nine months later, Jason could be found near a world bridge, millions of light-years away from Tagran, and the stellar system the Home of the Beast Gods was located at.
[Test 1…2…Test… Can you hear me?]
Speaking through the first prototype of the UTC phone, Jason tried to reach Jennifer and the two Dwarf Gods that were eagerly waiting to hear his voice, while being located near the same world bridge.
It was just that they were on the other side, on Tagran, near the underground base of the High Rulic Dwarves.
Everyone was quite nervous, but the moment they heard Jason's voice, a bright smile emerged on the face of the Dwarfs and Jennifer.
It took them several minutes to calm down before the Dwarf God pressed a small button on the UTC phone before saying,
[Yes we can. It's even stable and clear!! Do you get a signal from us?]
Seeing the signal on the phone on their side indicated that they could immediately teleport to Jason's location.
However, it was important that they faced no problems on either side.
But when they saw that a portal manifested right in front of them, the three instinctively backed off before they heard Jason's curious voice.
[Did it manifest at a distance of around a meter in front of you?]
Instead of answering the question, Jason had simply manifested the miniature world bridge, by rmerely using the energy of the two places the coordinates were at, and the UTC phone's energy that was constantly replenishing.
[Eh…Yeah…] Jennifer could only say, before retreating a few steps as she predicted that Jason would do something else without warning them.
And exactly as presumed, a Tiger emerged through the miniature world bridge.
It was probably correct to say that it had been thrown through the portal, but that didn't matter as the Mortal stage Tiger survived the trip through the miniature world bridge, crossing countless light-years without an issue!
At that moment, the baffled Goddess couldn't help but mumble,
[It…works]
Jason heard this and simply stepped through the world bridge as well, emerging on the other side, where he greeted the others.
Earlier, they had wanted to make more tests before jumping through the miniature world bridge by themselves.
But Jason didn't feel this was necessary which was the reason for him to use the miniature world bridge.
Afterward, he deactivated the world bridge, before showing the others that the coordinates of his old position were still marked.
"I can even go back without an issue! If we test out at a few more locations, it should be possible to figure out whether we can only connect the same world bridges again, or if it doesn't matter whether the coordinates change or not.
It shouldn't be a problem under normal circumstances!"
Even if the others thought that Jason was being quite reckless, they simply nodded their heads.
Following that, a few days passed in which everything was tested out.
And to everyone's astonishment, it was not even necessary to fill the energy storage of the UTC phone actively as the used runic constellations were more than enough to replenish it with energy.
"It really works," the Goddess repeated once again, looking at Jason in a new light.
She was pretty sure that Jason wouldn't be able to finish creating the UTC phone in such a short amount of time.
In fact, she thought of it as a dream and wishful thinking that everything would work out, and the little trace of hope was comparable to a possibility of a negligible 0.01%.
But right now, the 0.01% possibility seemed to become reality which caused her to shiver.
'We…might be able to return!!' She nearly shouted out in shock, just before the Dwarf God mumbled,
"Now we only need to test the Void barrier breaker function."
Having tested the limit of the distance one could cross through the miniature world bridges, now their only issue could be considered whether it was possible for the UTC phone to have a signal in other dimensions, spheres, on the other side of the overlapping Universes and so on.
However, testing this was rather difficult, which was why they chose to start the tests with other dimensions.
They were not directly connected to the Universe itself, and, in most cases, they were connected to objects or other existences.
Jason was a pretty good example of such a case.
He had a physical world inside his body, and if one worked it out properly, it should be possible to enter his soul world without the need to be bound to his soul.
This was quite interesting, but it was not a place for them to start experimenting with.
Thus, they used other planes as experiments, such as the interconnected plane, and so on.
While traveling around for a month, they checked out all kinds of dimensions and tested whether the connection between the UTC phones was still stable, no matter how big the distance.
The only thing they had no way of checking out was the actual void breaking function of overlapping Universes…
It took them quite a while as they racked their brains, only for Jennifer to come up with the simplest idea.
"Jason, didn't you say that you can cut through space just like Queen Lailya. You told me that you learned that in the last few centuries...what if we throw one of the UTC phones through the void crack with the live-recording function activated?
Through this, we should be able to test if manifesting a miniature world bridge worked and if it was possible for living beings to survive emerging from on the other side, unscathed at that!"
Her idea was simple, but the enforcement of her idea was even easier than that.
Jason had long since learned how to cut through space, to being ready to face the possibility of it being necessary to kill someone, or in the worst case even flee.
It would be his last resort, but it was also something that he could do quite easily if the cut through void and space was not as big as the one made by Queen Lailya's when she fought the Berserk Black Dragon.
Thus, they implemented Jennifer's suggestion, and to their good fortune everything worked out perfectly fine!
It was a miracle, and the two Dwarf Gods wanted to leave at once after they figured out that everything worked according to Jason's plan.
Yet, instead of trying to make use of the device immediately, they figured that they had lots of things to do before it would be possible to leave.
And, in the end, the UTC phone on the other side of the overlapping Universe was already situated there, and the altered coordinates were engraved in the database of all UTC phones.
As such, they wanted to celebrate with Jason, and thank him over and over again, but he simply shook his head.
After the initial moment of relief of having figured out the solution to everything, realization struck Jason.
'I will soon have to break through into the Driekta stage…and undergo my Tertiary bloodline awakening…'
With that in mind, he had to distance himself from the others. It would be for their best as he didn't want to interrupt their plans when they were so close to the final steps!
"I'm glad to have been of help…but now that everything has been completed, I would like to leave! We can communicate with each other. If something happens, just inform me!"
Jason said after lifting his UTC phone. Jennifer and the others had their own device with their contact details stored in each of them. They even had the blueprints to create more UTC phones.
Yet, in the end, it was only Jason who had the exceptional eyesight to create all the necessary runic constellations.
"Why don't you break to the Driekta stage first before leaving?" The Goddess suddenly asked in a sad voice, disappointed about the sudden distance he wanted to keep from them.
She wanted to thank Jason properly because her one and only dream had come true, and now he was trying to push them away.
Even the Dwarf God couldn't help but feel a little bit odd.
It was only a matter of a few days, or weeks before they could return to her home. And it was even possible to travel between home and their current location.
Thus, the knowledge and lessons she and her husband had imparted to Jason were not on par with the gains she received.
But Jason just shook his head, knowing that he received far more than he could have wished for.
With a deep sigh, he could only reveal the truth behind his reason to leave soon.
"Because I know that my Tertiary Bloodline awakening will attract the Primordials…and I will have to fight them…"
