Most people would feel uncomfortable in a room full of powerhouses, without anyone next to them for moral support, but Jason didn't even notice that Jennifer had left his side.
His focus was trained on evaluating others so he barely realised that two people had suddenly appeared next to him.
Those two looked at each other in confusion, realising that they had approached Jason with the same intention, only to nod to each other as if they were acquaintances.
Now that they were in front of him it would be awkward to walk away, so they simply stared straight at Jason.
"Do you like what you see?" the young woman suddenly asked, dragging Jason out of his fully focused inspection.
Trying to remain calm, he turned towards the young woman, only to squint his eyes.
'Do I know her? I don't think so...'
Seeing his confused expression, the calm woman answered his unspoken question.
"I'm Miranda Parin, and I asked if you like what you are seeing!"
He had already heard her correctly the first time she had asked this question, but Jason was not sure what he was supposed to answer.

After the brief introduction, he wanted to let go of Leo's hand, only to sense that the young Aeus was still holding his hand in a firm grasp.
